I wage war That's never been seen before Is sanity worth fighting for? I'm not really sure Insanity? A calamity? I call it individuality! Who is Society To create this hypocrisy?!? It seems like such a tragedy To waste such ingenuity To dull the creativity

Insanity
You don’t need to try so hard. You can wear the clothes you want. Do whatever you please, Express yourself the way you know how. You can wear those heels Just because you love them. Your true friends will accept you And all your little quirks. It’s time to let it go, Let go of all your fears of judgement. Stop caring what people think of you, It’s none of your business anyways. You are who are for a reason. You’re crazy, eclectic, A miss independent and a little rebellious. You like to defy the norms of society So why aren’t you doing it? Let go of all those rules and make your own. You’ve always stood for the outcasts, Paving your own path, Cutting the trees blocking your way. Why care now about fitting in When you’re a shining gem? You were born to lead, to conquer. This is your destiny, you’ve always worn Your individuality just like a badge. Don’t become submissive, Stop looking for approval, You won’t find it anywhere But inside of yourself. It’s the self-acceptance that comes first, There’s no better friend than you. Go on, look in the mirror. Remember, you better like who you are, That is the person you’ll be stuck with For the rest of your life. Enjoy all the strangeness, All the weird parts of your personality. There’s no refunds, no exchanges. You are who you are and that Is perfection; no matter what anyone says. Accept who you are now, Accept all the growth to come. You can accomplish even your Wildest dreams, those shooting stars. It’s time to just be, Time to stop leaning on societies Ideals and march on out With head held up high. Self acceptance is all you need.

When people ask if you're weird, or tell you, or want to believe themselves strange, eclectic, or odd. It's vaguely disgusting to me, cringeworthy in a mild degree. We think we're so different, but we are not. The individualism of people should be and is comparable to the individualism of ants. Who looks at the anthill and sees something in particular, something behaving specifically "uniquely" from every ant and every anthill? Why do you believe in yourself? I see this, as a conversation about depression, and your partner does not respect you but instead wants to tell you how they feel worse, or have it worse, or "understand" more about the affirmation or situation. A person looking for individuality through a lens of misery, anguish, and sadness, is truly alone in their minds, and missing the reality that these depressions exist without them. The statement, "you are not alone" is an attack, or an offense to these people, because it says "you are not as unique as you think", it strips them of their identity and individuality. This is true of many ideologies and affirmations. I quit individuality, this constricting sense of holding everything of yourself in center, to be a drop in the whole, something fluid. If you split your affirmations from yourself, you'd see we're all the same; Affirmations are just currents in the ocean. I look at myself; and people see a man, a radical feminist, and sometimes a musician. As labels, these each have their own presupposed notions, [especially, "man" or "male" in the patriarchal gaze] which hardly, if ever, are true, but as affirmations, when I consent to using them, these are no longer stereotypes that constrain me, but similarities that I realize I can embrace or shut out in others. Affirmations do not make me more unique, but similar to more people. If I remove these affirmations to try and get to my "true" center, my purest form of self, I see I am without meaning. This is why I quit Individuality.

Humans are by nature unappeasable  no matter their behavior. As a conformist We threaten outsiders, Yet long to be our own person. And individuality is no better, We long for acceptance of The group we once called home. That is the nature of humans, We viscously treat those that are not like us. Its no wonder so few are happy with such constant inner confliction. Because the human mind is a kingdom ruled by two fears, Fear of the unknown, And Fear of rejection.

Individuality vs conformity
I am a snowflake whirling fast towards the ground my final resting place. As I fall people notice me but seldom see my individuality. Being like no other I stand out yet, not enough to be admired for long.

kiss me with mango sherbet in your mouth and sticky orange tinted lips these car tires are growing old but I am young with three dimples on my face callouses on my fingertips of my left hand stop with the 'you're scared' in which century does refusal amount to fear liberation by the pen drawings on my hand consumes me individuality is not dead I am here with fiery intent occasionally lost in a girly figure with a small waist and awkward ankles don't dance alone dance a soliloquy like the bruise on my neck (labors of love are not merely towards humans)

G. government O. organization O. ogle You... ..yes you are so interesting or threatening to the government that they feel compelled to watch you all day, every day, constantly and a tech company is aiding them in violating a core principle of freedom; the right to privacy. A tech company is complicit in a tyranny against freedom and individuality while selling you knowledge? I hope Trump finds the courage to start hanging traitors because Google will be the greatest weapon against freedom ever created by man.     *There is not such a thing as democracy.     There is no such a thing as freedom.     There is no thing called capitalism.     America is a myth.* *

Some saying on individuality
If I ruled the world, I would be, Not a benevolent leader, nor, Would I be a tyrannical leader. I would be something much unexpected and, hopefully, humble. You see, I would be a quilt maker. Not of fabric and thread, though. I would stitch the different cultures together, leaving each individual one unique, yet united by a common thread. I would sit with my diplomatic needle and peaceful stitching and lead those whom hold contempt for one another see the other's perspective. I would show them that, The world isn't in black and white, It's in full, high-definition color. So let's celebrate unity, Equality, Individuality, And uniqueness. Because in the final chapter, We all already rule the world. It's up to us to thread ourselves to each other, Or pull ourselves apart by the seams.

Quilting (If I Ruled the World)
We’re all different A fact that some will take with stride And others will take out their black & white boxes Trying to cram you into margins that you’ll never fit into Labels Just another way to categorize us as objects Smashing our individuality with a hammer Until we are all identical, with no more identity Freedom Something we are considered lucky to have Where other countries struggle day by day Fighting to stay themselves Yet in our free country I still find myself fighting for liberation, Scratching at the cement surface For endless years Walking around, trying to be uniform It’s meant to make us comfortable, but makes me die inside We all walk in straight, marching band lines like militia members And walk on forever without a second thought Individuality A gift given to us all that we must cherish, hold onto Accept everyone around you for their good and bad habits Accept people for who they are, whether you like them or not One day, I will break free Run in the opposite direction With my arms spread out wide Feeling like Rosa Parks when she claimed her seat One day I will not be scared of my freedom One day I will not be scared of trying to explain to people who I am I will never be scared of friends I will never be scared of strangers I will never be scared of family Boys, girls, adults, parents, siblings One day I won’t be scared of myself anymore Scared of making the wrong decisions And letting everyone around me down The weights of expectations always make me hide in the shadows To where I feel I’ll never be good enough But today, I smile at all my obstacles With my mind set on “Dare To Be Dangerous” Because exploring everything around me Has been a roller coaster of joviality that I’ve always needed I’ve made new friends this year Gotten very close to others But I learned an important lesson I love who I am And I will come to accept the future me But for now I’m different And that’s all I ever wanted to be

From the ashes I descend, Rising among the flames, As shades of red. Orange and yellow, Blend within the explosion, Of my rebirth, Claiming my life force once more. My deep hazel eyes, Drenched in golden brown, Surrounded by a burst of jade, Speckled with dark green, Reveal my humility, Compassion and genuine kindness, Allowing you to behold, The window to my soul. The vessel, Containing my spirit, Conflicts with the feminine demeanor, Exposing sincerity, Comforting hands of a care-giver, The voice of loyalty, Gently escaping lips, Tears of empathy, Seeping with understanding, Kisses of affection, As soft spoken words, Depict desires, Hopes and the warmth, Of pure love. Mystery envelops my origin, Becoming a mystical being, With the ability to heal, The potential to inspire, Living proof of an alleged myth, Yielding in protection, As my plethora of feathers, Shield the individuals I adore, From darkness, Attempting to swallow the light, We yearn to discover. Blind Thoughts of denial, Shall forsake your eyes, If you pass judgment, Upon me, For my cloak of skin, Concealing my true beauty. As a Phoenix, I refuse to watch, The children of diversity, Suffer degradation, Living in fear of discrimination, Stifling the right to love another, To dress in garments, That correlate the body with the mind. I shall rage to cease, The hands of violence leaving bruises, Ignorance stripping, Breaths of air from a pair of lungs, As homophobia, Transphobia, and intolerance, Deplete individuality from a heart, Deserving liberty, The pursuit of happiness, A chance to survive. The Earth returns my soul, To reap the love, Concealed in assumptions, And sow acceptance into, The fields of society, As I continue, To soar into a cerulean sky.

I refuse to follow a trail where everyone else has Crushed their individuality firmly into the ground, Silenced their hopes and dreams so they no longer make a sound. You do what you please, but darling I'll blaze a trial so bright it'll dull the suns light And bring the trees to their knees.

the enormity of conformity
You know what? We live in a black and white society and I'm so proud of you, of all of you, for showing shades of red or blue or yellow or green or any other color that exists in this world. You make me smile a rainbow.

individuality
The Kingdom of Morocco has a rugged mountain interior which reminds me of the British meal of mince and potatoes. But hold that thought, and examine our seemingly superior Western legislation. Just like the pickle, the dynasty of death is a brazen festival percussionist who is celebratory in her bitter and gustatory inevitability. Jizyah is that taxation which is imposed upon those who fail to conform to those expected societal norms. Although we have the status quo, one cannot help but wonder what happened to the rectitudes of individuality and paradoxical equality? So, where do we go, oh navigator of the great and mighty West? Marrakech or Rabat? I have no concrete awareness of where solace is to be found. I am lost! Therefore, I can only offer the following direction: Contemplate the ever-changing intricacy of the dunes in anthropological amazement and acknowledge the sky at night. Allow the celestial pole of the North Star to speak to your deep uncertainty. Our purpose is openly displayed if we simply open our heart in the midst of our Bedouin oasis. That, my friend, is the essence of being psychosocial.

Arabian Spiritual Biodiversity
Out of what our hearts are made, The sea of stars above our little heads is widely spread, expanded, The river of the milkyway, seperating two lovers, with more stars, All come within a clear, manifest orbit, bound to gravity and bounty, A vally of natural nuclear fusion reactors, spreading light through the dark of the night, a play of beauty and might, on the ceiling of Earth, All shining uninterruptedly, without the intruding light of the moon, In the world of empty dreams, waiting to be filled with memories, Clusters, binary, trinary stars with their satelites, dance as celestial beings through the infinity of space, all with grace, individuality, bliss Heartfelt, past the luxury of luminosity and spinning alike wage wool Because stars are, a magic mirror to the things we are, or want to be, Weave the fate that you want to feel free, broken loose from the lies, It is best to dance with me on these fantastic grounds here with me, If we gather in a dark night, my dear knight, we can grasp fantasy, Dear trasure mine, you're, a distant eniment galactic heavenly beauty So shine on until you someday let go of this worldly life, my dearest, As then I would like to meet you in the realm of the dead again, In the loitering darkness one day. ~ Umi

They put red tape over lifes speaker. All that is real is now lost. They try to supress you, Replace all you are with lies. They want to make you all one being. They fear the rise of a greater power. They fear freedom and individuality fore it is the birthplace for rebellion. The brainchild of longevity. They hollow out your mind, Make you numb inside. So raise your voice, Burn the tape. Life is calling, Shout out in reply!

Oppression
Insanity you speak as if it makes people impaired; What a world we live in where people take another persons thoughts and creativity and push them aside because they see insanity in their eyes; Insanity, I think of it as a creativity within me; Insanity resides inside of everybody at the back of their minds; Running from your thoughts? Why hide from the beautiful individuality in your mind. Shut down the people who hide from the artist inside; I know you may think there is nothing to hide but i see inventiveness behind your eyes; If people think your creativity sounds insane then do the world a favor and curse their name.

My sexuality is that 1990's ice cream flavor Lost to time, but something I no longer seek to savor My *** is that 1777 font Pretty to look at, but nothing I want My sexuality is found in the not-places, of memory My sexuality is not *** and is not celibacy My sexuality is defined by my individuality My sexuality is not a catalyst for my morality My sexuality is my not-sex My sexuality is not-ever as opposed to not-yet My sexuality means My sexuality is mine

The evolution of art never halts Once we began dancing around fire Our feet couldn't stop A place in our lives Where our subpar seeds Could be seen as glowing trees That's the way I feel about my poetry It reminds me a lot of me I reread it and rewrite it so often By the end it seems unoriginal and plain And all I can hope Is the themes and ideas that were the inspirational genesis Remain intact Art walks a tightrope over the most unpredictable factor The audience They are the other half of art Their power cannot be overstated And as time progresses Their power grows And the importance of art always extends an equal distance But the stronger art becomes The more it asks of it's audience In many cases The audience is not ready to take the call This is one of those times Here at the current pinnacle of art Surfing the web A wonderful chance as Art is a reflection of people and society The Internet is people and society But just as we listen to songs To decide what concert to go to Or watch trailers To decide what movie to see We like what we like And put blinders on to find it Like moths to fire We could do amazing things If we could harness the potential Of our collective conscious But the threat of losing our individuality Is too great for us Unable to accept Our individuality is always in the context of our cosmic existence We are part of something greater And we can't escape that Even in death We feed what lies beneath The memory of our lives Shrinks to obscurity The maggots that cover our corpses Flourish to maturity Everything this world creates is art And we are it's most complex creation Not necessarily the best We just have the most parts And the maggots that use our dead bodies for sustenance Were once the monsters that roamed this Earth They had no nationality Or political affiliations Or religion And they're still here Waiting to reclaim their throne Once "smarter" species seek suicide

Dear Brianna Evelyn Heins, Stop Spanx sitting me, I’m old enough to take shape of my own. Sincerely, You’re Hips P.S. Stop convincing the lips to call me flab-u-lous! I have my own name. Stop knocking the knuckles to bone To hear that hollow hound sound, now don’t use me in your measurement references, I want to live a day Without spinning round the bouncy bands of your operation game I’ve seen tweezers fall out of your eyes, to plummet under my moon shone complexion Please keep in mind the brain is a liar. And well, I have no twins; your pessimistic ways don’t acknowledge my individuality The color of shame is not moving, while your red majestic beast hair torturously tickles my clear space of face. Brianna, The brain is a liar! I know you are told you’re observant; The deception is grand Stop pretending you know me Let me dance dizzy with the calves Like coming out of the closet I’m showing you I’ll never be straight but brains whisper “weep, weep, weepweepweep” at the sight of the salt soaked, taffy stretched skin the brain sends me signals, but I beg for the heart to seep in Please listen up rarely do I talk, for you think words are merely a sound but the profoundness hasn’t shaken I know you must feel my urges like I’m on tonight and my hips don’t lie beauty may lay in the fragile way I sway said I’m below But to hell with you because this bridge can be crossed but embers fly in you eyes and the brain is a liar a family member I wholeheartedly despise.

I rest upon the windowsill of life’s great expectations Watching as the world spins by so fast Not blinded by all the well established estimations The world brings into our vision from the past Curiosity and depth of soul have made me who I am Proudly resting in my own individuality Watching with no expectations from the windowsill of life Freely existing in my own personality Who you are and what you do is of great interest to my soul Yet I have no expectations of you my friend I am so very happy to watch you from the windowsill of life Free to be the individual you hold within If you will come and sit beside me and rest upon life’s windowsill We will watch together as the world spins by so fast Just accept me as I am and I will do the same for you Such a splendid friendship we will have

No Expectations
What makes one man superior to another? Born at different times. Birthed by different people. Forged in different habitats. Formed by different education. The men are different in every sense, Yet they are compared by the same bar. Truly, a man should only measure himself, Against who he was yesterday.

Individuality.
Day by day I fritter away Observing decorum as best I may Meet me as you meet — reserved somebody Leave me as you leave — dull nobody Dreary, weary, listless, spiritless A resting spirit clamours to emerge Unguided, wild, free and seeking Boldly defying reserved somebody But how, just how do I unleash this defiant spirit For it is to cross all conceivable limits Oh but a mask, of course a mask! The perfect accessory for this task! Careless of propriety Boastful of daring Acting against my will Or in tandem with it? This mask — just now I can't discern Ponder I do with great concern Does it shield my identity Or render truth to it? So now just what fun in masks One may ponderously ask Masks, bring to life fantasy Fantasy, a realm of our reality Reality, wherein lies multiplicity Multiplicity, within each individuality
