Aine, Xav and Ga, their dog,
Were hiking through the Sifton Bog
On Sunday morning, sunny and warming,
Hunting for their Easter eggs;
When Ga sniffed, then barked in a hollow log.
What is it, Ga? Aine asked in wonder
Is it a frog? Xav asked Pumper.

But Ga smiled and left to lift a leg.

So Aine peeked in one end,
Xav peered in the other.
It was hollow, that's for sure,
They waved to one another.

Oh!... But Oh!... something moved inside.
Brown and hairy, with flaming red eyes.
It moved at Xav, who stepped back, then cried:

Aine, come here! Come here NOW!

Quick as a flash she stood by his side.

(Together they would live or die.)

With twelve powerful legs and six beady eyes,
It leapt at them, then hopped outside.
There cuddling ‘n twitching at Xavi's feet,
Were three wee bunnies, cute as can be.

Ooooo, Ooooo, they both sighed.
Can we take them home to feed and keep,
And play bunny games till we fall  asleep
!
Xavi asked. No. Xavi begged!

Hmmm, thought Aine, quite perplexed;
But then remembered what her parents said:

Be cautious with our furry friends;
The birds, fish and earthy crawlers;
When you find them,
Be careful-kind,
And they'll be with us always
.

Still,  Xavi worried, so he asked his Sis,

Are they okay if left like this?

Hmmm, thought Aine (who's getting real good at this).
Let's call Granda.
Tell him what we've seen.
Mom says he knows everything
.

(They Zoom Time on Mom & Dad’s phones)

Hello, Granda, this is Aine.
Xav and I have a question for ya.
We came across some wee bunnies
Huddled in their home.
Are they okay if left alone
?

Granda heard their concern,
So he told them all he had learned.

All the bunnies I have known,
Have done real well when they have grown.
I knew Buggs as a wee bunny,
And he grew up to marry Honey.

Rabbit's a friend to Kanga and Roo,
And Mr. Rabbit got carrots tricking Cap’n Kangaroo.

Miffy was Kathleen’s first rabbit friend;
Mark loved Velveteen’s happy end?

And Roger starred in his own movie,
Like me, your Granda, he's so cool and groovy.

Thumper keeps thumping his left hind foot,
And Br'er Rabbit’s still naughty in all his books.

The White Rabbit leads Alice down a hole,
Where March Hare’s late... as usual.

If you like heroes found in comics,
Read Captain Carrot, he’s supersonic.
I can't forget Crusader Rabbit,
He rides a horse and feeds it carrots.

I’m sure you've heard of Beatrix Potter’s
Tales of Peter, and his sisters and brothers.

All these rabbits were once wild bunnies,
Now in movies, books and funnies.

Why, even magicians pull rabbits out of hats.

Your three wee kittens were left alone
While Mummy Bunny left on her own
To gather food bits to feed her wee kits
Waiting for her safe return.

I surely hope I’ve allayed all your fears,
Don't worry, your bunnies are here for years.

But there's one more bunny I should address,
And I'll tell you who so you needn't guess
This bunny's the one we might like best:

It's the Easter Bunny, au chocolat
!!

Xav and Aine were much relieved
To let their bunnies
Live wild and free.

Thank you, Granda.
Hope to see you soon.
Happy Easter, and too-da-loo
.

And off they hopped for some Easter treats,

Pumper got his treat back home.
Leftover from dinner-
A tofu hambone.
Written for my grandchildren, Aine and Xavier (Xav). Their dog's name is Pumper, but they also call him Ga. The original has many pictures embedded in the verse, but they don't copy to this site.  Kathleen and Mark are the parents. The Sifton Bog is in London, Ontario.

It was a Sunday morning
and by gosh what did I see
I think it was the Easter Bunny
staring out at me
He had a basket filled with eggs
and chocolate butter cups
But when he saw my shotgun
he knew his time was up

He dropped his Easter basket
and fell upon his knees
He looked into both barrels
and said “Mr. If you please
I'm just the Easter Bunny
come to spread some happy joy
From house to house
and door to door
for every girl and boy"

I considered his objection
as I held him in my sights
If he was the Easter Bunny
then I didn't have the right
But his head would sure look pretty
mounted up upon my wall
Right between the Tooth Fairy
and Santa's jingle *****

I pondered this dilemma
and I chose my words with care
"I've shot a lot of critters
but I never shot a hare"
I decided I would let him go
I'd let the moment pass
But when he turned to run away
I shot him in the ***

So now he's mounted on my wall
above the fire place
Between the red nosed Rudolph
and Cupid's smiling face
They'll be no need for colored eggs
come Easter time next year
The Easter Bunny's on my wall...

With buckshot in his rear
My hypothesis on the reasons for global warming...

                                       Easter
                                                  Rhymes

                Lots of the candy
                                              Lots of the fun
                                                                         A time to rejoice
                For the bunnies we see

                                                                      Dreams of Easter
                                         Dreams of love
Dreams of every child
                                         Who dares to see
And have yourself
                                A merry little Easter
                                                                   I wish you all
                                                                                           Happy holidays
Here we go round the bush
looking for presents left
the easter bunny has a blade
and I think he wants me

My cut throat easter bunny
your blooded blade don't make it funny
you want to chop and hack me to death
my evil easter bunny

I've seen you laying eggs
death traps in flower beds
you are one evil bunny
and you're gonna **** me

All I want is a bite
of that chocolate delight
not now rabbit stew
for human will now do

On a bright and delightful Easter morning
A furry white rabbit, wiggled her pink adorable nose
Peeking through lush bushes
In a lovely and distinctive pose

And jiggled her cottony soft scut
Aiming into a vegetation
On this sunny day
With so much motivation

Quietly hopping into a blissful garden
Placing decorative filled eggs in pastels
With little time to rest
As she quickly inhales

Adding vibrant colours, to an emerald spiky blanket
And into a rainbow of unfolding tulips
Enlightening her way, like a dazzling carnival
For little peeps enjoyment, upon soft winds movement

Beginning in the latter daylight hours, as tots of all ages
Eagerly carried empty interwoven baskets, on their quest
Pacing through, as in peekaboo
And observing who competes the best

You may find it to be amusing but I don't think it's one bit funny.
I have a twenty year old son who still believes in the Easter Bunny.
I tried to raise him to be normal but sadly, I was bound to fail.
He also believes in the Tooth Fairy and the Wizard of Oz as well.
When it came a tornado, he started singing "Over The Rainbow".
He thought that instead of being killed, Oz was where he would go.
Luckily, that tornado wasn't severe and no people were killed.
I've failed to convince my son that the Easter Bunny isn't real.
When he sees kids hunting Easter eggs, he says they were hidden by the Easter Bunny.
Will somebody please take my son off my hands, I'm prepared to pay a lot of money.
I'm scared of my son because he's obviously a lunatic and I don't know what to do.
Don't laugh, you could also end up with a grown son who believes in the Easter Bunny too.

In the middle of Easter,
As I watch from the window
Snow flakes pouring heavenly.

      In the middle of Easter,
As something strikes into my mind,
The snow falling, is the resemblance of falling in love...

     In the middle of Easter,
As I keep staring at
The snow melting on the ground.

     In the middle of Easter,
As I come to a realization
That if you fall in love, it will brake and melt.

So I say, “Never fall in love, but LOVE. Never love just anytime, but love when you know the time.”

What luxury to get mad
about last night's basketball loss
and watch the full moon descending
at the speed the earth turns.

Things could get worse
personally and for the community.
Bombings, killings, anomie
boiling frogs and witches cursing.

The changing climate,
typhoons in the Philippines,
volcanoes and tsunamis, WWII which I missed,
Thanksgiving nor'easter, Easter twister.

What abundance to fast or feast,
your choice, stay inside by the stove
or go outside, climb the mountainside.
Live in a city or small town.

So I raged at the coaches
for their lazy zone defense
like an alien in the bleachers
unable to affect the outcome.

When my sons came home
I yelled at them too. What opulence
to be angry about nothing of consequence
neither stopped by the cops nor slipped on the ice.

In her Easter bonnet

It was so very long ago.
The world was full of hats
in those far off years.
In the spring
the hat maker came to our home.
She pinned her felts and silk
to my mother’s head.
Added feathers and flowers.
My mother would be beautiful
for the Easter parade.
I still can see her lovely smile.
I tried them on when she was out.
Until my head became too big.
One hat in each box
representing one more Easter.
The hat maker came until the end.
Then when the
chemo took her flowing hair.
We sat outside of her bedroom
all of her children.
The hat lady came that year
for the last time.
She left solemn and quiet
her old eyes cast to the floor.
We all went in her bedroom
to see her last creation.
On her head a beautiful
hat with flowers and fruit
and ostrich feathers.
Her head perfectly covered.
Not even a sign of her lost hair.
And that was the last time
I saw my mother smile

It's that time of year again
When that rabbit comes, and just like a hen

He leaves all those little chocolates and eggs
For all the little ones, with their little legs

They dart around the yard, zipping back and forth
As though they were celebrating, July the fourth

Little kids carry their Easter bags, and with glee
They find the small chocolates, especially under the tree

Once they've had their fun, and eaten their fair share
They cuddle up with their families, warm as a bear

To show how much they love eachother, towards their mum
They throw the sweetest kiss, like a cake of ***

On a day like today, that only comes once a year
'Tis not only Easter, guess what else is here

A birthday for your mum, on this nice Easter day
Isn't it nice to know, she's turning 40 today?

Show your affection, for more than one reason
Forgetting about today, should be considered treason

I say, "Happy Birthday." You give me a smile
And even I know that It's been awhile

Since you last heard those words coming your way
But what better time to hear them, than today

It's true that I love you, these feelings are not locked in a chest
Happy birthday, mum. Have I told you, that you're the best?

Before I ever write this tale
I hope you will all forgive me
It was just a horrible accident
It was dark and I just couldn't see

I was driving home one night
On a narrow country road
It was raining, something awful
When I heard my tire explode

I lost control and couldn't stop
That's when I started to swerve
I heard a thump and a terrible scream
As I came to a stop in the curve

I thought I'd hit a possum
Probably even broken it's legs
Imagine the horror that I was in
When I saw all those Easter eggs

Yep, you guessed it
I had killed the Easter bunny
Ok, everybody stop laughing
Cause I really don't think it's funny

I tried to find that poor little rabbit
And maybe give him CPR
But when I finally found him
He was stuck to the grill of my car

So, I picked up the little fellow's basket
And all those broken shells
I had to get rid of the evidence
Cause you know how a rotten egg smells

I buried him in a shallow grave
Under a giant oak tree
His basket and all the easter eggs
Are in my trunk under lock and key

Well, again, I want to apologize
So, forget everything you saw
At least, we know that a rabbit's foot
Just isn't that lucky at all
nearly time for easter not to long to go
a favourite time of year one that we all know
lots of happy children happy bright and gay
celebrating easter as they play away

lots of easter eggs for every girl and boy
there very favorite thing that they all enjoy
lots of easter chicks as yellow as the sun
running all around having so much fun

a lovely time of year with happiness galore
especially for children thats what easter for

I saw Peter Cottontail.
I swear I did. It was he!
He was in a bar last night,
And he WASN'T drinking tea!

Sitting next to him, I said,
"Hey, ol' Pete, ol' buddy, ol' guy---
You've got time to take a break?
How so? Please, tell me why."

"Cut me some slack," the poor guy said.
"Humans have a nasty habit
Of placing incredible expectations
On this weary, forlorn rabbit.

"Hiding billions of eggs, come on!
I'm not omnipotent, as you must know.
This task has been ****** upon me
Since a long time ago.

"What's more, I find it rather disgusting
And NOT in any manner funny
When I see a kid chomping
On a chocolate Easter bunny.

"Furthermore, to pass on baby
Rabbits as an Easter present
Is NOT from MY point of view
A practice I'd call very pleasant.

"And as to candy resembling chicks,
To me it seems so surreptitious
When you're saying, 'Oh, how cute!'
But really thinking, 'How delicious!'

"I think it's time to pass the baton
To  another generous benefactor.
I don't care who it is;
Find a willing, starving actor.

"I suggest an Easter squirrel,
An Easter bear, or Easter goose.
With so much on my plate there's no
Time to even reproduce."

I left poor Peter there at the bar
As he switched to drinking brandy.
I hope that he is able at least
To pass out all of his eggs and candy.

Some believe in Santa Claus,
And some believe in God,
I believe in the Easter Bunny,
I know the path he trod.

He passes through many streets and towns,
Leaving, on his way,
Many eggs and gifts and sweets,
And games for all to play.

Easter comes but once a year,
Though its roots are divine,
We understand the joy he brings,
At this special time.

Here comes the Easter Bunny,
With his fluffy tail,
He dances through the countries,
Quickly, as careful as a snail.

What Easter Really Means To Me

The pain that he had felt that day in the garden. Knowing full well that he had to go to the cross. As they spit in his face with blood gushing out his flesh yet he pressed on. Having stopped briefly for a good samaritan to go further to carry his cross.Jesus Christ died almost 2, 000 years ago. On the cross for all the world to see. What was his prayer what was his final plea ? Father, forgive them for they know not what they do. He said the prayer now the rest is up to you. Just imagine having to wear a crown of thorns upon your head ? Having large nails go through your skin into this bone with blood gushing out. Spear in his side. Those many lashes that he took upon him by the Roman guards. Still he endured the pain knowing full well he had to die to fulfill his great mission. By taking all of mankinds sins upon himself. Happy Easter Everyone & God Bless You (Poet Mario William Vitale).
A poetic reflection from my blog--
I have been reflecting this weekend on why we create space for Good Friday and Easter Sunday in our calendars and our minds but skip over Saturday. What I have come to realize is that we as people are so locked into our own experiences and our perceptions of what is happening around us that we remember the visible Gospel work of Christ and not the invisible.

Christ lived a visible life. He spoke in streets, from boats, on mountainsides, and in temples. He did miracles in private and public, depending on the need. He healed a man's servant from afar and healed a few men's friend from paralysis in front of a full room.

Christ died a visible death. He was hung out and hung up to die, strapped and nailed down to a cross raised on a rocky hilltop, bleeding and vulnerable for all to see. While much of His pain is unknowable and unseen, His death and anguish were cruel and yet necessarily public.

Christ rose a visible resurrection! The entry was open, the stone moved, the wrappings empty, and the guards stunned. He appeared first to Mary, then to the men on the road, then to the twelve. Thomas, who doubted much like I do, both saw and felt the holes of his Savior's substitutionary sacrifice. Christ visibly ascended Home, shining with the love and light of His and Our Father as He physically reclaimed His heavenly throne.

But what about the time between, "It is Finished! Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit", and the resurrection? What about the lingering stench of apparent defeat and death? Did His spirit stay in the shell of the body until Sunday morning? As we do not believe the Spirit lingers in our own bodies after death, then certainly we can state that our Lord's did not linger in his mortality. If as the Nicene Creed says our Lord descended into Hell itself, why do we not pause to think about what He was going through there? He took the weight of the world's wrongs on His soul when He died, and how does that weight suddenly disappear when mortal consciousness fails, but spiritual life remains? Just what happened to Jesus Friday evening through Sunday morning?

Christ worked invisible work. My point is that though we could not see the work being done, the spirit of our Lord Jesus was as eternally living and active during temporal death as his word, and the other two members of the Godhead. While His body was in the tomb, His soul was living an eternal weight of turmoil to free us. Eternity was our punishment, and so in three short days, eternity for us He bore. He not only took our grievous problem to the cross, He paid for our physical and full spiritual punishment as well.

Oh Christian, remember today the invisible scenes of the Gospel story.
The world once lived in the tension of the in-between, in the three-day-exhale of a dead Savior before the sudden breathe of Eternal Life with the Father for us and our Precious Co-heir forever. Linger a while in Saturday, in the thought of a spiritually redeeming yet physically lifeless corpse in a tomb, in just how much was needed to save your eternal soul from it's eternal and fully earned punishment, and in the tension of the in-between. For as we linger for but a day, our salvation is for an eternity. As we reflect on our brokenness on Him for a moment, our healing in Him is forever. As we dwell on the severity of our need for Grace, Grace becomes all the more beautiful and amazing.
Hallelujah, He broke the tension! Hallelujah, the soul of our Savior returned to it's shell and He being one in body and spirit walked out of His, and our, tomb once and for all. Hallelujah, He is working invisibly even now to bring us back to Him, and when He returns, remember the immortal truth that every eye shall see Him- Our King, Our Savior, Our Good Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Application-- On this day roughly 2,000 years ago, Christ was doing the dirtiest, darkest, most unseen, and most mysterious work, to save us. If you today feel like your Savior is dead and gone from your life, remember that unseen work he did for you on Easter Saturday. Just because you can't see, feel, or know in the moment does not mean that Christ isn't hard at work for you even still. Wait but a little while longer, and see as He reveals the glorious work He has been doing all for you all along. As Romans 8:28 promises, He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him. We may not see the good now, but there will come a day when the unknown sacrifices of Our Lord manifest as known blessings for our souls. We will see Sunday morning.

Easter Sunday
Easter Sunday is the Christian celebration of the resurrection
of Jesus of Nazareth from his crucifiction on Good Friday.
If you are not a christian or even if you consider yourself to be one,
and do not place much belief as to whether or not this event actually
took place, but is symbolic in nature, have nothing to be apologetic for.
For those of you who do totally believe in this miracle, because your faith
says to that you do believe, I will not ever challenge. The more important
issue to me, go back two spaces, is Good Friday, as it is called. This day
has much more significance to me.
Jesus, no matter how you perceive his person to be, Son of God,
or King of the Jews, or a not so normal politician, performed a function,
that benefited all of mankind. Whether or not he absolved the sins of
man is up to the believers. What he provided mankind, is measurable and
unmeasurable at the same time. He was the pioneer of Human Rights.
His teachings caused the revolution of thought. His actions stirred the
thoughts of a yearning civilization to reach for higher goals. To bring
attention of the elitist of the world, that they will be held accountable for
their actions, somewhere, sometime. To give a hope to the struggling
peoples of this world. For this, I give thanks and will always look inside
my heart to find what is right.
There will be those of you who read this, that think I am a total idiot.
That I really have no knowledge of what I am speaking. I say to you
that you are probably right, but I welcome your thoughts on this,
and I feel that this is exactly what I am presenting to you, about the
significance of this entire weekend.
Happy Easter everyone, whatever your beliefs.

You said we can't kiss till Easter.
Who says I'll want to kiss you on Easter.
Who says I want to kiss you now.
Now you want to kiss me,
After changing your dresses and hair and nails.
And after
getting-it-out-of-your-system, you want to kiss me.
I want to kiss you on Easter.
I want to kiss you right now,
I want to pull your hair and and smear you lipstick.
But I won't tell you that.
Last time I did you ****** on my tires.
EASTER

Celebrates Easter, all around, the entire Christian world, on this auspicious day.

Kiddos enjoy the Easter baskets, eggs n Bunnies , in every corner curled, happy n gay!!!

For us it is a very very special day, it's memory with us will always, forever stay.

An icy cold day at Niagara Falls it was, in 1984; when we couldn't keep the cold at bay;

I impulsively requested a lift and met Leena and Grandma on this very special day.

Took us she around the falls, almost into Canada n to Grandma see, on the way.

Dropping us at our motel, after a sumptuous Italian meal, at a posh restaurant, she went away;

Only to surprise us with a big Easter Bunny n basket, n gifts many; as in our room we lay.

At the desk, cancelled she the taxi booked; n back came early morning,  bright n gay

She first home drove us and with gifts umpteen loaded us; Santa on an Easter Monday !!!

At Buffalo airport, dropped us she when; overwhelmed we were and didn't even know, what to say

We thought never would we meet them ; never would we be able to come back, to see them some day !!!

But a relationship strong grew, letters n gifts lovingly exchanged we; visited them we did, one day.

Lovingly, a good morning n night I wish her, every morning n night, even today;

May in Heaven happy they remain; our dearest Grandma, Leena n Arlene I pray.

I love the love of Easter
Everybody hanging around
But not with the virus
Social distancing is still goes down
But we still have the famous Easter bunny
And we still have the truth with Jesus
We still have chocolate eggs and bunnies
We still have plenty of old geezers
Believing that they were Jesus who died on the cross for us
And they sing songs of worship
Songs of worship
Jesus is the man who created this day
And god made heaven to get rid of your sins
Every day Jesus is getting closer
To rising from the dead
Bringing happiness to this world, mate
Yes it is a happy day
Eggs and bunnies along the way
Come on Jesus show us who is better
And that is every one of you
Ok dudes party on
Say goodbye to the old on Friday
Welcoming the new on Sunday
And gather your housemates round
For a coronavirus Easter party
Where everybody parties all day and night long
Happy Easter happy Easter
Yes it is a HAPPY DAY
Very happy for everyone around
Happy Easter

There is something about churches—
the sanctuary filling slowly,
brass ***** pipes arrayed like halberds
in a medieval arsenal,
stooped ushers handing out programs
as the congregation
accumulates softly
like snow.

And the pulpit—like a queen
in a hive of wooden pews
all of polished walnut,
stands hushed and expectant.

(I know within that pulpit
there is a place to put cough drops,
a legal pad, second pair of glasses.)

Sanctuaries have a peculiar smell,
redolent of potted lilies,
Youth Dew perfume,
aging hymnals,
the suspired breath
of five hundred faithful
lifting their voices to that soaring
Byzantine dome.

I was glad for your presence that day,
the sound of your marvelous
voice, the warm sense
of your shoulder next to mine.
You cradled a hymnal
benevolently in your hand
as though you were baptizing a child.

"Jesus Christ is risen today, Alleluia!"

I sang more loudly, I suppose,
for gratitude that you were with me.
I held my hymnal with more care,
sang and looked up more hopefully
to that pulpit than I might otherwise
have done on any given Easter.
I prayed more ardently for good things to happen,
thought more kindly of the man
beside me who wouldn’t make room
when we three entered the pew
but stared blandly ahead as if
waiting for an opera to begin.

When the minister spread his arms
in benediction and bade us all go in peace,
we stayed to hear the postlude
and watch the Easter crowd
wind its way to the narthex
and spill out into the boisterous
parade on Fifth Avenue.

I sat there and listened with you
as the organist played his sonorous farewell.
When I was a boy sitting next to you in church,
you might gently pat my thigh
when the organist’s final note
passed through the sanctuary
like a great bird in flight.
You would smile as if to say,
“You made it through the whole service!”

On this Easter, when the hymn began,
and the mighty ***** notes swelled around us
like God’s own voice in song,
it was the thought of your shoulder near mine,
your hands upon the pew,
that halted my singing for a moment,
to let a silent bolt of longing
pass through me
like a solitary dog crossing a road.
Then it was gone, the thought,
but so, too, was your palpable nearness,
the idea of your voice
ringing through the church
like a celebration.

In your Easter Bonnet, with all the frills upon it.
~~~~
An Easter bonnet on every girls head
Pink, green, yellow and some times red...
Some had bright flowers, set on the side
Others had ribbon, wrapped around and tied...
It was a beautiful sight, those colorful hats
Setting pretty on moms, daughters, and sometimes the cat...
A land Egg Yokes and Cracken Town assortments
Duracell Bunny being full of energy
But today the Duracell Bunny narrating the surprises
It is the time and place
The Town of Easter land is where our story is the trace
It’s the citizens being Rabbits and eggs
Then we encounter Mr. Egghead
He is the Governor of Easter Land
Now every year the citizen folks of Cracken Town and Egg yokes have a challenge every year
You may want to step back and not be near
You could have egg on your face
Over in Cracken Town is where one crack deserves another
Each competitor is different than the other
Cracken Town Gang are determined to remain the reigning champion’s
But are they ready for a possible defeat?
I don’t want to make this story over easy
Perhaps even cheesy
So everything is set, and the atmosphere is in the air, the fragrance of spring
Yes including the Bee sting
So Cracken Town and the Egg Yokes are now in battle
Now hold on to your saddle
Oh no, the Egg Yokes is going to hit that too late, the horse rider
But the horse rider is ok
Wait a minute the horse rider is now in the battle as well
Do tell
Another fight indeed, but let me continue to narrate in proceed
I am only trying to do a good deed
I don’t know why I feel like I am in the town of OZ
Eggs thrown and cracks made
This is definitely an egg war
The Egg Yokes are playing, but Cracken Town folks are no joke
The score is Egg Yokes 8 and Cracken Town 10
So Cracken Town has an edge
Well Cracken Town scored another point
So Cracken Town remains the reigning champion once again
So Easter as they say, it’s Easter Land saying hooray
Happy Easter I say to you, let happiness continue to shine all through
Passover or Easter or Happy Any Ole Thing, Sam I Am
she
asks me good naturedly
which to wish me - a happy this or that
and a poem’s immaculate conception is instant arisen arising
hot ****
rueful smile and unruly reply
a solid out loud Ha!
neither either or he writes and so believes
for I am a god loving man,
whom we’ve -Him/It/Me have agreed
that I may call
Sam I Am
and the answer to your question is
why not
for most quests and questions can be well-answered
why not!
my genes my historical beings my ancestors and my issue
all declaiming that I am a jew who left egypt, no defaming, a slave to no man who cannot love another like his own self
but some in all that I write, this deity boss slips in quietly unseen in one of his jokes-on-us-disguises like singing ave maria
and thus whose to say
his rightful name, is not
Sam I Am
my choice and the big D
     (a self-employed informal his choice, nom-de-guerre)
has agreed via his acknowledgement in his normative style of
low volume taciturn tacit acceptance
so wish me a u happy
anything you want-to-call-it-day
don’t matter. but know this u were there
when, all on that happy day where, @ the manger,
when this Sam-Approved-Appeared
poem was born and Sam blessed it with a
hot ****!
she laughs, tosses back in my face, some schematic I
prior penned that I can’t recall the when or where or my
nom-de-guerre employed but fits this ex-slave perfectly
“there are no lines or lies in my writings
there are no definitions and
perception is only your truth”
happy
easter cool is fun when the holy day is done
because the holiday began with jesus rising from the grave
the way we celebrate's by eating candies that we crave
that strangely enough were planted in our backyards by a giant anthropomorphic bunny that stands approximately six feet four inches tall and one day decided that he would take it upon himself to commemorate the return of jesus christ our lord and savior by laying eggs full of jelly beans on the private property of innocent Americans i mean who gave this thing permission to do so how does he even lay the eggs and for that matter how does he get the candy in there did he create the candy or buy it from a supermarket if the latter is the case then how did nobody notice the  giant anthropomorphic bunny that stands approximately six feet four inches tall in the snack aisle did none of the employees at this establishment find that a little bit strange or are they used to it at this point do they just wait for the abomination against god and man to walk in once a year and buy the entire store's stock of candy and while we're on the topic how about we confront the question that we all have which is what gender is it like i know i've been saying "he" which i guess is the general assumption but still none of us know for sure maybe it doesn't even have a gender because of its  mythical and magical and legendary status which makes me wonder what gender god is because it's kind of a similar thing in a way like everybody knows the easter bunny is a thing but nobody really gives it a gender we just say "he" because why not and we do the same thing with god in the bible they say "he" and "father" so we still do today but times were different then and we live in a very progressive day and age so people are starting to question the idea of assigning a gender to a deity that we can't even see or fully comprehend so how are we supposed to figure out if it's a boy or a girl or what race it is even that's a good question too what race is god and for that matter what race is jesus many would say white but once again that's because white people during times of accepted inequality couldn't imagine their saviour being any other color but if you think about it he was born near the middle east or somewhere around that region so it seems odd that he would be white at all but who knows really maybe white people lived in the middle east back then or maybe jesus's parents were the black sheep of the place they lived in or white sheep i guess it depends on whether or not you're trying to stay accurate to the analogy or make a clever point on race by flipping it to white sheep instead of black jesus was probably seen as a black sheep okay definitely that's why they killed him and then three days later he proved them all wrong by coming back from the dead which then birthed the holiday of easter which oddly enough we celebrate by eating candy that was given to us by a giant anthropomorphic bunny that stands approximately six feet four inches tall
i like easter :)
