MELANIN BEAUTY She was adorable in her coffee tinted skin Her beauty as rare as the clustering of dragonflies Amazing to look upon like the gathering of butterflies Through her eyes stars felt closer than ever Her lips was as beautiful as the opening of petals My heart paused when our eyes came in contact I felt like i have seen the queen of all that is beautiful The envy of every woman there is to be She was thin tall and adorned in elegance Endowed with charisma of an Ethiopian princess Her smile was first born Her beauty always suffocated the crowd   All i could see was the wonder of her skin I have fallen under the spell of this black queen She was a fragile treasure, the elixir of beauty She sparkled like she was kissed by the morning sun She was never satisfied with her perfection Trying to fix what GOD has personally certified Denting you to wear a skin that isn’t yours Like sharp sand i watched her beauty sink rapidly She was deep rooted in self-doubt of her skin pigment Not knowing the magnificence of her existence She never knew she was a gush of glamour Glorious to behold and graced with melanin Gradually she became high on inferiority complex She became lost in a world she was created to own Your beautiful brown body is a work of art Dipped in black gold and coated with brown sugar You define an indestructible uniqueness Your black skin is a badge of superiority Black is magical and above comparison Black complexion is the new religion .

MELANIN BEAUTY
you dwell in my sight like yesterdays your voice is a melody upon my mind your gaze snows upon my heart melting me each moment is your warmth, so unknown rather forgotten i had turned into a rock long back you swell in my heart like a dear wish your smile streams in my blood like some drug your touch still tickles deep into my skin freezing me every once in a while are your memories, so indestructible in form i had no refuge to survive by, otherwise

"silence is worse; all truths that are kept silent become poisonous.”friedrich nietzsche like poking the hornet's nest with a stick, you are a rose with stems and thorns so thick, your skin is protection from oppression, keeping the world out of your private channels like i'm AM and you're FM all of which are static with distorted voices only science can pry through your enigmatic cacophony on a molecular level, and any evidence of who you are, i couldn't find with years of knowledge, a indestructible ship could speak more evidence about why it was annihilated, obliterated, disintegrated under the ocean for months at a time without any current survivors, and the last person i could be described as would be Sherlock Holmes every detail washes over my head like a flood of details that can't enter because a force field surround my head like it's a crown being so clueless, but it feels like i'm wearing a dunce hat and maybe i do realize that there will be a position where you will be put out into light there is no way out of your mind, like a schizophrenic, if kryptonite killed superman, can it **** the infectious virus spreading like wildfire through these veins, can you stop worrying about when you will finally break down and open up to someone? **** - kra

Comic relief can’t numb the pain within. An indestructible toilet stands alone. That lonely toilet made of white porcelain, Is all that’s left of some poor man’s home.

Indestructible Toilet
3 days ago I cried for the first time in 5 months. I felt a drop or two, as my body heaved in pain and desperation. I thought I forgot how to cry. I thought that I had the ability to be stronger than that Or that the veins that constricted my deamons Were indestructible. I was wrong. I can cry And I can feel But the feelings haven't changed from then I feel weak. I want my strength back I don't want a constant tug at the back of my throat. I broke. I want to be fixed.

Crying
It was sweet light and fast. However, the feeling will always last. It sent bolts of lightening down my spine, And sparks of electricity through my soul. A gust of wind across my mind, And a bond that seemed indestructible. That feeling of perfection. That feeling of protection Making my head spin in all directions. How could such complexity come from such a light touch? It seemed so safe So innocent So lovely However, it meant so much more. For this light connection opened doors. This little joke, a small playful score. How did it turn to something so magical? It was light as a feather Soft as a cloud Sweet as candy And addictive like a drug This small connection could only be a kiss A true kiss; That wakes a princess from her sleep, Turns a toad into a prince. A kiss that happens in dreams In fairy tales And fantasies However, it was real. It was my first real fairy tale kiss.

My first kiss
That dark Dweller in Braj Is my only refuge. O my companion, Worldly comfort is an illusion, As soon you get it, it goes. I have chosen the Indestructible for my refuge, Him whom the snake of death Will not devour. My Beloved dwells in my heart, I have actually seen that Abode of Joy. Mira's Lord is Hari, the Indestructible. My Lord, I have taken refuge with Thee, Thy slave.

That dark Dweller in Braj
Rainy days... Calls for the fallen ones United They collapse into tears Rainy days... Makes it colder than most Frozen They hold themselves close Rainy days... Summons the darkest creatures Heartless They start to feed on your fears Rainy days... Silences the loudest cries Breathless They begin to celebrate in the fire *On rainy days Leave the beaten aside Allow them to crash Promise them their space Because once they rise from the fallen droplets They will stay And they will be indestructible...*

On Rainy Days
****** A symbol of denial, congeniality, and assurance of love; the fate of maternity, motherhood, that is witnessed and cherished from afar. From a sacred little haven; from a struggle of motherly defense. O ****** Temptations are to you never a bother, in the tempests of lush dreams, the draining of purity, and veritable sensations. Steadiness is your notion; it barely leaves your mind you may be deeply hurt but never hurt, you may be a stranger but your grace is your power. Truth that is unpardonable, veraciousness at my simplest words, clarity that is gleaming in your eye, a token of pleasure but indestructible affection; adorable as you are, serenity is beyond question; dreams are but inseparable from your docile life. O ****** the sweetness and gentleness of thy eyes are my irreplaceable silence, my appraised soul, and my most resolute and irrepressible invocation. O ****** one that is so rare a rose Many as in the May-day dance are tainted; marks of annoyance, omens of indulgence. With hunger for nothing but moans; unsober groans, and quickening breaths in paces of outward satisfaction; intoxicated desires but unloving movements; on the grounds for endless dancing; there is the thirst for grips, the grossest of stateliness! Voluptuous romance, perfidious touches, and false-hearted toys! In the wakeful dreams of which I long for you, a handful of thy chastest kisses! I pray for your hands, so delicate as mine, how they shall fit into each other! I long for your lips, your spotless, uncorrupted cheeks, My demand is for your hands; for sanity, and sincerest cordiality Despite of my guilt and former unconsciousness I shall amend my grief for you, for you only, for oureth perfect, unconquerable happiness, and the union of our souls in a day of holy matrimony.

She sat beside me in a cloud of smoke, Ash falling to my knees like a tree that just gave up on standing straight And finally lay its head on the ground. I am tired of feeling rooted in an earth I no longer believe in; Tired of climbing trees to defy gravity and I know I can't win. Not this fight, nor the next, or even a game of poker as my lips Just can't stand being straight. I am that fallen tree and sometimes I forget to breathe, Leaving each breath like my car keys you tell me I don't need. Who needs the earth when I have you landscaped before me? These foundations are ours and you build me these walls Just so I can knock them down. I'm destructive like that, we are indestructible like that So lets take a page from my book and draw ourselves a map Right to this moment in time, Where I whisper *"I've fallen for the girl, and you know what? It's fine."*

Spoken word- trees
you look into his eyes and only see brown. you laugh and joke about how this makes him “full of **** but, when i look into his eyes, i see so much more. this boy has been hurt, hurt by so many people. tears hide back behind because if he ever showed anyone his emotions, he’d be ridiculed. this boy is sad. he’s lives a life that he doesn’t want to live, but pretends that he is in control. this boy is not what everybody thinks. when i first met him i was intimidated. he gives off a vibe that he is indestructible. get to know him. you will see what i mean. i’ve comforted this boy while he cried, which i’ve only seen once. i’ve been by his side for everything, through hell and back. this boy has so much pain, so much sadness, so much agony. but he also has so much love. he just doesn’t know what to do with it.

Lovers are fools. Words like "forever" and "always" Dance across their lips Hidden scribbles on notebook pages. Lovers are fools. Candles and rose petals Cloud a room full Of expectation and uncertainty. Lovers are fools. Blind, deaf, mute And shrouded in moonbeams, Unable to face the reality of the world. Foolish lovers, Open your eyes For you will  f a l l  if you do not watch where you leap. Foolish lovers, How can you stop the time tables, Step off the life-carousel - Racing horses frozen in mid-air And twinkle-light music driven to utter silence? Foolish lovers, Teach me how to use my fragile love As an indestructible armor Against the lightening bolts and ice storms, Apocalypse and crop circle fears. Lovers are fools. She loves me all up, So if being one with her means Being a fool… I say,                       Bring it on.

Fools
Rock this boat with your weight, sink us to the ocean ground, the emotional baggage was too much, we took on one to many pounds. So as we sink down let us remember, how we were so light once, flying through the sky, now I am your dunce, and we say goodbye. But while you continue to sink I must let go, like that cheesy moment with Leo DiCaprio. Because this isn't the titanic, we were not as beautifully indestructible, so no need to panic, this should have been predictable.

O my mind, Worship the lotus feet of the Indestructible One! Whatever thou seest twixt earth and sky Will perish. Why undertake fasts and pilgrimages? Why engage in philosophical discussions? Why commit suicide in Banaras? Take no pride in the body, It will soon be mingling with the dust. This life is like the sporting of sparrows, It will end with the onset of night. Why don the ochre robe And leave Home as a sannyasi? Those who adopt the external garb of a Jogi, But do not penetrate to the secret, Are caught again in the net of rebirth. Mira's Lord is the courtly Giridhara. Deign to sever, O Master. All the knots in her heart.

O my mind
1. Quite far you are, know not where, time and space remain fused, But, our love is still a wild flower, that takes new avatars Fully bloomed, defies sun and rain, other vagaries of seasons, This love is beyond the thrills of flesh, not even nocturnal togetherness. To plant a kiss of love on your lips, the wind will be my messenger, With a gentle caresses  you will be reminded how my lips felt on yours, In reciprocation, with your scent wind would envelop me on return. 2. Our love has faced many harsh climes, still we persisted, Fallen down and walked again limping, long distances, Our love has martyr's blood  running through veins, still brave, sings The song we loved, not together, a new light our love had found. Beyond the point of togetherness, love is indestructible, defying logic. 3. My flesh and blood would wither away, yours too have the same fate, Your beating heart and mine, one day will embrace stillness. Love has to live beyond the tunes of heart beats and our lives. In wind and water, earth and fire, all over the vastness of space, Millions would come together,in life, in death, sing love's paeans

Valentine's day promises beyond the limits of time
we are not a fairy tale and we never were our hands don't automatically find one another's and we don't kiss in the rain or plan our futures together under night stars our kisses are sloppy and we aren't lip-locked every two seconds i don't steal his sweatshirts and fall asleep in them or take silly pictures with him while kissing his face but we never fail to say "i love you" each day and make sure we mean it every time it's said we do what we can for one another and i always tell him what i adore about him whether it be in stanzas or hushed whispers against his chest in our numerous embraces because love isn't meant to have a stereotype and the things you see bound in paperbacks are teeming with seemingly indestructible souls but we are fragile creatures and love is a fragile flower that must be tended to daily we are not a fairy tale and we never were but we're crafting our own story to tell one sloppy kiss and one "i love you" at a time.

fairy tales
Death has no prejudices. No favorites. It doesn’t care if you’re young or old, rich or poor. Death is inevitable, whether or not you’re ready for it. But once you're dead, what's it like? It’s like you’re never really in one place, rather everywhere all at once. Like your conscience has been sprinkled throughout the world like grains of sand and your breath is part of the wind. Your voice is now the rustling of the trees and your blood is rushing water in the rivers. You’re no longer confined to a vessel and you feel like you’ve never actually felt completely free until now. Your energy that was manifested in your body is now recycled back into Earth. There’s an immense sense of belonging and contentment, like you’re comfortably numb. There is no sense of time. The years, days, hours, minutes, seconds; mean nothing. When you’re young, you feel indestructible. You feel immortal. There’s always a tomorrow because the sun is promised to rise the next day. It’s hard to imagine a day that you won’t exist anymore. It’s easy to take things for granted. Sometimes it’s hard for people to realize how fragile human beings really are. It doesn’t take much for our soul to be ripped from our bodies. Not much at all.

Death Isn't Scary
I cannot sleep, thinking: I cannot give you short, bittersweet, sad, delighting, whimsical love poems. I can give you short, bittersweet, sad, delighting, whimsical life poems. In cold, rushing spring and river waters, ash and water-borne soil mix. A voyage endless. We too, our voyage. Endless. End less. Examine the crevices and ravines that are the map of your hands. Your voyage's log, memory storage. Indestructible. In the clouds's moisture, ever recycling, it is all kept, stored. Your hands well recall the very first caress, the softness of the baby skin, the sweet of the lips, thirty some long years after. Dare to dispute? The original animus, the anima and the persona combination the byproduct of blood and tissue, some call spirit, some call soul, is matter that cannot be destroyed, nor created. It only voyages on, the conservation of mass, our body, our enlivement, our spark. In cold, rushing spring and river waters, ash and water-borne soil admix. From this natural brew, renewal. The voyage is the resurrection Life ever after. Life even before. Life for ever lasting. Our voyage is without destination. Our voyage is our destination. Our voyage is our resurrection. Endless. Perpetual. Eternal. 5:46 AM

This Voyage, This Resurrection
Classroom Discussion Raucous noise vibrates across The surface of my ear Not daring to enter and disrupt The train of thought That processes as a machine Turning, creating, assembling The wheel of thought spinning round the axle -------A **** on the rope, a pull on the subconscious The pulley recognizes the intrusion of an applied force The wheels halt, as if rust jeopardizes its advance. The thoughts scatter, a snapped electrical wire snaking in shock; a cooper waving current racing back to a reality through black rubber nerves. The noise registers, confirming the split of a once continuous wire Insignificant words- not quite processing, failing to relay information, refusing to form a sentence, still trapped in a realm of limbo wanting to return to the rhythm of a reverie. Slipping, falling the mind surrenders, the electricity dies. Materializing in a classroom The cage for intellectual minds Discussing about. From one world to another - act, adapt The bright scientific lights burn The eyes of the dreamer Who creates from the dark, Objects exposed, judged, determined. No place for the dreamer, who loves warping reality. Within the metal box this reality is set. Bars on the window, an indestructible verticality Plastic seats, beige, blue, cold Sit this way, look up, right, like that. You are my animals now speak, raise a hand, perform a trick, tell me what I want to hear, Speak my language of intelligence, be my machine.

A moment holds Time eternity A life is moment stretched Trying to define and set boundaries We are just travelling through eternity So many episodes and memories As our consciousness allows us to hold Events, stirring the still waters inside Our body just an encasing for the soul Soul is indestructible, for it is eternal Not bounded by the chains of expectations Rises above all, to meet the cosmos settlers Mutual handshake with the eternal Truth We are on a journey, travelers within Earth Our destination, is eternity, beyond time and space It’s one big dome, where we all are audience Once we have traveled through Life Waiting for the extravaganza to begin Where we do not judge and compare As we are all the parts of the same Choate
