,***how do you know when (a human is too broken?)*** <•> human too broken? like the light bulb, removal from its fixture, a simple shaking revelation of the tinkling filament spent, something that cannot be repaired, the only option is replacement and that makes you cry the empty box of oatmeal raisin cookies, you find secret’d, hid by you, not to be found by you at the bottom of the kitchen garbage, but box betrayal, by the chartreuse tipped box lid sided peeking upwards, asking, silencing screaming, what did I do to deserve this degrading like the blouse now too tight that it brings stares as the buttons strain, unwelcome attention unintended, you know it but still pretend not to see, for you both once loved that silky guise that so heightened the high tender, the match of your pink rose skin letting, no! making your eyes glisten, like broken filament glass, on the sidewalk, recalling the pleasured admiration, rain remembered from the prior priority of a life consisting of only perfect gifts so mean revert to the poseur question; this is how... remove the human from a fixed place, whimpering-threatened, you may hear clear the crackle cackling  of the innard shards against the misperception of a body intact, even if you do, no repair service you want,  can be found, see it nowhere, is it even anywhere advertised? the body presumed intact is secret’d under a tactile coverlet, holey scupperrd holy cuttered so that the cells and bicuspids, the threads no longer function in a tandem, you keep it in the closet closed, in the back, deep hid, where, when it screams why, it can be safe ignored, because  ‘betrayed’ is no longer a word, in your globe's dictionary, the parental controls activated by you to save your own inner child’s unconstrained confusion, it has been removed so the broken glass, the clothes you dressed each other, if not weep-well, well enough hid, the fit is off, the fit is off, the coverlet ripped so bad and neither cares

I can lay right next to you and never touch you I can see you smile from across the room without kissing you I can watch you leave the room and resist hugging you goodbye But sometimes when I'm next to you you have to ask me to move away Because for a few minutes I let fantasy get confused with reality and I lean against you during a movie And it's so warm your arm and mine, touching for that minute I'm at peace But when you ask of course I make room Because I don't want you to feel uncomfortable And if you weren't my friend I would probably try it just once, to know what it would be like to kiss you But ideally, I'll get over this and when I am, we'll still be friends So in the meantime I try not to think about kissing you and I only hug you when I have reason to What I'm saying is I will do what I can to keep myself sane and our friendship intact But just know that with every look I give I wish I could give so much more.

I Can Only Try
The moon is still hanging low since it came down so close. The seven seas dance beneath her polished feet but could never touch it. Then the intact moon, in fact, did unleash only when one popped out ahead of the rest. Down from the earth luminary Muhammad Peace be upon him pointed his finger towards it and into two halves did the Moon split! But the man wouldn’t touch it and remained with us all with every human the Moon dwarfs!

Muhammad (PBUH) So Humble
When the darkness comes. I will be waiting for it. With my eyes open wide. With my soul still pure. And with my soul still intact. I will fight with pride. With no going back. I will try not to fall. I will stand my ground. Never bow down my head. Let the darkness engulf me. For my lady's light glows. Her love gives me strength. Against the impossible odds. Showing me the way.

Growth of Man—like Growth of Nature
My son runs, wrapping arms around my nebulous waist. "l love you, Mom!"  He squeezes tighter, as if letting go would be his black hole. "I love you, too, " I squeeze back, absent mindedly.  (Where is the cream? I need coffee.) "I love you more!" he breathes, without pause. He gazes into my eyes, searching my planets. "Oh no, that can't be true," I retort. I forget the coffee, his eyes are starlight. "I love you to infinity!" he exclaims, staring harder. He wants to sail the Milky Way with me. "Me too," I reply, and remember oxygen tanks. I'm speaking in light years, and I hope the sound waves will catch up to him. His face cracks into a million years of forever, before he lets go, dancing across the universe of our livingroom, his solar system intact. At least for now.

To birth a star
Lovebirds An old man sat with patience On the bench he waited for her He smiled sweetly on her appearance Hand in hand they walked together. In the garden full of greens The lovebirds chatted with laughter As if they were in movie scenes The way they looked at each other. He stroke her hair gently Her hair clip he'd bought years ago Still intact she placed it neatly That is the little pink flamingo. Pleasant breeze they enjoyed As they continued walking Her fragile nature shivered In her thin floral dress clothing. He took off his outer layer shirt Naturally putting it on her shoulders She joked about wearing a skirt He thought she was full of wonders. He recalled her bravery She reminisced his sacrifices They've come far in life's journey Counting their little happiness. As I watched from a distance I felt a pinch of sweet jealousy Witnessing true love's existence Yet wishing them to stay as lovely.

Hymn to Aphrodite by Sappho loose translation/interpretation by Michael R. Burch Immortal Aphrodite, throned in splendor! Wile-weaving daughter of Zeus, enchantress, and beguiler! I implore you, dread mistress, discipline me no longer with love's anguish! But come to me once again in kindness, heeding my prayers as you have done before; O, come Divine One, descend once again from heaven's golden dominions! Your chariot yoked to love's consecrated doves, their multitudinous pinions aflutter, you once came gliding from the utmost heights, to the dark-bosomed earth. Swiftly they came and vanished, leaving you, O my Goddess, smiling, your face eternally beautiful, asking me what unfathomable longing compelled me to cry out. Asking me what I sought in my hopeless, bewildered desire. Asking, "Who has harmed you, why are you so alarmed, my poor Sappho? Whom should Persuasion summon here?" "Though today she flees love, soon she will pursue you; spurning love's gifts, soon she shall return them; tomorrow she will woo you, however unwillingly!" Come to me now, most Holy Aphrodite! Release me from my heavy heartache and anguish; grant me all I request, be once again my ally and protector! "Hymn to Aphrodite" is the only poem by Sappho of ****** to survive in its entirety. The poem survived intact because it was quoted in full by Dionysus, a Roman orator, in his "On Literary Composition," published around 30 B.C. A number of Sappho's poems mention or are addressed to Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love. It is believed that Sappho may have belonged to a cult that worshiped Aphrodite with songs and poetry. If so, "Hymn to Aphrodite" may have been composed for performance within the cult. We do know that Sappho was held in very high regard. For instance, when Sappho visited Syracuse the residents were so honored they erected a statue to commemorate the occasion! During Sappho's lifetime, coins of ****** were minted with her image. Furthermore, Sappho was called "the Tenth Muse" and the other nine were goddesses. Light train chugging, working to outrun Over exerting, pulling along your freight Sand is running out under the diminishing sun Fastidiously you tug on your enormous weight Segmented equal in seven hulking proportions Weaving between sleeping rocky giants Assertion in your drive gifted from the high heavens Borne of light your cargo load of tenants Silver blurred rays glinting back as reply As you power your way through Defying seconds, before the last rays should die Against odds, delivering what is due Questing to alleviate my inflicted darkness Spear of brilliance slicing through my mind Illuminating the farthest and tiniest of crevices Nook and crannies that willed me blind Careful manoeuvring to keep your balance Through scenic views fraught with treachery Furiously working to keep your cadence Hopeful of unloading the load you carry What lies dormant in that cargo of yours? What sleeps easy within those boxcars? What stokes the fire to diligently run your course? What promises you bear, travelling near and far? Bales of hope and crates of strength Supplies of kindness and self-worth Reside within your immense length Intact and lay quiet within your formidable girth Reliant on the light that fuels and feeds Your axles seem tireless guiding forth those wheels Thundering over land with the power of a thousand steeds Armed to your teeth with alloys and steels Expelling grit and dirt as you pummelled across Grey-white fumes, shoot up to the sky Flag flogged by wind, billow and toss Blaring your whistle as you race on by Propelling forward, horizon up ahead There it is...in all its tenebrous glory Darkened locomotive seething mad with dread Brace for the clash and the loads the two carry

Of all the super heroes who exist like legends, or monuments in entertainment, or essential cultural commodities, and my favorite is Moon Knight. Never met a good reception. Never had a particularly well done story. I like Moon Knight in theory; a superhero with mental issues, with friends who face the moral challenge of playing into his insanity, versus helping him stop serious crimes. It seemed like a social commentary to me; why do we hate dictators, but love superheroes? How is it we understand absolute power corrupts absolutely, yet also think having an alien demigod semi-rule the planet is really in the best interest of our species? The design for Moon Knight has always been immaculate to me; directly representing the fallibility of the hero, diving into the night with a decadent radiance, he wears all white, and declares he enjoys it- for his enemies to know he's coming. Does it make sense? No. Much like the Punisher, Moon Knight doesn't struggle with being morally black and white, but does struggle with keeping that identity intact. His eyes glowing, no face shown... just darkness. All the emotion in the world broadcast through two glowing orbs. sometimes red, sometimes green, often white. A visual hint to clouded mind of Moon Knight; Marvel's true Batman gone awry. Gone insane. A failed son who won't die. Here's to it.

"Moon Knight."
They say the pen is mightier than the sword If this is true then God was the sword and you were a pen And I was the pencil who laid you a foundation of erased mistakes only for you to trace upon them as if they didn't exist. And I was cast in the bottom of some cluttered bag while you were gently capped and placed in a box lined with blue silk, And you knew I would always be there to test the waters before you spilled the pages with your brash delicacy. But you needed me and I craved you for completion. Together we created sweeping illustrations and lengthy novels with dozens of sequels. We depicted a tale of modern love in our ball-pointed journey. But my graphite stayed intact while your ink started to run out. I could see as our pages unfolded that your colors no longer spread as boldly. You became more and more invisible as I desperately etched harder and harder into every page hoping to give you clearer guidelines but you no longer had it in you. And soon enough we couldn't make anything beautiful. You had run out. And I'm still hopelessly drawing maps desperate that you can regain what you once had and use the indentations on previously blank pages to find your way back to me.

Her heart's a captive Iole, my hands pressed softly to her back. Lips a place where I will stay, to keep our love intact. And at her lips I shall stay, to keep our love intact.

The evolution of art never halts Once we began dancing around fire Our feet couldn't stop A place in our lives Where our subpar seeds Could be seen as glowing trees That's the way I feel about my poetry It reminds me a lot of me I reread it and rewrite it so often By the end it seems unoriginal and plain And all I can hope Is the themes and ideas that were the inspirational genesis Remain intact Art walks a tightrope over the most unpredictable factor The audience They are the other half of art Their power cannot be overstated And as time progresses Their power grows And the importance of art always extends an equal distance But the stronger art becomes The more it asks of it's audience In many cases The audience is not ready to take the call This is one of those times Here at the current pinnacle of art Surfing the web A wonderful chance as Art is a reflection of people and society The Internet is people and society But just as we listen to songs To decide what concert to go to Or watch trailers To decide what movie to see We like what we like And put blinders on to find it Like moths to fire We could do amazing things If we could harness the potential Of our collective conscious But the threat of losing our individuality Is too great for us Unable to accept Our individuality is always in the context of our cosmic existence We are part of something greater And we can't escape that Even in death We feed what lies beneath The memory of our lives Shrinks to obscurity The maggots that cover our corpses Flourish to maturity Everything this world creates is art And we are it's most complex creation Not necessarily the best We just have the most parts And the maggots that use our dead bodies for sustenance Were once the monsters that roamed this Earth They had no nationality Or political affiliations Or religion And they're still here Waiting to reclaim their throne Once "smarter" species seek suicide

that feeling when (your) finger tips clutch (my) bare skin veiled in casual apathy we watch the screen in silence not knowing what to say i don't know what went on behind your flickering eyes as for me, the moment of contact sent jumpy tingles up my spine unexpectedly my mind reeled forward to unspent nights in dance clubs or backyard barbecues; the way your hands felt in mine when we leaned in lips still intact-- unbroken

I wish me invisible I want to disappear I am but a damsel Parading in knight's gear I want to be the unknown I need to be again a stranger I wish my secrets not shown Back to a time when it was clearer I wish to be a zephyr I want to be felt not seen I need to be less of the liar At least lesser than I have been I crave the comfort of solitude I long for the absence of physical contact I miss the tears that once had ensued Somehow then I was more intact I want to be an undetermined star I need to be unnamed in an uncharted galaxy I wish to retreat behind my avatar So you won't see the real me I wish me invisible I want to be protected by ambiguity I need to disappear from this debacle Into the welcoming arms of anonymity

Flood may have shown, nature won the battle in disguise of rain But the intact hope and courage Kerala says Humanity wins again Flood may have taken their all belongings But it left the trust and the hope, great of all belongings And Kerala still have that intact, while facing the flood And Kerala calls you to help them even after the flood Flood may have shown, nature won the battle in disguise of rain But the intact hope and courage Kerala says Humanity wins again Disastrous flood may have broken the houses But their spirit isn't, it is still intact If this is the test of courage and spirit, They'd get distinction in this in fact Flood may have shown, nature won the battle in disguise of rain But the intact hope and courage Kerala says Humanity wins again With or without helps and funds Kerala is rising and rising again like a plant from seed, like sun at the dawn And it will rise and rise until skies limit them And it will shine even brighter so uncertainty's darkness would be gone Flood may have shown, nature won the battle in disguise of rain But the intact hope and courage Kerala says Humanity wins again I thought nature is the god and you have to kneel before it, even if you're not willing Now I know, your spirit is the god and if it's strong, you don't have to kneel if you're not willing Flood may have shown, nature won the battle in disguise of rain But the intact hope and courage Kerala says Humanity wins again

like blue blisters in the sun her eyes pierce me through with a fierce reckoning as she looks on "you can't keep me here, I'm long gone" she said. and I smoked the rest of my lit cigarette as I watched her walk passed the wall I had built around myself and out the front door. she walked away with the same sizzling stride the others did and I'm left here with a beer, partially intact, happy with my secret pact to never fall in love with a blue-eyed blonde beauty ever again.

Human Observations (the woman pees) if you walk the world with pen and paper or eclectic electronic devices, sure as the sunrise espied, the pen will quick leak when wearing white and so will too the righteous words righteously, thereafter when you can't sleep and you must slam your sweaty fist into pillow know that the pillow is silent thinking, dude, you really ain't got a hope, a prayer fallen asleep in the soaking tub a thousand and one times, ain't never drowned like the warning ones say I will do but only when restless in my rustling no-safety night sleep in my lumpy bed, where I’ve already dream-drowned a million times the woman pees, safe and secure, comforted by the knowledge that we have bathrooms separate, her toilet, man *** free, tho we just finished making sweaty, fluid swapping *** she does not, won't put on makeup in her pj's to take out the garbage, that is why she keeps loverman, so handy, nearby, shamelessly firm, unwavering, good god, great for one "disposable" use per night when you tell your child that you love them, and they do not reply at all, it isn't that they don't love ya back, 'tis only that they haven't learned to love themselves something well that just cannot be taught. the more trinkets I buy her, more she screams stop, but never not once has she said, here, take it back if you don't believe in Faeries and Elusives, try, for then you have a middling chance of getting the missing, disappearing whole sock hiding in her ****** back, intact If must look up the time where your love is currently hiding/residing, then the probability is more than 1.000, that you no longer love her enough, or she, you, not at all you know it is time to shut down, hang up the pen and close the iPad cover, surrender, give up the poetry gig 4 real when you start to prefer an autocorrect suggestion ~ More to follow. someday.
