I feel the caress of my own fingers
on my own neck as I place my collar
and think pityingly
of the kind women I have known.

The Gentle Cow she gives us milk
Her skin is smooth and soft as silk
She walks about the field all day
about what she thinks I cannot say perhaps she thinks it is not right
That every morning and every night
She gives us milk and never get paid for what she gives us twice a day
Learned this in school in South Africa in the 50s.
Gentle lady, do not sing
Sad songs about the end of love;
Lay aside sadness and sing
How love that passes is enough.

Sing about the long deep sleep
Of lovers that are dead, and how
In the grave all love shall sleep:
Love is aweary now.
There is a man that lives in me,
He's one that few can see,
He's stronger than i ever was or ever dreamed to be,
The one that took the right path,
The one who is found for i am lost,
I dreamed of you,
I dreamt that all i was ,
Was just a part of you,
Someday i will die in the fading summer light,
The dreams will be everything,
As i go into that gentle sweet goodnight,
And in my heart ill always know that it will be alright.

she spoke to me
with a cold, hard voice
and i looked at her
like a sweet soft
touch on the bare skin,
and i loved her
just like that.
i don't know what to say

i can let you
come and go
watch you
as you
ebb and flow
lift you up
to bid you fly
for i've let
my ego
finally die
There is a gentle thought that often springs
to life in me, because it speaks of you.
Its reasoning about love’s so sweet and true,
the heart is conquered, and accepts these things.
‘Who is this’ the mind enquires of the heart,
‘who comes here to seduce our intellect?
Is his power so great we must reject
every other intellectual art?
The heart replies ‘O, meditative mind
this is love’s messenger and newly sent
to bring me all Love’s words and desires.
His life, and all the strength that he can find,
from her sweet eyes are mercifully lent,
who feels compassion for our inner fires.’

Goodnight my darling,
I hope your dreams are charming,
As I love you with all my heart,
And can't bare it when we are apart,
So promise me you will dream,
Of a flowing gentle stream,
Its a cold starry night,
No reason to be a fright,
As I am always with you,
No matter how far I seem,
I will always be in your dreams.

Whoaa, why so blunt, harsh hard-hearted heathen,
hear me out...
chase the dragonfly as it weaves trails to places
you have never dreamed...
                                             or have you?
pick the cherry tomato right off your vine
brush it off and bite down and let the juices
down your granite chin.

In your life were you ever gentle,
I mean soft with kindness,
      in love with blindness,
if you held your hand out would
all the animals long to be
close to you

or would you be all alone
through decades of cultivated fear
                       and evaporated tears,
from the heat of your raging anger
                  your looks like daggers,
skip down the aisles of grocery stores,
even when you are with friends of yours,
have a sock fight and be willing to lose,
sit on some shady chaise somewhere as
the sun sets and just drink in all that
is around, no needs no wants,
no haunts as the skeletons return to
their closets and leave you to be free
to laugh to cry to share to pry
your hands off the greed that chokes
every breath that could have been full
oh be gentle friend be gentle
their is enough spirits of malice
that yours, your spirit need not
be numbered among them,
oh gentle giant not by stature
not by might but by how God
sees you within His sight and
sings over you,
gentle humble friend if
we had the time to break bread
instead of speed records or
hearts misled by, "that is how we are wired."

you can still be a man of courage,
you are a man of strength
you are a gentle man

something GZ does not get
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on that sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

He was the Gentle Giant,
His voice was like soft thunder.
His Hands, strong enough to lift up the fallen,
Yet gentle enough to hold the smallest child.

He was the Gentle Giant,
His children were yours and mine.
He towered over them with great height,
And cast a shadow of deep love.

He was the Gentle Giant,
His face chiseled from stone,
His outward appearance intimidating,
But his heart was molded from pure gold.

He was the Gentle Giant,
And sometimes giants fall,
But in his wake he left
Waves of love to last for generations.
Love and the gentle heart are one same thing,
Even as the wise man in his ditty saith.
Each, of itself, would be such life in death
As rational soul bereft of reasoning.
'Tis Nature makes them when she loves: a king
Love is, whose palace where he sojourneth
Is call'd the Heart; there draws he quiet breath
At first, with brief or longer slumbering.
Then beauty seen in virtuous womankind
Will make the eyes desire, and through the heart
Send the desiring of the eyes again;
Where often it abides so long enshrined
That Love at length out of his sleep will start.
And women feel the same for worthy men.

As my hands gently glide across your body. From left to right, up and down
gently touching your body.
Our bodies gently press together.
As my lips gently kiss yours.
Slowly covering your body in kisses.
