kissing you was like swerving into oncoming traffic i can never tell if i am more haunted by empty picture frames or the ashes of their contents you taught me that the saying "pick your battles" meant not answering when love was at the door sometimes when i drink whiskey i swear i can hear your voice in the creases of my bedsheets & i sleep on the floor i still catch myself running my hands over things you touched the most, looking for the echoes of your fingertips i practice things i'll never say to you i remember the day you told me you didn't like poetry, how "everything's already been said" & how "nothing meaningful can be captured without being cliche" you know, i don't miss you like the sun and moon, i do not miss you like tide bent waves crashing on the shoreline, i miss you like a chernobyl  swingset misses children rumor has it that drowning is a lot like coming home, that drinking bleach can **** the butterflies in your stomach for your love of cigarettes, i would have been an ashtray this halloween i want to dress up as the you when you loved yourself and show up on your doorstep i never understood what you meant when you said i was an instrument, back when you would cup your hands around my chest and breathe through the holes in my heart, i still wonder if the sounds i made remind you of wind chimes i never paid much attention to abandoned buildings until i became one in my dreams all the flowers smell like your perfume i am the only person who has ever wished for the same snowflake to fall twice if i could go back, and rewrite the definition of audacity, it would be how when we lost the bet of love, you said "we never shook on it" i love you, if the feeling is not mutual, please pretend this was a poem the only apology i want from you, is to have you repeat the names of children we will never have in your parents living room until they ***** we are the same person if you find yourself up at 4am dry heaving promises, or if you are kept awake by the laughter of those who've abandoned you nobody ever told you that goodbyes taste like the back of stamps sometimes i'm convinced that the only reason we hug, is so you can check my back for exit wounds

yours is the music for no instrument yours the preposterous colour unbeheld —mine the unbought contemptuous intent till this our felsh merely shall be excelled by speaking flower (if I have made songs it does not greatly matter to the sun, nor will rain care cautiously who prolongs unserious twilight)Shadows have begun the hair’s worm huge, ecstatic, rathe…. yours are the poems i do not write. In this at least we have got a bulge on death, silence, and the keenly musical light of sudden nothing….la bocca mia “he kissed wholly trembling” or so thought the lady.

Yours Is The Music For No Instrument
*I enter the room, it's quite cold. I cover my ears, new mates are so noisy. I am alone, I have no friends. I am a shy type kind of girl, opposite from what you are. You are so loud that I can't bare with it. I introduce myself, I play violin and I just got my new eyeglasses. Is that even a thing that I've mentioned it? Well, it is. Your friends shouted that you have a new crush. She plays the same instrument as I am. She has eyeglasses as I am. Is it a hint? I still don't believe.*

high school sweetheart pt. 1
The waves rush in and out again, Legs useless, hands limp, arms bent, The masked ones have departed, the cutting now has quit. Silent, though I wish to scream, Brain it is pounding, in a preamble to explode. White light and incessant buzzing, relentless pain is throbbing, conveying its full extent. Hands and kind face suddenly appear, Holding blessed instrument, Approaching now quite near, Into my drip it does commence, I descend into the depths, white to grey to black again. Down I go in welcome spin, into the embrace of oblivion, Ah, Morpheus my dear, dear sweet friend. Wake me not until I'm dead, Or 'til the tide does ebb again.

Recovery Room, waiting for the tide
Advice from Freuchen , the explorer When Arctic blizzards blow in Northern Greenland and your supplies are low and dwindling the best advice is build an igloo and wait out the storm. And when you hear the wolves howling with hunger and prowling on your igloo roof it’s best to go outside and sing - only occasionally though you will fight to be heard above the judder of the wind. Inside the igloo will be problematic the walls seem to close in as claustrophobic days proceed it’s not an illusion but a fact each breath freezes moisture in the walls and breath by breath they thicken spaces close around your body breathing yourself in a coffin of ice. There’s no instrument of death devised by man to so terrify as being locked in space and time each breath reminding you of that closeness to that final loss of breath and an icy Arctic death.

The days where i'm shy, I call my friend along, I speak through him and he speaks through me He knows how  I see things, as he sees things the way I see it, If you know your instrument well, you'd  understand what im saying So when day comes to present and show, We dont feel that we are letting go, we are a team. and what we do, we do it together. If you know your instrument well, you'd  understand what i'm saying

My Violin, My Buddy
By rgpage The cool evening breeze filled with a scent of approaching rain. Caught by playful window shears as it passes through an open pane, to reach their   length and breadth toward the waiting bed. He was a lover of music and his woman, a passionate man with a sensitive heart. She was in love with the melodic way   his gentle fingers moved with sensual touch over her soft silk like skin of art. He started gently around her ears softly prying them open with the quiet richness of her melodies. Each note of his gentle kisses leading her to a sensual abyss, easing her down from the edge, controlling her descent, to her goal. Down the swirling dark and light blends of the music rendered from her soul. She was his instrument on which he placed his soft loving fingers, moving them effortlessly, caressing her most sensual delicate keys…Each body part smoothly rubbed added richness to her sensual sound driven by lust and loving trust.   Her ******* he fondled, licking and kissing, squeezing and rubbing. Silently giving thanks, to her creator for such an amazing instrument. Both of her hands with long slender fingers tangled in the long dark locks of his hair as she eases her maestro’s head up tighter against her soft beautiful mounds. The loving melody continues with his touch now joined with the sound of raindrops splashing into uncovered metal buckets and cans. The drops carried on the breeze through the playful dancing shears came through the other end as nothing more than refreshing cooling mist. Her body was his loving piano, and as with the 88 keys of his magnificent Baldwin, the sensual areas of her equally magnificent body, when properly stroked,  filled not  only the bedroom but the whole house with the most glorious ****** notes known to man.   After a while the symphonic ****** builds as he masterfully impales her with his instrument of love coming into constant contact with the one special key of keys. Its special sound as his strokes came harder and faster brought the whole master piece to a beautiful melodic end as the two lovers bath in the rain’s gentle mist…

~Modesty & Respect has been lost and now the tears are too hot to turn into frost~ ◄►◄►◄►◄► Sickness in the mind is revised As the eyes are revealed to a non-existing surprise Pretending that the colorful pills are sweet tasting skittles While tears forms into a spiraled riddle Generations are messed up because good-teachings are slack So in the young minds rightfulness lack There is peace even if chaos may seem to consume In dark tunnels a dim light will soon loom But if you perceive To conceive Not to believe Then tell me how will you ever achieve? Life is not a game, but a vivid reality So save every special moment of sensuality Remember that you are an instrument Play your life story, sing your mind, and bleed your words out loud with contentment You’re not useless Humanities truths…believe every single bit of it, release your stress Strength lies within your heart You’re such a beautiful sculpted art Do the opposite of what depression tells you, you won’t lose Your fate lies in each choice you make, carefully choose Your future is the next moment Make each obstacle your stepping stone and then you can easily avoid torment Then spectral corruption Will never be able to destroy your inner emotion ◄►◄►◄►◄►

Spectral Corruption
#Preface This is not aimed at a single person, nor written for applause. It is a naming, a mirror, a reminder that truth spoken with accountability carries its own fire. The Witness belongs to anyone willing to bear that flame, even for a moment. This is not accusation, but naming in clarity: Projection is the currency. The herd is the instrument. Seduction is the method. Obscurity is the shield.   And when truth enters,   it unsettles the herd. The first defense is always the lullaby.. soft verses sung to calm the trembling, to cradle the anxious back into sleep. But the lullaby is no vision; it is anesthesia, a narcotic of words. It soothes so that no one questions the darkness that holds them. Yet the mantle descends where it will. A word spoken in accountability burns like flame, piercing the fog, shattering the spell. Even for a moment, it breaks the hold and shows the rulers for what they are:       *unclothed,   powerless,              undone.* #

Love letter To an Anorexic: sadomasochistic poetry
# You are your own instrument in the world orchestra Join the chorus Play a solo Or Simply stop Rest And listen to the beauty happening all around you The choice is yours Be your own voice Or follow another But only follow another if it resonates in your core as your true calling Above all else follow your heart Let your inner beauty shine so that the world can share in the special unique characteristics and traits that glorify your idiosyncratic nature wholly encompassing all that you are Making you special Making you YOU Because the best version of you is the authentic you And it not only brings inner peace but is also the greatest gift you can give the world #

Nobody can make you feel unwanted nor sad Because what you have felt this evening was sacred Three souls playing, fighting, crying As if I have witnessed a conversation of people who understood how to make life a living, a misery and a land where we could forget our differences To become one in their little world of music To witness magic Endless shadows To feel so happy A sentiment of pure excstasy To experience patience, rage , sadness in a second Is  rare in our world To experience pain, nostalgia and a piece of your distant country To close your eyes from all this madness To see lights in Ouds To witness a cozy litlle night filled with nothing but candles and people making you forget that your soul is trapped into a body that constantly suffers Our deepest selves have found a shelter We have visited our loved ones with our invisible wings We've known what made us human We've seen three persons merging into one for the sake of music We've seen them through moments of excstasy but most of all hard and severe body movements Giving life to a woodly instrument Making the robotic and the technological a human for once

The last kiss from you Lasted like a huddle in The snow blitz Rocking my anatomy In the frosty glitz The last words from you That barged in my eardrum You were in a hurry To smell a new leaf Draped in a diamond dew The last gifts from you Was an instrument Which still I use To recognize people Or to refuse! The last time You said I love you I remember I was laughing Hysterically as if I was watching Jared Leto’s jaded mimicry of Joker in YouTube Intriguingly, when the last time I saw you **** It felt like pretty Ivanka’s embarrassment Noticing her dad is a lewd The last time I was chatting With you on Facebook I was wondering why I shouldn't hack your account? To check your inbox Yea, it was filled with the message of ******* F- Bombs, **** shaming and tagging you as harlot All they were asking was your service of escort Either in full discount or in hefty cash drops! The last time I wrote A letter of love to you I discovered my Keyboard Began to blurt out No more, No more, No more… The last time I had a chit-chat With you in the Burger King or Pizza Hut I listened to your hissing clack-clack That someone else has become your puppy cat… The last time I became sick When I was with you I heard you threw a party Where you were whispering To your besties, how I become your double whammy! The last time I was With you in the bed I felt like I was indentured To **** a dummy toy Sans spirit and flesh! Loving you was like Santa Claus gifted me With a Pandora’s Box As soon as I opened it You decided to release Our *** tape of your having ****** In pornhub’s forum of interracial! The last time I heard of you Is that you were giving an interview To The Cosmopolitan’s board of review Facing the barrage of inquisitions You calmly joked, the series Of latest uproar about you In the social media or Internet Is because certain people always Love to rave about Women’s body Shoving in and out of their pigeonhole With their one night stand queen trophy To flavor your form in their fantasmic mouth You also smirked in a raspy voice Defiantly declaring “we (women) Have been locked indoors With no air, no food, no water” My last boyfriend is also no exception He certainly thinks I came this far Through ******* and deception

I truly am pathetic. But not for the ways you say. For the way that I let you tear me down. For the way I said it was my fault. That everything was my fault. In truth it was yours darling. But I thought if I blamed myself, then you wouldn’t be hurt. That you would feel better about yourself. And you did, But I didn’t. Now this is what it’s come to? You, writing these spiteful lies you call poetry? Now you’ve become pathe- No… I can’t speak of you this way. I never could. I always let you hurt me with a smile on my face. I always blamed myself, though that was not the case. I should have said something. Stood up for myself. But I didn’t want to hurt you, Make you sad, Make you feel the way I do… I just wish That these people, The ones who read your poems Knew the whole story, My side of it. The side that makes the ****** the villain That makes the abuser, the awful, disgusting, worm of a man, just a sad, lonely and broken boy, willing to destroy himself to see his true love happy. But words are powerful And hers may be better than mine. If so then my story may go untold, Unbelieved. But, believed or not, The truth must be told I will no longer be that pathetic, submissive soul, but instead an instrument to show the truth A lens of truth…

Pathetic Me
Real love lives in your eyes, It lives in your smile. It's even shared through the extension Of your hand. Real love is exceptional & phenomenal, Much like a cassette tape wound up In emotion. Real love is realistic & finds a way to communicate, no matter How hard the emotion. Real love travels with you. Real love lives & breathes the same Breath as you. The beat of your heart divine & Echos mine. Real love remembers the day my heart met yours, Although it's been quite a while, Real love still remembers your name & Although cassette tapes are a bit Outdated. I still remember staying up all night Listening to the sound of your Voice. No matter the instrument, Real love finds a way

Real Love
Me, I play the piano said one me, I play the violin said another me the harp, me the banjo me the cello me the bagpipes, me the flute and me, a rattle. And they talked talked talked about what they played. No music was heard everyone talked talked talked and no one played but in a corner one man remained silent: "And you, Sir, who remain silent and say nothing, what instrument do you play?" the musicians asked him. "Me, I play the barrel ***** and I also play the knife," said the man who until now had said absolutely nothing and then he advanced knife in hand and killed all the musicians and played the barrel ***** and his music was so true and so lively and so pretty that the daughter of the house’s owner came out from under the piano where she lay bored to sleep and said: "Me, I played hoop ball, chase I played hopscotch I played with a pail I played with a shovel I played house I played tag I played with my dolls I played with a parasol I played with my little brother with my little sister I played cops and robbers but that’s over over over I want to play assassin I want to play the barrel ***** And the man took the little girl by the hand and they went into towns into houses, into gardens and killed as many people as possible after which they married and had many children. But the oldest learned piano the second, violin the third, harp the fourth, the rattle the fifth, cello and they all took to talking talking talking talking talking so that no more music was heard and all was set to begin again!

I beg inside my soul to have you. I don't love you. I want to feel passion, desire, and the warmth of another body pressing against me I could grab any man I wanted, but I want you. I see your brown hair let me run my fingers through, just once Your eyes soft earth Your lips pink lilacs And all I want is your body Which is very saddening. To only want to use someone, then toss them aside like trash How can you? And still fall asleep at night without thinking about a face wet with tears your fault I simply want to do to you What you have done To All the women before me, The same song as a trickery I want you to fall in love with me an instrument meets the music I want you to hold me close and kiss me, as you share your fears and truths. a melody plays softly I want you to believe in love because of me Think of me, breathe me, and miss me when we are not together accelerato tempo Until one day you meet me in a corner booth at our favorite restaurant, and I rip your heart to shreds *Look, I never loved you. I lied. I used you to get what I want. You are a pathetic, self-serving dung heap that only thinks about himself. You wooed me, I pretended to like you, so I could dig under your thick facade of masculinity, and discover your sensitive side. I know what you are--man whore--and I enjoyed using you. You can lie to everyone, every woman from this point on, but ten years from now, when you are married to wife number four and you are waiting for her to come home and she never does, I want you to crawl into the bed you made and bawl like the whining, sniveling baby you truly become at night when no one else is around you. I hope 'lonely' presses you down so hard it hurts to breathe. And maybe then you might turn into a different man or at least your miniscule brain will have an inkling of true heartbreak. Doubtful though--I win. You lose* Then I get up and walk away from you, ignoring any pleas and ****** slurs. Caesura

Your presence engulf my existence A fragile instrument I cannot touch Grasping for air with this essence The nearness of you makes me want you much Loving you is bittersweet symphony Trap in a lifeless agony I tried to hold on for what it's worth But then it hit me, oh help me clarity Adrift in this feckless fray I have lost you once, strayed the second time Wanting for you is a curse I have to pay

For Her
Love is a public hanging. I build a beautiful platform with eloquence ***** the instrument of my demise. Fully conscious of my impending end wrap the rope around my throat she screams the guilty verdict and soon I dangle, twitching in the desert breeze. I'm an immortal criminal, and I never learn, a perpetual repeat offender. I’ll soon be swinging from the gallows once again… it's just a matter of time.

Cynical Romantic
The snow drifts were quite high, piling up into the northern sky, burying towns and trees and the poor souls who had fallen asleep on the grass and had awoken with shivers as snowflakes left little kisses on their eyelids. Except that, it was never grass. There was never any grass to begin with. There was no grass or spring or sun or summer or birds. There was only winter and snow. And the blinding, white terrain had become both a place of desolation and s a n c t u a r y. The Aroura Borealis danced like a beautiful blue fire across the night sky. Stars blinked in and out of existence. And somehow, the halls always remained. The blue halls. Imagine, if you will, the Colosseum cut into halves and shaped like an elbow macaroni. Drop it out in the middle of an arctic wasteland and wash it in the blue glow of the northern, night sky. A bright yellow light poured out of the windows and onto the snow, but no one was ever inside. Some say it's the doorway to heaven. Others say it's the gates of hell. And then there are the strangers. Strangers who wear their lavender, silk headscarves and avoid the rumors of such an exquisite and eclectic piece of architecture. Others like myself. "If there is no one inside, then where is the music coming from?" He asked me, his blue eyes shining as blue as the heavenly hues against the midnight clouds. " The halls will hum if the wind passes through them just so." We listened to them once more. A low and ancient hum emanated from the structure. It was an old sound that resonated within me-unnerved me. The mysterious blue halls were not a simple door to some glorious silver city or the passageway to a fiery lake. The halls were the most beautiful and interesting instrument the universe has even known. "It's the harmonica of the gods!" Perhaps one of them dropped it. Perhaps it was a flaw in design. Perhaps it was meant to be silent and with one teensy miscalculation, an entire orchestra of notes were born by the wind. Perhaps it is telling me to tell you that you should look not towards all that makes you perfect, but the imperfections because that is where true beauty rests. And you are so beautiful. The kind of beauty that doesn't know it's own beauty. Like when you are sleeping, and the moon washes over your face. I like when you are sleeping, for you are so beautiful, yet so unaware.

Blue Halls
Selling out for fame and wealth
XLI I thank all who have loved me in their hearts, With thanks and love from mine. Deep thanks to all Who paused a little near the prison-wall To hear my music in its louder parts Ere they went onward, each one to the mart’s Or temple’s occupation, beyond call. But thou, who, in my voice’s sink and fall When the sob took it, thy divinest Art’s Own instrument didst drop down at thy foot To hearken what I said between my tears, . . . Instruct me how to thank thee! Oh, to shoot My soul’s full meaning into future years, That they should lend it utterance, and salute Love that endures, from Life that disappears!

Sonnet 41 - I Thank All Who Have Loved Me In Their Hearts
We had come to see him, the aging Tenor sing. He was as good as he had always been. But half way through, a woman appeared, Moving gracefully in bare feet upon the stage. Entering the ring of bright spot light near him. Long blond hair, falling loose around her neck, Held back both sides by Turtle Shell combs, Reflecting the light. Adorned in but a simple, low cut black dress, Her with a face beautiful as a new spring day. Held in her left hand an ebony hued violin, Touched fondly, like a well accustomed old friend. Her right hand holding a bow, ready and waiting. The Tenor’s and her eyes met and conveyed a message Only they understood.  Then starting slow and low, The full Orchestra commenced. The woman in black Brought instrument up to her chin, lovingly resting her face upon it, as if comforted by it's touch to skin. The fetching violinist, like a graceful reed, In summer breeze, began to gently sway, Laid Bow to strings and a transcended beauty, The voice of both her Instrument and from within she, Emerged through her fingers, completely filling the hall. With eyes closed, the slight movements of expression On her face registering the feelings the musical notes made, As if those gestures too, guided the bow's musical cords. Slender precise fingers lovingly caressing the strings. For nearly a minute, she and her violin played alone. Her actions of body, hands and head in concert, To her music, unavoidably hypnotic it could be said. The Tenor started to sing, and yet my eyes stayed Locked on her, as if no one else in the room was there. The blond woman in the black dress owned the stage. I have no idea how long that piece of music lasted, I could not attest to what contribution the Tenor made. Fully my attention and eventually my heart belonged To that lovely, evocative young woman in the backless, Little black dress. It’s true that I may never see or hear her play again, I know not, even her name. And yet, I’m sure that I will never forget those Few minutes mesmerized by her magical spell. Hopelessly caught in her enchanting web. With me sitting, third row, isle seat left, Worshiping as I did, at her so pretty, Slightly ***** naked feet, the striking Blond woman in the black dress.

She says she doesn’t have the strength within herself to write poetry. Yes, her. The one who so often nourished me with song til my soul began to learn how to hunt for itself, whose word carried weight in leading me to pick my own instrument, albeit one of a different tone, as the key in keyboard became prominent for the first time and the sound of purposeful fingers upon it could be considered, only in the right light, synonymous to the plucking of strings, just as rooted in emotion. Yet she's the first to say that she herself can't do it. Thing is, I suppose we’re politely at odds on the matter. She favors poetry that’s sharper, with a cleaner cut, that’s message is immediate and jarring as a conduit running from soul through skin, or a loose-lipped diary finally freed from lock and key. And when she declared it, I started to consider what my poems seem to me: Blackberry bushes (but kinder, I hope) that snag and immerse just long enough to make me feel I’ve had an effect. I’ve used writing to expel my most gnarled feelings to any passerby who’s maybe felt the same. Like crying in a mirror: alarming, but oddly refreshing, and an indefinite reminder that our aches are never only our own. Still, I'm not sure why it blows my mind to hear that even the most glamorous hearts, who wear confidence as a summer breeze that's always in their favor and who inspire, from beau gestures to sleight of hand, are included in those who find themselves pacing back, back and forth, begging curbside at the dime store for a scrap of the same feed that convinces a heart to pump ink. But she says that any art that's enjoyed is worth it. So while she seeks out words that bare the bones, I’ll stay and make a meal of the marrow, hollowing them so that the poetry may have a rightful place to reverberate as hymns in a universal monastery. But hell, like I’m any old soul. I dress nicer than I otherwise would, turn to the mother who told me I don’t meet her lowest standards, and ask for a critique. All for the moment when she greets me at the door with a legendary G#. ...Now please, could you spare a dime?
