When good bye just isn't enough
When biting your lip gets tough

So delightful in the words we choose
Thank you for sharing, that's really good news

Even though I'd like to stay in touch
Sometimes goodbye just isn't enough.
Patience to be Written makes your Hallmark great
There is a Reason why your Pinnacle Shines
For Eight Years my Trek to Romance, debate
Lands on this Heart-Store where She would be mine
You, the Good Luthor, a Genious at that
Wrote the Novel which many Hearts consign
No need for Feathers, Leather, Pen or Hat
This Shop is your Notebook; Your Magnum Design
A fitting Homage to Love's Best Element
Where Hopeful Couples brew their Best Story
Succeed, then many leave your Doors, content
Ready to return for one more Glory.
That Arrow still stings like your Love's First Bite
This Hope I savour to Grow Up in-spite.

Sparkling Sister, pluck me those Eagle's Wings
And with my Claws I gouge my Pearls four-fold
Two Smiling Clowns, oft their Faces must Sing
From that Oracle you Guys take to uphold
He was Smart to cower under his Watch,
I refer to the Brother whose Bell he hid
The Capital's Hallmark whose Spy did match
With Gruning Deception he took to bid
Quite a Character, am I? That you must know
To carry a Mirror when you're with Her
And on each Night when both share a Pillow
To check your Scents before the Neighbours stir.
Cassanova, be the Hero of this Theme
Such Salted Face can turn my own so Green.

O! this night from I to you, my valentine!
Come walk through candles and swim in my wine!
The candles that flicker while through me they stare,
With wine so potent as the red lips you wear.
Let the young rose bloom open as I to you;
Let it blush brightly as I do to you.
And let your fingers be the strings I strum,
When this day of love’s obligation comes.

But as we both know, although may not agree;
You’ll keep in mind wine leaves behind agony,
While petals blossom then slip from their host
Like candles extinguished and melted to ghosts.
So if those superficial words should pass
For passion then darling, let loose your tears, alas!
For t’was not some force of love I had for you;
Rather the Hallmark sign that told me to.

If you date a poet, you will know the true meaning of 'swoon' and you will do it often. They know the power of a stunning phrase and it's way hotter than the Hallmark lines a non-poet will default to.

2.  They see the raw beauty in things that others take for granted.

3.  You will never ever need to worry that they aren't telling you something. Poets are ALWAYS trying to tell you something.

4. They're quite handy if you need a graceful way to tell someone off. They can tell em where to go and how far to stick it without using a single foul word.

5. Roses are pretty sub-standard and typical. Instead, you will get hand written love letters and sticky notes with one line *****-wetters. (Yes, I said *****-wetters. You know what it is.)

6. You will never not know the deeper meaning of something. Anything. There is nothing at all that a poet cannot analyze the **** out of. There's an underlying meaning behind EVERY single thing and if you ask a poet, they'll be elated to share it with you.

7. Poets tend to be minimalists. They don't always need a lot to set the butterflies a flutter. If you can come up with a couple of your own expressively charming lines, that will pretty much substitute a $125 dinner date.

8. Poets make curiously good alcoholic beverages. Because poets drink a lot of alcoholic beverages.

9. You'll never be without somewhere to go at any given moment. There's bound to be an open mic night, a poetry slam, a house party centered around poetry, a poetry in the park event, etc. There will always be something poetic going on. And they will know about it.

10. You will know what a true apology sounds like. Poets can apologize like NONE other when they know they have done something wrong.

11.Making love to a poet feels like syllables being whispered along the curve of your spine as you unravel into a million pieces.

12. Poets like smell good stuff. But not obnoxious fruity scents. Poets don't like to smell like fruit baskets. Poets like sandalwood, and amber, and lavender, and patchouli oils. You know...the **** stuff.

13. Poets cherish quiet time. Meanwhile, most non-poets you date will probably have the television blasting, music playing, friends climbing over one another and a cell phone conversation on speaker phone...all at the same time...every day.

14. You will always have a crowd-pleaser on your arm. Not all poets are attention ****** at parties BUT all poets know how to say at least one extra deep/witty thing that will have everyone else envious that you are the one dating the poet and not them.

15. Poets can wear the color black during all seasons, during thunderstorms or sunny spring days and make it look extra sophisticated and intentional.

16. Poets break rules...but also enjoy the process of making them. Keeps things interesting.

17. Poets shun conformity. So you know that if your poet bought it for you, said it to you, wrote it for you, etc...it's gonna be something edgy and unique and outside of the normal (boring) box.

18. Poets are great with their hands and even better with their mouths. Enough said.

19. Poets are the gatekeepers AND the rallyers (is that a real word?) of the community. If you don't know what a gatekeeper is...you aren't dating a poet. If you don't know what a rallyer is, it's because there's a possibility that it's not a real word. But you get it.

20. Poets like to make up their own words.

21. Poets don't like to be told that they can't do something. Maybe it's the whole submit and rejection process of writing. Who knows? But tell a poet NO and they'll keep trying until they get a yes. Persistence is way more handy than what can be explained here.

22. Poets read books. Book readers tend to have better vocabularies. A broad vocabulary is usually a trait of a good conversationalist which means no lame dinner convos.

23. Poets can write **** things beautiful and can ***** up a pristine scene like nobodies business. In other words, when you need a different perspective on something...your poet can provide that for you.

24. A well-written poem can be the most powerful and therapeutic dose of truth and self-realization. Poets write poems. Therefore, dating a poet is like getting free therapy.

25. Poets don't need a list of 50 things to prove why dating them is the best thing you will ever do.
Found poetry is a type of poetry created by taking words, phrases, and sometimes whole passages from other sources and reframing them as poetry by making changes in spacing and lines, or by adding or deleting text, thus imparting new meaning. The resulting poem can be defined as either treated: changed in a profound and systematic manner; or untreated: virtually unchanged from the order, syntax and meaning of the original.

Children drugged with truthless tales . . .
Unwise men embrace their treasure;
Algorithms urge the sales
In malls devoid of merry measure.

Plastic sparkles in the air;
Automotive ads turn festive . . .
Forced good nature everywhere
Makes the shopping crowds grow restive.

Corporate greed spins altruistic
Hyping goods, suppressing Christ.
Our Yuletide is their big statistic
Oversold and underpriced.

Secular beribboned fluff:
Peace, Goodwill . . .  but don't say *** !
And heaven knows you've had enough;
Just download the app—acquire the mod.

Coca-Colaed, Disneyfied
You're wrapping paper for their fire;
Eggnogged, Santa-ed, thrown aside
While Babel's flames roar ever higher.

The godlessness shines right on through
Where Christmas lyrics die, unheard.
The Yule-log and the sparks that flew
Expire in embers long unstirred.

The old usurper carting toys
And Chinese knock-offs in his sled
Sets off a lot of empty noise:
Insanity in green and red.

The lurker leers and hauls his bag
(jolly antichrist distraction)
While flying Bishop Nicholas' flag:
A winter psy-ops covert action.

Only message left: go drink!
And may your cup o'erflow with cheer
Before you risk to start to think
Yourself and *** right out of here.

Hallmark haloes, bygone kitsch
enwreaths the memory of the years,
Kindling maudlin sadness which
wells up in melancholy tears

For Christian culture (rest in peace)
Long-corrupted by dollar signs;
For fa la la and fattened geese
And holly midst the ivy vines;

For Dickens' gospel of the season
Anglican angelic ghosts
Pushing us beyond unreason
Toward the future's spectral hosts;

For folklore now reduced to ash
Commercial blow-outs, ***** snow;
For Saturnalian urge to smash
the store-front windows where they show;

For useless manger figurines
Passed down from some more faithful time;
For hallowed and nostalgic scenes
No longer worth a Roman dime.
I still love Christmas but its ongoing commercial secularization by corporate globalists makes me retch (into my mulled wine).

Nonetheless, like Scrooge, I intend to keep Christmas well.
By the way, that's Merry CHRISTmas.
(No Christ, NO CHRISTMAS)

The ultimate joy of life,
Without strife,
A virtue,
A necessity,
Hard work.
We think we are the masters of our fates,
It creates impatience.
Nip the fumes of impatience in the bud,
Endure and be tolerant,
Don't get worked up,
Have patience.
You need it in abundance,
To be a good parent,
A perfect teacher,
A likeable boss,
All modes of life.
Patience is the hallmark of the righteous,
So restrain your anger,
Forgive others,
Avoid snap judgements,
Very difficult but we can.
Without patience wisdom becomes foolishness,
Success turns to defeat.

Touching one moment with

Hearts

Eclipsing…

Breathtaking mornings,

Evenings of brilliant stars

Among heavenly resplendences

Upon the widths of our eternal sky

These wings of space we pace

Igniting little dreams to spark

Fully embraced by the dark

Unto us the firmaments of

Lovely loving love Light All...

New niches for our Hallmark universe

Oh beloved / mother goddess lover,

Will your wonders ever cease? No Never.

Shut.
Up.
Stop complaining.
So what if something didn't go right.
So what.
You can just shut up.

I'm a pessimistic optimist.
Look at the bright side.
At least you can see,
Talk to
Hold
Your Valentine.

Go shove
Your overrated love
Deep
Down
Your
Throat.

Choke
On
Your
Paper hearts
Overpriced candy
Flower arrangements
And wasted money.

It's just another
Greeting card holiday.

**** it, Hallmark!

Some people don't get to see their love
Some people have lost their love
Some people are alone
And some people just hate this
******, unnecessary holiday
You.
Can.
Just.
****.
It.

Just **** it.
Because
If you really love someone,
You tell them
Show them
Treat them right
EVERY.
****.
*******.
DAY.
NOT JUST WHEN SOCIETY
******* TELLS YOU TO!

It's not love
If you have to be reminded.

Don't be afraid to express love.
So what if you care about someone
Other than yourself.
It's a change from some people.

•••••

Sorry.
Craving physical love
Such as the simplest touch
....
It drives you insane.

So go on.
Pay no attention
To this free verse
Rant of mine.
I just wish to hold
My intangible valentine.

Breaking up is
hard to do
Loosening spiritual stretch
tranquilizer
His words are my pacifier
The shooting star sprinkling shot
Look at our stars dot to dot
They connect over tea for two
Soothe me star even if there is nothing to do

The other stuff can knock me
out in the daylight
But in the twilight
Those zillions of stars my
eyes closed I think to glaze
Take another look strike
the pose the next day
the same spot
I saw the soothing words next to
Star pointed rose
Even
__?

Not the starry night
Going through something
What the world brought to me
Too much at one time everything
Breathe in and soothe me
*It was up to me not to blind me
what will I bring so many things
My cool spirit make it meditation table,
The New York sooth your mind menu
Rendezvous all talk but delicious

Do you all agree? Another feel good
shopping spree
I cannot even say soothing-word*

Your home is your oasis but the
huff and the puff star is not relaxing
Or to blow you down it needs work
The hard stuff is to better yourself
The feel-good smooth flowing
Even if you missed your star
You're the no star he's is always late
Soothe me star may be my fate

Not always about being
**** and remaining thin

The forever flight hit so hard
  Got
  Thrown brick harder
the sin

They say remorse is the poison of life
And divorce could be the best
change in someone's life

OH! Lord The new?? hard/
cushion/night

"The winding rough road see the light"
It may be tough but make it good deed

Athletic Girly curve walk

The pep talk she had the tough birth
The Preppy he's training
the puppy stuff
You don't have to be a star it doesn't matter
who you are
But there is growing good of the world

Miles smiles and giggles
the wild child  loves
all kinds of stuff

She is about to explode
Harder side of logic
*Been Moonstruck

Both mouths a volcano
Hard star stuff big ham and swiss

Exploring new stuff
Please take it from pointed star
beware?
She walks like she is hot stuff
Those color forms of love stuff
Things and stuff
Stuff and things

Holding tightly prayer nightly
Your stuffed animal
The little world of people
The big world Church and Temple
So many things exist

Walking through the end of
the exit
It a hard position of the angle
Tough to be single even more
to deal with being married
Being the first online
Hard call masquerade Ball
I am getting a handle on my stuff
Kiss Rock dress heavy metal stuff
Indie Pop She's the Earth Blondie
Singing Rap

Going mainstream
She's Brook long stream
He's under the influence
She doesn't nearly have
the up to par

Gifts of curiosity
Adjusting to reality
Hard life too much focus
On our happiness
He's coming home
breadwinner of money
Just one loaf of
bread she blossoms
like his honey

Disavows humanity
The harder the words
How it challenges our sanity

Myriad of the creatures of things
Dark crayon hard stuff
Heavy___Rough__Tough
Wild Hawaii Say Hi to all our
blissfully but soothing hearts
She is like a hard sandpaper
He is so cool reading his
worldly carefree life
He is inside the newspaper
Like the Big Ben London guard

How mindset like Hallmark card

Too much Holiday Turkey filled up
Time is busting out overstuffed
So powerless word hard ingenious
Be thankful for what you have
But feeling too much
of the dry spell that rain well
Is my gifted secret tell
Like an Elephant, you are
the tough one the smart one
No-one is perfect to be the
brilliant one

The star way of the fantasy
Nothing fancy doesn't make you jump
Prince is not so charming smooth
talker fairytale
Presidential Trump Roger Rabbit
My lucky tower rabbit foot

Between a hard rock meets her sexuality

Having bad luck long shot from your solitude
Hallucinations all dark things hurt
My imagination world is sometimes unstoppable
Like a million thoughts of stars believing
I love the hard candy sweet like a hard metal
Who gets the Metals and honors
The Terminators names of  Arnold and
Connors

Someone is whispering sweet
nothing in my ear
PJ-Clarkes Superman Clark Kents

We need more therapy events
Princeton pancakes no remakes
And tons of maple syrup
***** Tonk women at the rodeo
Her horse lucky hoof hit hard

Head spinner,  "Gold miners"
Hard times I was left with
A hard rock and critters
And then you wake

Hard life or its way too easy what is truly better I know my moods change in this **** of a gun weather. Let's keep our spirit high and heal our minds to get better don't you want a better life or something in the middle of the road make sure you don't kiss deeply inside of a hard binding book of the fairy tale. You are worth so much more than kissing a toad but we are talking about the hard stuff please go easy on me
