"flickerin" poems
thoughts are transmitted via translucent dragonfly mosquitos from the angeled mountains of an ancient africa to the plagued fountains of a new chimerica miracles of disease and possibility in this naked play they bear fruitwords juicing gifts of malleable meaning clothes for being or chains, chainings and so you are water and messaging carried all from timelands so distant & vague you are forever a vague and distant stranger to your self. when a man or woman is cut wide, and deep enough they bleed despair and with the desperate drops flows all the thought force of all the riversrunnininthabellyod'earth. in these despedrops the flickerin' reflexions of starbirds turn banal to beauty meaning dangerously alive in them the wombman is mirrored countless countless times each a split second in their life a minute detail in their endless skies. today i made upon leaving home a wish that an image would come to stand frozen across my peepholepupil of what it will not matter; and that some one, whomever, a dancer, a *** would come to stand staring just intentsly enough to have this moist unmatter touch to fill their own eye. this has all happened, just now, a blink before our ending - all of it, together, when you told me ah feigned casualty: it's the sweetness that kills you or was it yr perfect just the way you are. at the last i followed your passing with my gaze as your wake the most intensfool one i could ever make as your backs became horizons i turned tilting to the old borderline it stood as ever sealing the sea - sealing a sea that heeeaved against the plentyfullpollutionoftheshorelinepowerplantplantation inc smoke sky beyond a wind oh my window, ours the wind wowed with that old border time i saw the blue behemeoth spotted four white dots in crescent form and you see, looking through thus windowed i simply could not say were they sailboats, fallenserapheathers or reflexions of those electricpearlights upon waxfloressence from the waning walls of the halls you just walked out of time all around me wail the waking walls of a maze my hazedazedgaze your never.

we got a goldfish, for my little boy. a tank, some coloured grit, three plants not two, must practise goldfish fung shu. all the water testing guff and of course a filter. a sunken ship and a treasure chest . we paid the pirate... and took our ***** home. so we set Bruce. ( for that was the name chosen). up in pride of place on sidboard. the list, above, was positioned after meetings of commision. water tested to the highest degree, filter fizzing, wizzing, whirring. Bruce swam in his bag in the tank, for a time as instructed. then released to a slightly larger freedom. he swam and swam, golden scales a flickerin. we, (that being, mr just about three and his dad) fed him, watched him poo, and eventually, read Bruce, a bedtime tale or two. one fish, two fish by Dr Suess went down a treat. the little man then, was bundled off to bed. thoughts of Bruce left our heads. the evening lengthened. we retired to sleep the sleep, of ignorance it conspired. for in our planning we forgot one thing. a devon rex cat, who has a bath weekly, a penchant for tuna, no top to the tank. so we thank the lord for Bruce. however, brief was his reign. now we introduce to you.... Murtle the turtle who has a glass pane, sitting above her head. just in case...... the cat likes, turtle soup.

I gone fishin', ma Cheri I built us a house on Blues Bayou And set it on batons To keep out the water And Mister Raton But the bayou gets bluer As new days come to view, Cher It was me, you once adored, Hugged and cherished Me, you've lately ignored I thought real hard 'bout it Decided it weren't worth it To go huntin' for squirrel So today I just go fishin' See a vision of my next expedition Ignorin' the light is impossible Forever; you're bound to notice Especially when it's not there Even a flickerin' candle furnish Enough light to see, I no longer care So I step out the back door Feel the rush of my fall Into Blues Bayou for a quick swim I'll dry out soon in my boat, Find Mister Raton and trick him

sweet joy
sat lookin through the screen-door while she played some spanish tune on her guitar soft and the light did fade on down to the cold west leaving us by the glow of lamplight flickerin she made that song dance for me made it spin a tale out of thin air one of walking in a summer sun holding hands one of laughing like we was young and it was a rich and strong tune fine as spun gold and it was true to the heart as a lovin soul and the stars did come up on high with their ancient mystery's did amaze but nothing compared to the true beautiful mystery of her singing so softly next to me the simple white cotton of her dress the fine ribbons in her long hair and all the fine things that decorated her warm presence so i did love her in the spaces of my heart that had no place left over any other she filled me like a sweet sea she contained me like a summer night sky full of her scents filled with her tender warm embraces held me with bonds of lace and loves deep into this night she spun this spanish song made it dance like my heart when i look at her made it fly like my soul when i am adoring her and it was a rich and strong tune fine as spun gold and it was true to the heart as a lovin soul let her sing my friend till the dawn comes takes us away let her sing till the world cant maintain us cause i never want it to end
