If you see a family member, friend or co worker struggling. Reach out and give them a helping hand, instead of letting them sink deeper Into the quick sand.

She is aware that she has only been a dash of colour, a tad dull lately. Soon she will be bright and bold.

Soon she will be filled with all of the colours that she use to be..

Its just taking her a while to retrieve all of the gold that got scattered everywhere back into the *** this time round.

And once every piece of gold that was scattered is found and all together.
Only then she will shine as colourfully like the rainbow that she was before.

The world that we currently live in, is already full of monsters. And it’s so unfortunate when humans let go of there humanity for all the wrong reasons and eventually turn into a monster themselves..

There’s times you’ll be at peace and there  will be times were you’ll be in pieces.

And one day you’ll finally be at peace, instead of being in pieces.

To manipulate another’s mind is inhumane and very un kind.

Once you put someone through emotional abuse you can’t just press re wind and all of a sudden pretend to be kind.

The damage is done. Emotional abuse is like being a puppet getting taken on and off a shelf, the puppeteer has you dangling by all of your strings.

Your hoping that all of your strings would snap, but instead your put back on the shelf until the puppeteer wants to pull on all of your strings, consume you and take control of you again.

The sets keep coming and coming, one after the other. You can’t get up to take a breathe lately. You’re held under, so deeply. You sometimes even feel like you’re drowning. But you know that there will be a break in between the sets that are currently crashing down on you.

And when that very moment arises, when you see the break. You will gain your strength, you will choose to swim, to break through those wave’s of sadness, anger and self doubt.

You really don’t want to sink, you want to keep on swimming, because you are a fighter, a survivor and you’re eager to continue on your journey that we call life.

Waves always come and go, but its up to you weather or not you sink or swim..

Every time we got set on fire, burnt to the ground, even buried beneath it. We chose to get up, we chose to rise, to dust off the ashes that we were suffocating on and regain our focus.

We slowly started to rebuild ourselves time after time again. Every time that we rise, we gain more strength, even if we can’t feel it or see it straight away.

We can combust into glorious flames due to a relapse, a set back or a bad day. This is how I look at people who battle with there mental illness’s every day.

Sometimes we can also be seen as a bright plumage of corresponding colours to fire. Yellow, orange, red and gold, similar to those that resemble the feathers of the majestic, mythical Phoenix.

It doesn’t matter what time it is or how long it takes. Everyday someone wakes up to a new day and forces themselves to get out of bed, even if they don’t want to. They continue to rise from those haunted ashes, from their crippling, consuming mental health illnesses.

And that right there metaphorically speaking, is why i like to think of those who suffer from mental health illnesses, as the fire of the Phoenix..
