I get accused of a lot of things at first glance "You're simplistic, you're hiding something You have no convictions, you don't think deeply" Usually by those who I consider to be on intellectual crutches If you're gonna come up to talk to me from a religious context from a spiritual context from a hierarchical, metaphysical, eat this **** popsicle mindset Don't expect me to swallow Don't expect me to talk You won't like what I have to say Because really you just want me to agree with you If you want me to respect your framework When you have nothing but the claims of quacks and the feelings you gleaned from your last psychedelic trip to back you up While I have to sit back and listen to how I'm close minded Close minded for wanting some real truth in this universe unfiltered, raw, verifiable, and in my hand and that anything other than that is a spray paint over my true awakening Then I guess I'll just have to be that ******* to die for these intellectual sins The Eldest Son of Matt, hater of pretense Hypocrite to the highest level Build me up into a figure of idolatry Just like you do with the rest of your ego cases Priests, Gurus, Rabbis, Rockstars, Poet sensations Tell me how wonderful it is to listen to them Tell me how I should be more in touch with a tree Tell me how I don't dream When all my life is but that Tell me how I'm not deep when you make no attempt to learn Who I am, and where I have come from Misinterpret my teachings, and claim me to feel As if I was the newest son of god When all I want is for people to get beyond blinders and love each other, and to get beyond the metaphysical rat race Tell me that I'm supposed to live and let live While you jam your beliefs down my throat and expect me to respect getting philosophically tea bagged Tied up to the crucifix and asking me to repent for my search for truth

1219 Now I knew I lost her— Not that she was gone— But Remoteness travelled On her Face and Tongue. Alien, though adjoining As a Foreign Race— Traversed she though pausing Latitudeless Place. Elements Unaltered— Universe the same But Love’s transmigration— Somehow this had come— Henceforth to remember Nature took the Day I had paid so much for— His is Penury Not who toils for Freedom Or for Family But the Restitution Of Idolatry.

Now I knew I lost her—
O might those sighs and tears return again Into my breast and eyes, which I have spent, That I might in this holy discontent Mourn with some fruit, as I have mourned in vain; In mine Idolatry what showers of rain Mine eyes did waste! what griefs my heart did rent! That sufferance was my sin; now I repent; ‘Cause I did suffer I must suffer pain. Th’ hydropic drunkard, and night-scouting thief, The itchy lecher, and self-tickling proud Have the remembrance of past joys for relief Of comming ills. To (poor) me is allowed No ease; for long, yet vehement grief hath been Th’ effect and cause, the punishment and sin.

Holy Sonnet III: O Might Those Sighs And Tears Return Again
Let not my love be called idolatry, Nor my belovèd as an idol show, Since all alike my songs and praises be To one, of one, still such, and ever so. Kind is my love today, tomorrow kind, Still constant in a wondrous excellence; Therefore my verse to constancy confined, One thing expressing, leaves out difference. “Fair, kind, and true” is all my argument, “Fair, kind, and true” varying to other words; And in this change is my invention spent, Three themes in one, which wondrous scope affords. Fair, kind, and true, have often lived alone. Which three till now never kept seat in one.

Within each and every one of us is a unique culture: Ethnocentrism reaches just as far inward as it does outward: Just because academia has imposed it's own fascist, totalitarian, absolute definitions does not mean that it has final say: i postulate such adacemic-fetishism is merely a byproduct of propaganda pushed by Big Money rather than a genuine insitution of respectable edification: that is i see it as a mere appeal to authority; a well-known logical fallacy to those who are in the know. Tread lightly. Modern Academics seems to be yet another corrupt branch of Business; little more. Academic achievement is not equivocal to intellectual worth: a graduate's degree is moreso a status symbol than it is a credential anymore. 'T'is vile idolatry in lieu of an individual's personal philosophy; that's not to say it's absolutely worthless, but it may as well be in today's job market (unless it's a business degree!) Then again, that's just my opinion. i guess i oughtta shut up before Edu-nazis shut me down. Oops, did i type that out loud? I'm so sorry, you see, vhat i meant to say vas: Heil Stanford! Heil Harvord! Heil Berkley! Heil vhat i am told zu heil! Heil zhe publishing companies! Heil zhe holders of student loans! Heil egredious student debt in lieu of philosophical discourse, let alone progress! Heil vhat i see on TV! Heil ******* Heil alkohol! Heil gasoline! Do not qvestion zhe dogma; go back zu sleep, you sheep!

Ethnocentrism [Education]
you say i trust to equal those in the past whom have brought only pain and hatred upon those in their wake? well it's time to take a look in the mirror my friend, no, wait, don't do that, i wouldn't want to inflate your ego it would come as no surprise to me if in that mirror you would only see the eighth wonder of the world, ever wondered if you could see the world? i take that back, there is no sense in snapping and losing my temper, but all i'm doing is back tracking and finding my self exempt of the respect that i deserve, only you can serve to notice the pain that you have harboured upon the empty hearts of which now yearn for that ever self-loving and i can only leave you with this advice turn around and back off that ain't love it's idolatry.

Ego
False gods have to ask to be worshipped, You never had to. Maybe it’s proof or maybe you were asking in the way you cried, Gentle and feminine even at your lowest. You’ll say you never wanted the offerings but isn’t acceptance a kind of encouragement? I knelt before you and prayed that I’d find the strength to put my hands around your throat and finally end it but I never found the strength. I wanted to love you, I swear I did, but the harder I tried the louder I cheered for your undoing. When it came I wasn’t ready. I knew my idols were false but I wasn’t ready for the fire. Now I make my idols my friends, for if they weren’t, I’d have them dead.

Idolatry
That fella to seemingly false gods Giveth his entire devotion, worshipping Carved and graven images and idols Instead of the Lord Almighty in heaven. Even the witches in their chosen coven And Satan himself are to God bowing. Idolatry filleth God's heart with sorrow Like adultery bringeth to a home woe.

Idolatry Is as Adultery
Dear Heart, I think the young impassioned priest When first he takes from out the hidden shrine His God imprisoned in the Eucharist, And eats the bread, and drinks the dreadful wine, Feels not such awful wonder as I felt When first my smitten eyes beat full on thee, And all night long before thy feet I knelt Till thou wert wearied of Idolatry. Ah! hadst thou liked me less and loved me more, Through all those summer days of joy and rain, I had not now been sorrow’s heritor, Or stood a lackey in the House of Pain. Yet, though remorse, youth’s white-faced seneschal, Tread on my heels with all his retinue, I am most glad I loved thee—think of all The suns that go to make one speedwell blue!

I searched for God among the Christians and on the Cross and therein I found Him not. I went into the ancient temples of idolatry; no trace of Him was there. I entered the mountain cave of Hira and then went as far as Qandhar but God I found not. With set purpose I fared to the summit of Mount Caucasus and found there only 'anqa's habitation. Then I directed my search to the Kaaba, the resort of old and young; God was not there even. Turning to philosophy I inquired about him from ibn Sina but found Him not within his range. I fared then to the scene of the Prophet's experience of a great divine manifestation only a "two bow-lengths' distance from him" but God was not there even in that exalted court. Finally, I looked into my own heart and there I saw Him; He was nowhere else. But In my heart . Writer : Jalaludin rumi

O Friend! I know not which way I must look For comfort, being, as I am, opprest, To think that now our life is only drest For show; mean handy-work of craftsman, cook, Or groom!—We must run glittering like a brook In the open sunshine, or we are unblest: The wealthiest man among us is the best: No grandeur now in nature or in book Delights us. Rapine, avarice, expense, This is idolatry; and these we adore: Plain living and high thinking are no more: The homely beauty of the good old cause Is gone; our peace, our fearful innocence, And pure religion breathing household laws.

The conjugate of idolatry, The alchemy of flame, The Astarte of pure harlotry- And nomenclature'd name. The lode-stone of sly coquetry, The compass-stone of hearth, The balanced stoichiometry- Broken waters of birth. The Vestal of impurity, The perfidy of shame- My blood in you runs truer red; This craving never tames.

Trump and Brexit, Two beautiful scrolls in a sync Singing a song of white nationalism On the crest in the Ivy League station, Busy Muffling the **** drop sounds On the bowls of foot-loose beggars, A lesson for you dark son of Africa That tomfoolery is no defense before The rational altar of Trump and Brexit Riding on followership’s bitter hangover For the Nostalgia of the waning glory, Sired by Machiavelli, groomed by ****** Festooned by Mussolini into a Jim Crow tor, But fault not them, that is politics or religion, Always sweet only in full gear of power-piety, Then Nurture your tiny ***** for no pawn earns it, To pile your wood for pharaonic winter is obvious In paranoia of Brexit and Trumpish megalomania Coming in a stampede with Tigre’s thorax, only To worry us for nothing as it is the fear of change Truly, they are not the first clouds in the sky Of global terror and politics of self-idolatry, Soon to vamoose in service to their nature Of aureate appearing to whimpering fade,

TRUMP AND BREXIT
What if this present were the world’s last night? Mark in my heart, O soul, where thou dost dwell, The picture of Christ crucified, and tell Whether that countenance can thee affright, Tears in his eyes quench the amazing light, Blood fills his frowns, which from his pierced head fell. And can that tongue adjudge thee unto hell, Which prayed forgiveness for his foes’ fierce spite? No, no; but as in my idolatry I said to all my profane mistresses, Beauty, of pity, foulness only is A sign of rigour: so I say to thee, To wicked spirits are horrid shapes assigned, This beauteous form assures a piteous mind.

You constituted Time
The flesh lusts daily against the Spirit and the Spirit wars contrary to the flesh. The opposing tenets of grace and iniquity can never with each other… completely mesh. For the redeemed sinners operate by grace, while the practitioners of unrighteousness prefer the dark, ungodly ways of wickedness and will not inherit the Kingdom’s fullness. Fleshly works are clearly evident: adultery, fornication, idolatry, sorcery, uncleanness, contentions, jealousies, ****** immorality, hatred, envy, revelries and evil-mindedness. Fruits of the sinful flesh are plain to see and spirits cringe- at their being mentioned. Can we expect others to pursue God’s holiness, when people are upset- from being questioned? For we live under God’s grace and not His Law; His righteous wrath will be eventually revealed. Acceptance of His gift of Salvation can insure… that our lives will have been redeemed and sealed! . . . Poem: Pursuit of Holiness
The word I don’t like is "independent" In this vast universe everything is " interdependent" There is no scope for vanity Even for the richest man in the Vatican city For our shirt we need a button And a sick man may need mutton To get our shoes mended, we need a cobbler If we go to hotel, we want a server The church needs a preacher A mosque needs a prayer The temple needs a priest And the depressed soul Jesus Christ For our travel we need a bus And for our livelihood a money purse A scientist needs laboratory A politician wants idolatry The list is endless Nothing is useless The tiniest thing like a pin has its utility None should over estimate their priority

INDEPENDENT OR INTER-DEPENDENT?
There inside the chamber sits, Awaiting patiently; Gathering discourse and their wits, To match with Chimpanzee. Primate statues loom the loft, ‘Mongst whitening Baboons; Fidget in their seats too soft, Indifferent of this room. For ghosts of former nobles peek, In shame, as they observe; The power of the abject weak, Enable them to serve. Parrots cackling ‘mongst themselves, As peacocks flaunt their fan; Gorilla preens, while tries to quell, With gavel in his hand. Chimp arises, intently poised, To embellish his appointment; Words rehearsed to fill the void, Deliberate and pointed. For he, and only he, shall reign, While rendering his will Upon the reaches, lakes and plains; ‘Pon feather, fur and gill. Yet irony betrays this horde, Of chosen beasts that thrive, Who seek to witness own accord, On who should live or die. Baboons and the Chimpanzee, May climb to endless heights, Gather fruit from tops of trees, And relish in their might; But those who scrounge upon the ground, Or forage in the sea, Cannot relate to this debate, Nor self-idolatry. So this becomes an exercise, In futile words exchanged; In bartering the truth for lies, Leaves jungle quite estranged. Such is then, the sacrifice, That satisfies this troop: Lions shall compete with mice, For homeland and for food. This seems just, this seems right, So pleased to then arrive, To alter former terms of plight, Ensure the like survive. Commune must have order, Compliance is then deemed; Life must have its borders, Confining self-esteem. Parrots flee to bring the news, Of brighter days ahead; While creatures of the air and blue, Fear the distance spread. Content to reconvene again, As this is their employ; Govern those outside the pen, Such honor they enjoy.

It is vice versus virtue, in vindictive victories, laden in vanity, as venial villainy, intervenes in the memes of the idolatry, that dauntingly hangs from branch-less trees, vetted out, and stripped by thieves, as only on our knees we breathe, in peace.

Idolatry
Had I ador'd the multitude, and thence Got an antipathy to wit and sence, And hug'd that fate, in hope the world would grant 'Twas good -- affection to be ignorant; Yet the least ray of thy bright fancy seen I had converted, or excuseless been: For each birth of thy muse to after-times Shall expatiate for all this age's crimes. First shines the Armoret, twice crown'd by thee, Once by they Love, next by Poetry; Where thou the best of Unions dost dispence: Truth cloth'd in wit, and Love in innocence. So that the muddyest Lovers may learn here, No fountains can be sweet that are not clear. Then Juvenall reviv'd by thee declares How flat man's Joys are, and how mean his cares; And generously upbraids the world that they Should such a value for their ruine pay. But when thy sacred muse diverts her quill, The Lantskip to design of Zion-Hill;32 As nothing else was worthy her or thee, So we admire almost t'Idolatry. What savage brest would not be rapt to find Such Jewells insuch Cabinets enshrind'? Thou (fill'd with joys too great to see or count) Descend'st from thence like Moses from the Mount, And with a candid, yet unquestioned aw, Restorlst the Golden Age when Verse was Law. Instructing us, thou so secur'st thy fame, That nothing can distrub it but my name; Nay I have hoped that standing so near thine 'Twill lose its drosse, and by degrees refine ... "Live, till the disabused world consent All truths of use, or strength, or ornament, Are with such harmony by thee displaid, As the whole world was first by number made And from the charming rigour thy Muse brings Learn there's no pleasure but in serious things.
