"generosity" poems
Come on. Come on baby. Don't be selfish tonight. Let's be lovers. Let's be more generous. Let's be more nurturing and caring to each other As we taste and explore each other's bodies Open your legs. Let me extend my generosity To the legends within your hidden temple An abundance of *** in the air Is the sound of your voice As you moan without care I get so ***** thinking of you kissing my neck and touching me in the sexiest places the way you know that I like. I just need you on top of me right now. My body yearns for you constantly. It has grown so deeply attached to you that it craves your *** and needs it to facilitate a healthy, ****** release So come on baby Don't be selfish, it's alright Give me all of you Focus. You'll be moaning with delight.

Generous
Be kind to yourself, as you are with others You have these grand expectations of yourself and at times, those around you It's good to have goals and a hunger for betterment, but you must also be vigilant to keep them realistic Because, while you are indeed fierce & strong-willed, you are also soft & at times fragile You are human. But that doesn't mean you are without superpowers Your sensitivity is your greatest gift, but without care, can also be your greatest downfall You must learn to master your craft. This means to be patient with yourself as you would with others, to show compassion as you would with others, to show love, grace, & humility, to yourself This in practice, is to truly understand, & epitomise, that self-care is not selfish That it is okay to say no, or to ask for help, or to be truly vulnerable To acknowledge that fear is the root cause of bitterness & resentment To embrace the lows, for making the highs even sweeter To let the good wash over you the same as the bad, & embrace the micro changes, as the meta stays the same To believe you are worthy, of a great love, the same as you believe another's worthy of yours To embody the idiom that one can only truly love another, after they learn to love themself, & thus allowing the hard-earned victory of grounded, stable communion To know the difference between support & advice, love & lust, friendships & partnerships To have faith that you will find your way, because you will; because you live your life with generosity & authenticity This is my vision for you, that you will make this your reality.

What is a Legacy What's the equation that leads to the sum that is A Human Life The curtain draws as it must and when it's done... We spill out of this "Life" a grocery bag of idiosyncrasies, neuroses, hypocrisies, and other I-sees What are we in the end but broken pieces of a puzzle we leave for others to assemble--who cares if the pieces fit. Someone found a Kind word here Another a Generosity A memory of a Lie Proof of a Cruelty Acts of Humanity by a human being acting... Who knows me well enough to define my Legacy? Who else but "I"

Divine Generosity
Ramadan opens door of mercy each year reconciling all our hearts on goodness, generosity and forgiveness. We are all clusters of sins awaiting repentance holding on to a book bonded with threads of faith Encrusted with pristine words and reminders from Allah (swt) When our heads hung low, And our eyes dripped tears and despair The pillars of Islam held us back up. They are the backbone of our lives. Ramadan leaves us with empty stomachs during the day But with that our tongues are heavy with thikr And our hearts are soft from patience. I pray that we find the right doors to open, and that we remain among the faithful believers. Ramadan Kareem to my muslim followers x

Ramadan '14
Ah, the season of gifting. Antagonist of year-long thrifting. Tradition sadistic, Materialistic, Four quarters in pockets worth sifting. This year I hereby proclaim I shan’t be consumed by the game. Cycle of curse Purpose perverse The namesake, an oversight became. Christ’s birth did in fact begin, Holiday distracted by sin. Misguided it be To forget idly The sacrifice He made for all men. We naively regard generosity As holiday’s behavioral piosity. But if dollars and cents Are the tools of offense Over shadow favor luminosity. Water in Africa is ***** American child in poverty. Politics aside, Convenient homicide, To enable the ills of society. In the global economy we flaunt Wealth by comparison, bitter taunt. First world problems abound Pass the turkey around Central heating and air, what a jaunt! What if this season we decide To extend two palms open wide? Sacrificing ourselves Rather than stocking our shelves Dying whispers echo true: “we tried.” Don’t spend your money on me this year. Not iPhones, not tickets, not Blu-ray or beer. Instead know you can Distribute more than A snort, a lie, and a tear. (optional conclusion to assist interpretation of last line) Snort of derision, Lies of provision, Tears, even true, Hardly subdue Anguish deprived of tradition’s revision.

Stewardship (a series of limericks)
Be Lost In The Call Lord, said David, since you do not need us, why did you create these two worlds? Reality replied: Oh prisoner of time, I was a secret treasure of kindness and generosity, and I wished this treasure to be known, so I created a mirror: its shining face, the heart; its darkened back, the world; The back would please you if you’ve never seen the face. Has anyone ever produced a mirror out of mud and straw? Yet clean away the mud and straw, and a mirror might be revealed. Until the juice ferments a while in the cask, it isn’t wine. If you wish your heart to be bright, you must do a little work. My King addressed the soul of my flesh: You return just as you left. Where are the traces of my gifts? We know that alchemy transforms copper into gold. This Sun doesn’t want a crown or robe from God’s grace. He is a hat to a hundred bald men, a covering for ten who were naked. Jesus sat humbly on the back of an *** my child! How could a zephyr ride an *** Spirit, find your way, in seeking lowness like a stream. Reason, tread the path of selflessness into eternity. Remember God so much that you are forgotten. Let the caller and the called disappear; be lost in the Call.

Rumi's Mirror
‘…. and now, here’s Rick with the latest Market news…’ ‘Val, trading was very brisk today, with a number of influences that set the market off to some defined trends and statements. Of course, the Human Virtue Exchange always seems to rely on the volatility that resides ‘between the ears’ as noted by the veteran brokers on the floor, but the sharp ranges of prices offered versus profit taking has set the bar very high in the relative value of Basic Human Virtue. Now to the numbers: Courage [WHOME], Patience [PP], and former market darling Perseverance [GULP], all varied widely today on news from Washington that their value was doomed to fall in the light of the expected growth of Persistence [IAM] which history has shown to be a marked drag on just about everything. Outside of the self –efficacy bazaar, old standbys Ambition [HVY], Curiosity [WDF], Industry [HAHA] and Temperance [BFD], continued their free fall into uncharted areas of cost and return. Some analysts feel these virtues could be a real bargain in the future despite their history of poor performance. Could a comeback not seen since collapse of the Protestant Hypocrisy Era be in the works? We’ll see as the lack of movement in the Kindness-Generosity-Forgiveness-Compassion Index [FARAWAY] leads many to believe that the end of Politeness [UPYRS], Un-pretentiousness [ME-ME], Self Control [NWAY] and Sportsmanship [LONGONE], may lead to a complete miss-understanding between casual market players and devotees to the cause. The ratios cannot lie. But without a doubt, today’s big winner was Self Respect [YUP] which jumped and amazing 40 points before active trading ceased at the bell. So people feel real good about themselves for reasons that cannot be explained by the Ego File Indicator alone; this causes this reporter to predict that Naval Gazing [MOM] remains a ‘Hot to Trot’ stock fund and the Vanity market is always a good bet. Now, here’s Carl with today’s Human Emotion Exchange report……’

I am darkness I am light, I am chaos I am might, lies and truth unite, Fear and bravery, envy with hatred and love finally combined, I am the difference between illusions and dreams, nothing as it seems, Nightmares and mirrages, a realm of infinity and finite by its means, I am fusion and fission, with one simple yet very complex misssion, Energy and indolence, a wall, another fence, questions upon answers If small lies give rise to grand falsities, what is the truth gonna bring ? A place where you should be able to feel reality and fantasy's sting, Apathy and concern unite, come closer I don't really bite, trust me, My teeth look sharp, yet they are blunt, you can rant or stay calm, I am a living death wandering yet standing still, does it make you ill? Generosity and greed are both present while they are missing, still! Control the lies of your uncontrollable tounge, listen to the silence, Could we possibly agree that this unanimity relies in total dissension? I am the discouragement for your precious, little yet pure intentions, Aimlessness for hope of a future unexplored yet near enough to grasp I am the rue in pride, a lamp without light, elusive but not transient, A harmonic ramgage, riots over the horizon in undefined dark light, I am malevolent and benevolent, bent yet straight, right behind you, What am I ? ~ Umi

Ask me who is the most generous man I know and I shall speak his name Ask me who is the most humble man I know and him I shall acclaim Ask me who is the most altruistic man I know and his face shall be on the frame Ask me who is the most kindhearted man I know and you will hear his name again In my life, I've never met anyone like him again A man devoted to his family and his community Always preaching the word of God and leading us to felicity Always ready to sacrifice his needs for the sake of love and unity He taught us family, love, fraternity, forgiveness, religion, compassion, tolerance, peace and generosity I am who I am today thanks to his teachings He was a leader, a guide, our role model There is no one like him He was a father, a brother, a friend, a companion, a grandfather 16 years since he is gone but his words still resonate like thunder You are no longer here but your teachings linger A man who was not afraid to cry when needs be but also not afraid to yell and impose order Always playful with kids and receptive and caring with adults I feel privileged and lucky to have known him and call him grandpa For in my life he has played a huge and special part The memories I will treasure and keep them in my heart Although he is gone, we will always be together And his spirit will live on in each one of us forever From where he is, he is protecting us and guiding us on our way He is praying for us everyday He used to pray God "Let it be I who fall sick instead of one of my family member. Let it be I who die instead of someone in my family." What kind of man wishes for that, you ask. Someone special I will say, a man of love And I would like to thank God above For blessing us with this man, with his kindness and love I truly believe that God has gifted him with something special He taught us not to let this world be in our heart for it is not eternal I know he is in a better place Watching us all with a smile on his face I hope we are making you proud from where you are We are still crying an ocean of tears As we feel so empty and hold many fears If I could just turn back the time to those days you used to laugh with us and made us feel so special and loved Those days you pretended to be in pain when we stepped on your feet while we were playing Those days when they were only you and us in the room with your half covered grey and curled hair Those days we used to watch tv together and whenever there was an intimate scene you screamed your favorite word "Touc" and scared us (not that I know what it means) Time will heal so they say And time fades away While a part of us is taken away I know we will meet again one day But until that day Know that you are truly missed Mame Alassane Lahi whom we affectionately called Mame Rane

A flight of three crows added to a dense grey day Next add four iconic conifers as high as the sky eternally ******* down These things are always in my sight through my window on this wet world Multiply all of this by a sweet daughter who makes me proud and raise the whole to the power of a strong woman who carries us all on her back The equation produces a result that I am 95 percent certain equals happiness though the confidence interval is wide And this result sweet as it is and as uncertain as it is will outlive me leave a faint echo in time an echo that will bounce off a star and finally be found gripped in my shriveled paw long after the epiphany nowhere near paradise somewhere short of the end of the line This is a moment of happiness stolen from time hijacked by a fugitive from civil society I'll hold it close until death pries it without mercy from my hand Leaves it as a blessing and a curse for all who come after Take the blessing. Leave the curse. That's the advice I give with my dying breath. And I leave this to you from the generosity of my heart. With a nod to the scant traces of God's grace that I find on these pathways of travail. Never lost. Never found. Always present and generous to all. Be that.

The Arithmetic of Happiness
Appearances can be deceptive, And to the superficial gaze The outside looks dull and grey Plain looking in many ways, Yet, when a crack causes Water to seep slowly through, A Geode can split to reveal A dazzling sight to view! Piles of purple crystals Sparkling in the light, Such wonderful inner beauty Now apparent for our delight! Have you noticed how some people, May seem plain as plain can be? Yet, if we take time to peer deeper, Then, what gems would we see? Perhaps a beautiful heart We never thought was there, Where an aching generosity Is waiting its time to share? Yes, a warm, glowing inner beauty Will emerge before your eyes, A newly discovered Treasure For you to cherish, and to prize!

Beautiful Inside
Your tall body has always enticed me Your long arms have kept me safe Your scruffy beard makes me smile And your smile makes me melt Your hands hold mine and make me feel loved And wipe away the tears Enough of these superficial reasons Your love has comforted me Your humor has made me laugh (Until I snort) Your words have made smile And cry But always out of love Your generosity Has never left me empty handed No matter how much I beg you To keep your money for yourself Your caring heart reminds me I'm not alone Somehow you stopped the shaking trembling in my anxious thoughts You brought me back to reality You stopped me from dying You stopped me from hurting myself You stopped me from starving From expelling the contents of my stomach But most of all you gave me hope A reason to carry on A reason to fight my mind To tell the mirror it's a liar To throw my blades away And eat whatever I want A reason to keep living And to love myself I know you don't feel good enough But look at all this evidence Change the criteria in your head The requirement of "good enough" Should only contain one thing You All you have to be is you To be good enough for me Because I ******* love you

Winky McGee
What better human quality than generosity? They say sharing is caring, who could disagree? Sharing bread, sharing bed, sharing deep intimacy Sharing souls, sharing hearts, sharing vulnerability But a world without sharing is a world that stopped caring Without care, love will fade and cause lack of compassion Division of humankind, is what causes war of nations Borders are border line, they impede freedom of roaming Don’t you think it’s absurd how people will decide How much they’ll share with you, How much they’ll care for you Depending on where you’re born or you reside Whilst the truth is that we share - the same entire planet Borders caused our division - and used us all as puppets To get richer and be better than those outside our borders Made us greedy, made us needy to increase our own possessions Some might think sharing means - losing parts of what is yours But where true love persists - all that is mine is also yours Sharing doesn’t halve happiness; you’ll see it multiplies it Possession is what grows greed and the bad weeds that surround it

Sharing is Caring
Like a male monkey you rises up And thumps hard your chest-it is you and you only! O Man! You forgets, who you are and what you are is Nature’s She generously gives and she avariciously takes- Just a few chances she is giving you to repent before she ruthlessly returns She is a sharp, doubled edged sword-merciful and merciless! Man, Humanity is not hostility: Humanity is humility! Like Sheol that is never satisfied you want to swallow the whole world Like death you want to take everything, big-small-you want to stomach all Everything you want to keep to yourself, to be to your entitlements You take and leave nothing at all for the harmless hopeless-the voiceless Yet you easily forgets, when the angel of death calls it’s only you and your soul in burials Your ill amassed pride, wealth and health is not with you anywhere in this your brutal trials Man, Humanity is not gullibility: Humanity is generosity! O man! O man! You fills the whole world with mortality You have killed the sole essence of the soul’s endless immortality With your undignified dishonesty, your free-will to filthy immorality War you begins wealthy to get-war is a supernormal profiting business Man, Humanity souls has never been subjects to severity but sanctity! Innocent-as little as little children-you murders-they were inevitable! Common civilians’ deaths are collateral damages-inescapable! You forgets who you are-you are a little loaned, little you returns for judgment Here no allies to look after your backs, no cracks to corruption kickbacks- It is the fairest of all hearings, a ***** for a ***** it is not for a big spoon! Man, Humanity is not ignobility: Humanity is dignity! What you are given to govern you governs not What you are given to take care of you pilfers all For you and your lineages eternal legacies-the richest ever to have graced the earth! Yet you forgets, Master a little while returns to put you to a rigorous account And whoever much is given-that much is also expected, what will be your report? Man, Humanity is not royalty: Humanity is loyalty! Humanity is a community, not a sorority of individuality! Humanity is not infidelity: Humanity is honesty Humanity is not how wealthy: Humanity is how a loyal legacy Humanity is not how large is your multinationals entity: Humanity is how huge is your small heart-its hospitality Humanity is a humble history, a saintly story! © Kìùra Kabiri. My leg hurts The jaws of this inhumane trap engulf my lower shin I have the tool to disarm it and free myself But I muttle in my adolescent egocentric pain Caught within monotonous routine and self interest I rot like my peers I've sunk to a level of self loathing, that I enjoy pulling myself down I Am Disgusting. I Need Help. I cry for things I can give myself but alas I withhold it to feel sorry for myself Me and my fellow youth Equally as useful, equally as useless Although I am free of the crowd I am still blinded by my adolescence Purpose Interest Intellect Great-fullness Peacefulness Generosity Love PURPOSE all I've know is I am here to be a vessel for knowledge and indoctrination I am here to have an opinion I voice, but does not matter. I do not matter. This function is welded to me However... The voice of destiny reasons with me again and I hear: Seek what's within Garrot it. Place yourself into the walls of meaning and the murals upon't Serve others in selflessness. Share with others in selflessness. Learn from others in selflessness. Teach others in selflessness. Your a pawn in the samsara. Do your duty within its game. Gain higher consciousness so you can share the path to it. Become a giver, not a taker. Interest Intellect Great-fullness Peacefulness Generosity Love Six lessons left, define yourself within them. Or perish within your self indulgent pitiful hole.

Fictional Fixedness
The gift of giving indiscriminately is a gift we should give indiscriminately There's a secret to a good life and here's the key The path to happiness is generosity Happiness doesn't dilute when you give it away and it constitutes in everything you say You can literally have your cake and eat it depending exactly on how you treat it take it, use it, split it, pass it on every time you do that it will be twice as strong happiness is a virus we need to learn to spread a pandemic of the head A vaccine shot straight to the heart infecting you with a flying start secret to the deeper hidden meaning of living that happiness is caused by indiscriminate giving.

The gift of giving indiscriminately
They are the heart givers and the breath takers without them I cannot live but just like my exgirlfriend they can't seem to find where they left their compassion. I cannot breathe but that is only because it cost too much to live understanding their desire of money it pains me to know greed not of my own will be the cause of my death. That in my generosity I forgot planting trees does not grow the greens they seek and the carrots sprouting are ones they eat not the ones they don't wear to the office but dance around their family with. Education was supposed to be their gravity and with each ounce of knowledge built an anchor to the moon because instead of humanity they've become a celestial star whose imagination wanders outside the orbit of those who may be suffering. A broken hearted soul paves the waiting room with their corpse because while in the void something had to go and it wasn't the money but a man that couldn't afford to keep his heart going.

Take Flight
A head, gnashing and screaming Forgiving my unknown hospitality Pretty is weakening I'm a fatality deemed Obnoxious is my scene The mocking and mimicking comes easy for me No secret, I envy the earth's energy Depressed, sitting in my fancy dress Shoving and tugging with desirable credibility I ravish my personality Amused? As I show my tender meat bleeding Kissing, authentic generosity A bit suggestive Confidence in deranged descriptions making others nervous Excuse me, I must leave my head is blistering, Popping, Gushing and oozing profanities Dented durability, consume me I love the fact I'm lacking Becoming one with the barbaric queen

how sad to be misunderstood to be evicted from life to have the full tenure of a torrid human existence gesture horribly at you in faultless reputation like that of a rancid rage over a lost trinket or to be quarantined while fingerless skin scolds and noiseless voices are raised in a donated generosity of savage ignorance striving to make copious amends in vain efforts to regrettable slow acting poison that boils the mind oh how sad to be misunderstood such varicose viciousness oh it’s sad quite sad to be misunderstood to live through and inoculated hour glass giving limitless time to a wildfire of idiocy and when your breath speaks they laugh black laughter that shatters wet umbilical truths shudders knowledge gestures to smoking nostrils oh how sad, how sad it is to be misunderstood to be drenched in the rain but not get wet in which antiquity rests with its mythologised stupendous ill effects getting vivid shadows massed all around oh how sad it is to be misunderstood until dactylic, hexameter, elegance completes and slithering syllables by their antiquity focus a shuddering shriek that sends an exploding heart through your chest

how sad to be misunderstood
G is for generosity, giving from a large heart to those in need. R reminds me of her radiance, running throughout her smile of insouciance... And A takes me to the earlier days of her being so animated that N then becomes, naturally, the necessity to remember her this way. Now dining with the divine, D reminds me of her dying but M marks my memories with her mindful magnificence. And for this, another A because she's just that amazing, that her absence -although now abundant- is always alight with her angelic life.

Generosity
What I bring to the table is Sensitivity, Sincerity, Compassion, Honesty and Respect What I bring to the table is Intelligence, Good Grace and Humour, Understanding and Confidence What I bring to the table is Generosity in spirit and Deeds, Calmness and Reflection, Strength, Bravery and Courage What I bring to the table is a Caring Soul, a Good Heart and Faith, Loyalty and Truthfulness and Trust What I bring to the table is Versatility, Competence and Originality What I bring to the table is the Love of Romeo and Real Passion unrivalled.......... So tell me why I am being GREEDY if I say I do not care if I eat alone! Am I to blame if some chose not to see Am I to blame if stunted pride and ego blinds Am I to blame if stupidity and foolishness abound Am I to blame if complexes and insecurities assail some Am I to blame if dishonesty and fickleness is more appealing Am I to blame if envy and jealousy blind eyes and minds in others Am I to blame if they term caring and attentive as clingy Am I to blame if they term Intelligence and Honesty as arrogance Am I to blame if they term Strength, Bravery and Courage as Male Chauvanism Am I to blame if they term Intelligence Competence and originality as Controlling Am I to blame when they lack the Ability to look honestly and truthfully within themselves before pointing their fingers So tell me why I am being GREEDY if I say I do not care if I eat alone So tell me why I am being GREEDY if I say I do not care if I eat alone at my table..........
