Before there was anything that mattered everything that would ever be existed , it was the essence of totality , it was without dimensional constriction or necessitated form .  Optimistically speaking time had no relative realism to it’s progression because realistically nothing had happened yet .  As it continued it became according to it’s innate inflections as a functionally integrable form .  The questionably understandable nature of it’s conjunction was an omnipotent directive beyond necessitated action or morphological construction .  The enigmatic consciousness of it’s relatively interrelated conception was spontaneous and yet it continued without elemental omniscience.   As the relative complexity of it’s interrelations evolved dimensional consistence was born.  Humanly understandable laws of physical integration governed many facets of it’s conjunction yet the totality of it’s ramification was beyond humanly realistic conjecture .   The organic morphology of biological ontogeny was a conceptually reflective derivative of functional physical mechanics yet it’s diversity exceeded it’s physical complexity , understanding evolved .  Relatively extraneous interpolations of adhesively practical extremity succeeded in a hierarchy of functionally integrable forms . Retrospectively speaking pragmatic practicality is a humanly rational possibility .  Rational logic can conceive of individually totalitarian structural forms , yet the implosive nature of their rational cohesiveness becomes a practical partiality due to the diversity of their definitive impetus . Perhaps the essence of our being is the logical counterpart for the matrix of our subjectively conclusive social fragmentation , or perhaps we are evolutionally incapable of cumulatively rational correlation.  Problematic diversity could be perfectible on an individually infinite level or contrarily perhaps ubiquitous causality is the ultimate survivor.   In any case it is beyond our subjugatively rational cohesive coercion to intercede en masse on our own behalf as an integrated unit. Our conceptual abilities have been thwarted by the unmitigatably individual nature of our extraneous conclusiveness .

As insecure toddlers, we were often told by our parents that inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. This is how they were able to instill in us the confidence we may have today, whenever we represent ourselves in front of other people. However, this is something I find to be quite inaccurate.  If you ask a random person about what they find beautiful and attractive, most of them would probably begin to describe a person’s physical attributes than the internal attributes. Beauty is defined to be the perfect balance and harmony with nature, which may lead to feelings of attraction and emotional well-being. Since the attraction is subjective, the term “beauty is in the eye of the beholder” takes place. Many individuals would like to believe that looks are never important, and that judgments should be based on a person’s internal well-being instead of its outer counterparts. In our modern society, external beauty is more favorable since everything becomes more convenient, than when you only have internal beauty. People will always see your external beauty the moment they see you and not that beautiful mind and soul of yours, and that’s what makes them attracted to you. Just like with expensive cars, the moment a car is put into the market, the consumer who will buy them would first look at their exterior first before they would look for its driving ability; no matter how good its performance may be, these people would always look at its exterior. Also, external beauty can help you be successful, it can land you jobs, earn more money, and help you be treated with more respect by strangers than those with internal beauty. The preference for external beauty than internal beauty is what is wrong in our current society. We live up to the evolved norms of society that we have started to grow backwards. Outer beauty fades, and no matter how beautiful you are on the outside, once people get to know you, you’d be nothing but a simple less attractive human being than you once were. I would leave a wonderful quote here written by a great author: “A tree may look as beautiful as ever; but when you notice the insects infesting it, and the tips of the branches that are brown from disease, even the trunk seems to lose some of its magnificence.”

Why is outer beauty seen to be more attractive than inner beauty?
As insecure toddlers, we were often told by our parents that inner beauty is more important than outer beauty. Her shadow Washed in sin, covered in blood Oh, what a sad little dove Festering secrets, slathered in shame Purity poisoned, life to blame Born unwanted, a mother denies Behind the shadow of our eyes His shadow In dynamics Of dysfunctional dismay Lost in secret family shame These emotional contacts delay That we carry 'til the end of our days Cast in stone, in foundation of lies All these shadows behind our eyes Her pain Painful memories of long ago Though, I know, I must let go Triggers upon the aching scars That burns within an injured heart Full of fear, in the wake of lies All behind the shadow of our eyes His pain An unending twitch The fast fading smile The ever bleeding heart Of a broken lost child Carrying stones up endless hills All these issue we're forced to feel And stuff them down, way down inside Behind the shadow of our eyes Her darkness Hidden is a blacken variant Attached with unbreakable sealant Of life's destiny, from the gods Concealed amid, evolved facades A mind, compartmentalized Behind the shadow of our eyes His darkness Desensitized to life, empathy left poor Bottomless abyss where my spirit now soars Love is a dream in my abandoned role The pieces won't fit my wandering soul.... The window to a soul hides Behind the Shadow of our Eyes

Behind the Shadow of our Eyes (Collaboration with Traveler Tim)
I am the rose that grew from concrete Budded from stones, rocks, mortar, cement, broken glass, drug vials and bags. I am a product of my environment. What you thought would **** me, Only served to make me stronger. Evolved into a hybrid I'm the only of my kind. My thorns fortified with brass knuckles, My color faded from weather beatings, And all other beatings, The travesty of my existence is not lost on me. Beauty in the midst of pain, And what is the epitome of ugly. I don't belong here and never did. Wisdom I have absorbed From rains never to come again Rejuvenates my leaves. Although I cannot absorb it all, Through the cracks in the concrete. I relish what I can And vow to absorb more the next time, Should I be so fortunate. Because the concrete can protect As well as expose my naivete. So compelling to manipulate, It would be ideal to control. Impossible though. How can you control What grows and survives in the midst of chaos? And at what cost to your soul? Even through the ominous clouds, I remain in light. The Sun has never been immune to my plight. Providing the strength, energy and hope I'll need for the next season of my fight.

REFLECTION
Mankind began as a troop animal. Living amongst its own kind. Stepping out of the trees onto the Savanna. Mankind became a wander, small family bands bound by blood. Millenia past, mankind developed farming and the wanderer settled down. Small wandering groups became small farming villages. Small farming villages became larger farming villages, then small towns. Small towns became larger towns inhabited by hundreds. Larger towns grew to small cities inhabited by thousands. Agriculture and technology developed to sustain and enhance such growth. Cities evolved into city states, then becoming small countries inhabited by hundreds of thousands. Finally today we have countries inhabited by hundreds of millions. All along this path battles and wars, killing millions along the way, till today we have weapons that can wipe out us all. The salvation of mankind and the natural progression of things is global organization, global integration. The globe is being wired with its own global neural net, a global brain if you will. One world controlling itself. One world that will not nuke itself! The salvation of us all.

Globalization
I have a fascination with all things love, Daydreams constructing expectations and a daily need for a thing which I have yet to experience, It's an obsession which has evolved into a fear ~ Fear of a broken heart, of a lonely life, of distracted dreams. ~ Funny my ability to overthink.

Love
We open our minds to expand to the times not to pretend there is some end to confine the limits of prime; we defend to remind to dance to the trance we redefine to enhance not to surrender to chance. We open our hearts to embrace the new space-time transparency, interdimensional race as we become united and one, open to truth we exhibit ourselves as one infinite youth, gifted and new, eternally pure evolved to endure no end to potential, perfect and cured. We strengthen our bodies and build on each other we love ourselves and love one another we grow and mature and extend to our neighbors but as we think deeper our expansion is greater our planet is one and our galaxy peace to the opening worlds we bring wisdom and ease we do not enslave or deny or deceive but we share our pure knowledge our light and belief. We raise up our souls beyond science and physics to evolve beyond consciousness confinements and limits our imperial nature shifts to emerge from the boundaries of body and smallness of Earth we expand our perception to include all dimensions from previous eons to future inceptions. We shift our new world from finite to light, universal, infinite, natural, bright we embrace the day and welcome the night to work with each other to be perfect, upright, to evolve our new planet, our galactic mindframe to expand from micro to cosmically aimed to unlock the portals to open our brains to evolve from old gears to interdimensional spheres uniting creation without hesitation pure as clean water and deep meditation. -Ryan Christopher Brandes

To Paint a Water Lily A green level of lily leaves Roofs the pond's chamber and paves The flies' furious arena: study These, the two minds of this lady. First observe the air's dragonfly That eats meat, that bullets by Or stands in space to take aim; Others as dangerous comb the hum Under the trees. There are battle-shouts And death-cries everywhere hereabouts But inaudible, so the eyes praise To see the colours of these flies Rainbow their arcs, spark, or settle Cooling like beads of molten metal Through the spectrum. Think what worse is the pond-bed's matter of course; Prehistoric bedragoned times Crawl that darkness with Latin names, Have evolved no improvements there, Jaws for heads, the set stare, Ignorant of age as of hour— Now paint the long-necked lily-flower Which, deep in both worlds, can be still As a painting, trembling hardly at all Though the dragonfly alight, Whatever horror nudge her root.

How To Paint A Water Lily
What I fear isn’t hairy eight legged creatures crawling into my mouth at night What I fear isn’t the whole “Something’s gonna come out of the dark and eat me,” while I’m trying to get a glass of water in the middle of the night. Nor even when my father angrily yells at me Because in all honesty he starts regurgitating spit from his mouth making it so hard to take him seriously when he’s drooling. What I’m afraid of is… I’m afraid of tomorrow… You see, Once upon a time On a Saturday Night I was so excited to finally finish writing my second chapter of my fan fiction Talking to a few friends. And relaxing from my stressful day of a Saturday. Then suddenly a wild message about financial aid appears, Now, This isn’t where my fears start coming to life This isn’t even where my thoughts were being provoked. This was just a simple conversation about financial aid information. You see,| My friend knows little about financial aid and my friend asked about the information I know. I thought, “Well I have limited knowledge on this…I’ll give my friend my best answers and hope it turns out alright.” Well, Things didn’t turn out the way I had imagined it. You see, This private conversation evolved into a group chat And even the financial aid information conversation evolved into, “How are you going to pay for your college expenses?” You see, I don’t fear of creatures with eight legs, I don’t fear of monsters in the darkness I don’t even fear of my father’s angry tone! I fear what tomorrow’s going to be I fear that my future will only just be a dream. It’s so hard to be focusing on where I’m going to be at next year when this year looks like the saddest thing on Earth. It’s so hard to concentrate on tomorrow when today looks like a horrible nightmare. Today, I’m stressed I’m not stressed about my grades I know I work harder than the average student. I’m not stressed about the guy I might like Because right now, A boyfriend is not what I be needing. I’m stressed that I may not get a job I’m stressed that my dad may lose his I’m stressed that my mom can’t find another I’m stressed that I won’t be able to pay for my ACT Ticket I’m stressed that I won’t be able to afford my SAT Subject Ticket I’m stressed that I won’t be able to pay for my college apps And I’m stressed that I can’t get fee waver Because according to the government my parents make too much for me to have one When in reality My family barely survives on a paycheck. It’s getting harder and harder to survive on that paycheck Because presently speaking It’s getting harder and harder to pay to keep on living. And because I don’t have a job yet, My parents are still forced to pay for me to keep on living. I’m stressed that I’m not going to have a tomorrow I’m stressed that I’m not going to go to a college to pay college expenses for I’m stressed that this fear is going to keep controlling my life! But… I can’t let that happen… I can’t let this fear run my life. ‘Cause sooner or later its going to run it down tot eh ground and I won’t be able to recover from that I can’t let this fear consume me, Because I’ll never find a way out. I fear something… I don’t fear eight hairy legged creatures crawling into my mouth at night, I don’t fear monsters eating me alive while I’m trying to get something to drink. Nor do I fear my dad yelling at me. I fear of tomorrow. I can’t focus on where I’m going to be at next year when today is all foggy with no sign of light.

Then there came to be this place It’s called Israel Which is basically Palestine But mercilessly occupied It attacked Palestine And took over most of its land. So now in Palestine Or what’s left of it Where there used to be quaint houses There’s just a lot of rubble With broken and burnt doors, utensils and limbs Jutting out from underneath. Where there used to be bright smiles That could light up the world There now are tears, burn marks and bloodied cuts That can rend any human heart Except those that are not human. It is a war, not between states Not between races, nor between fates Nay, this is a bigger war, one of faith At least, that is how it started But now, it is between human and non-human. Tell me, please Is it human to **** innocent people For the sake of self, and the sake of hate? Is it human then also, to remain quiet And watch such tyranny be? It must also be human, to point guns at 4 year olds. And by this definition, Humans of this world, humans that feel Are not humans at all, because they care And those that don’t, well They’re humans at their prime The most evolved of them all. Israel, I salute you, a salute full of mock At your utter humanity, and benevolence Your bombs when they land With the cheers of your people, And your guns when they point At 4-year old terrorists; surely they can **** Palestine, I stand with you, sincerely Your children, your people, your land and your peace Are my children, my people, my land and my peace Their bombs when they land, make my prayers fiercer Their guns when they shoot, make my eyes water But know this, Palestinians, we are one. So when they shoot you, I bleed And when they bomb you, I ache When they hurt you, I feel the pain And when you cry for help, I pray We are blood, we are one body We are the Ummah, we will rise. Until then we pray, we pray and we try Dear Palestine, stay strong, stay firm… Help shall come, in ways unimaginable *Do not weaken, and do not grieve You will overcome them, if you are true believers* Allah has promised, and His promise he upholds. ~Moniba.

ode to the tortoise beetle
A Serotinous Pine there, Where winter snows soak into thirsty soil but relentless summer sun bakes motionless Every plant a tinder held close to conflagration, in a season's Russian roulette of forest fire. This pine seals precious seed away from every spring’s promise, lest burning destroys every one. Only searing heat during torched consumption triggers the last gentle act, At the knife’s edge of apocalypse itself, opening cones of seeds. Fluttering down to new life on the other side of time. Tiny bright green amid black ashes. Swimming Penguins Birds evolved to fly in ocean. Wings to flippers, feet stepping clumsily from water. Yet eggs must still nest, their babies still breathe. Safety is the very precipice of existence, on bitter ice at 60 below, Sheltering their young clustered from blistering winds, fasting from sustenance, While heaven’s glorious Aurora flame silently over their winter dreams. So what then are we, on This Earth? Cerebral Creatures, Storytelling Animals. Minds created to sense spiritual constructs. Living is the method of our creation, Sheltering each other from inherited trials With contrived joys and sufferings distracting each other from the soul freezing fearful cold of the Empty Void And consuming fire of electric chaos. In the End, our sacrificing gift for our children is God.

I lost a friend last night because my poems are too dark. She said they scare her, and make her cry. She said she can feel me slipping with each verse, and that she'd enjoy them if they were written by a stranger she never loved. She said she feels her heart going out to me but she had to pull it back because she needs to keep it for herself, so she can see though her own issues. No one ever stays because once they see me naked of my walls they stare into my sheltered world and see things that would make even the Earth cringe. It's too late to destroy it, because my thoughts have evolved into a race of beings far more powerful than myself. They'll be the death of me, but their empires will stand long after I'm gone, before my time. But every once and a while I can hear one or two of them praying to me, begging for me to bring peace to this world inside my head that I have no control over. They don't realize that I'm not a god, and that their whole existence is nothing but the product of years of abuse from a universe they cant comprehend, that I can't comprehend. So I sit nailed to the couch, suffering for their sins while pointlessly checking my phone for a text from that friend that says “I'm sorry”

So there’s this woodpecker He pecks all day Peck Peck Peck Peck Peck Peck Pecks his life away Ever seen him stop and wonder? At the glories of the world and beyond? Did you ever see? Him staring at a tree And thinking about Joyce Kilmer? Nope, can’t recall Any such incident So why should I stop And smell the flowers I don’t see Why should I write a poem As beautiful as a tree When no one else gives a **** I should be hanging around friends Rolling joints with the money for my rent I should be the eternal narcissist Like the one who sits above But we’ll come to him later Right now what I wanna know Is what gives me the right to control Everything I see And everything I don’t Coz frankly speaking There’s a lot I don’t know What gives me the right To play with someone’s life And blame it on ignorance? I thought someone could tell me Someone could answer The stupidest question in the world But if I ask someone Why they’re doing something They all say the same thing Coz everyone else is. Good. So now we’ve got that cleared. I’m doing what I’m doing Because everyone else is doing what they’re doing And everyone else is doing what they’re doing Because I’m doing what I’m doing To sum it up, None of us know what any of us is doing Or why they’re doing it. Looks like we evolved backwards. At least the apes knew what they were doing. Sleep. Eat. **** Have *** Sleep. That simple collection of words got what the people Who call themselves the brainiest guys in the world didn’t: Logic. And I’ll tell you why they didn’t get it Because they were the birdbrains Who came up with the idea of a nuclear bomb Which has really set the bar for human stupidity No one can surpass that. Because the ‘logic’ behind the nuclear bomb is “You give me what I want Or I’ll blow up your country” People in the highest position of their respective countries Spent money exceeding ten times the number of their population On such nuclear bombs. Which, in fact, they’ll never use. True story. Tell you the truth, I’d rather be a woodpecker.

The farthest man made object in space, Voyager 1, is over 20 billion km away from Earth. On board is a phonograph record, brilliant gold, containing sounds and images of what life is like on earth, A message to whoever is able to listen, a literal shot in the dark. On it is an inscription that is perhaps the most beautiful sentence I have ever read TO THE MAKERS OF MUSIC ALL TIMES ALL WORLDS a time capsule, a gift, from us To anywhere and everywhere A hundred years from now or a thousand Our belief that no matter what time Or world you belong to, melody and harmony and rhythm, can bring us together, can communicate. On the cover Are figures, explaining how to operate this record Hieroglyphics from what by then Would be ancient history Messages in binary, the 1s and 0s Our position in the universe marked by our distances from gigantic pulsars, the star map to our home, the creators of this message There's beauty in this marriage of math and art Code and music As a way to communicate with the universe. Some of the images on the record are the most beautifully simple ones, Of us, humans, drinking and eating, laughing, of animals, nature, food and architecture. Then there are images of our scientific observations, mathematical calculations, our discoveries, Like a child showing off Look, look what I can do! Black and white and in colour, Pictures, proof that we, indeed have lived and achieved. The music, classical, our very best from Bach and Mozart to Blind Willie Johnson's Dark was the Night. But all of this can only matter, can come to fruition if someone exists to receive it, and is evolved enough to comprehend what it means. But that's the thing, everybody knows, That's there's a slim chance of this record ever being heard, and it's much more possible that the Voyager will simply end up as floating debris in the cosmos, but it doesn't matter! We just want someone to know that there was a species of bipedal, intelligent animals on this blue planet, no different than finding graffiti in alleys that read I WAS HERE. WE WERE HERE, WE EXISTED. And it's all about that hope, the hope that someone will see us, our pictures, listen to our languages, our greetings, our music, and remember us, even after we're long gone. Or perhaps we will one day be interstellar space faring people as well, following the path of the Voyager, doing what we do best, Explore.

The enigmatic consciousness of it’s relatively interrelated conception was spontaneous and yet it continued without elemental omniscience . Perhaps the essence of our being is the logical counterpart for the matrix of our subjectively conclusive social fragmentation , or perhaps we are evolutionally incapable of cumulatively rational correlation .  Problematic diversity could be perfectible on an individually infinite level or contrarily perhaps ubiquitous causality is the ultimate survivor .   In any case it is beyond our subjugatively rational cohesive coercion to intercede en masse on our own behalf as an integrated unit. Our conceptual abilities have been thwarted by the unmitigatably individual nature of our extraneous conclusiveness .
