"insomuch" poems
Crimson fades away into a sensation of touch
As silence reigns admissibly
Courage stakes a privileged claim insomuch
To become known as chivalry
Existence of noble-spiritedness speaks of gentle blue
Drifting in on courtesy divine
Magnificent to behold, never given quite its due
Delicious as a fruit
Upon a vine
Majestic is the profile of chivalrous comportment
Daring held within a gentle sign
A quietness that speaks to hush the detriment
Stirring among the crimson
In my mind
Crimson fades away, hushed by your presence
Upon your gentle blue I feed
Your gracious strength completes my essence
Silently you consume
All crimson shades
In me

I’m learning to become adept
at not looking at everything
through a microscope in depth
embracing the moment
when my body sings
the praises of his silken touch
his charms and wicked demands
knowing full well that insomuch
I’m wearing his words as pearls
which is exactly how I like it

In that,
the tiny pushpins
that invade my clumsy pulse.
In that
I find you
in that-
the electric scarf
I wear around my neck
Insomuch I find
you choke me
so I am not wordless,
I am not without screaming-
dripping and falling from my lips
wrapped like gifts of mortar
more out than in
no I am not wordless.
I see you and tiny electric pulses
dance on me
dice through me
I feel you
touch so perfect
like a violin string
strung-
strung taught
tight against my mouth
tight against you leaving.
I am sensory.
I am sound that bounces angry
I am sound that chisels
the prayers of the prayer wheels
upon the bumps of my spine.
listen, listen
for your footfalls
and you will touch me,
perfect touch
of space and air
and fingertips that have no bones
no skin
just a note on a
cello-of a touch
and a kiss from behind my neck
a strangle,
such the kiss is tight.
tiny electric pulses through me,
oh, love,
for the tiny electric pulses
that bounce through,
move me.
prayers on the prayer wheel
spinning.

Insomuch as your eyes
whose gaze castrated rays
of golden summery sunset shine.
Who beneath cascading faux catalysts,
capsized in bad Faith,
punch-drunk-love assumed
a more subtle form.
But the scope of harshity,
contingent on reality,
never so sea-deep rolled
until day broke dawn
and hope's first light
precipitated the tetronimos of life
perfectly aligned.
So hurtle your defiance at the stars.
Because my love for you
is as much a roof
as the hole-poked legions
of heaven's souls
hold my company
on warm summer nights.
Summer nights that I dreamt of
you without a face,
love without a name,
and life with a purpose.
I am the universe
and this is your playground.

Breathe my name with the breeze that rustles
Through the leaves and part your velvet-touched
Lips, that they may take my own rough ones
To a place as near bliss insomuch
That I can smell the melting morning dew
On your frosted hazel eyes through
Your lips. Let me uncloak you with
Trembling hands, and bid adieu
To whatever sadness resided in our hearts,
Through your ***** and its plaintive song,
So supple and melodious, falling
Only on ears to which it belongs.
I've lost myself in you beyond recovery;
Call on me and you will find me true,
If God wills, as the answer to
This most exquisite question - you.
