I got this body from some people I knew, For a while, at least, And all of its shortcomings Including shortness Were presaged, previewed and More than adequately demonstrated Over the years we lived together. In the years I ignored that, listening Rather to their voices Which illustrated another prophesy less physical And am now stunned to welcome Both my Mother and Father In the shaving mirror everyday.

I Got This Body
My teacher once demonstrated that if you placed a brilliant diamond before a clear mirror, you would only see the reflection of that brilliant diamond. With that knowledge, I placed you before that same mirror, and asked why you still argued against logic.

The power of contentment is a strong force, composed of the sense of inward sufficiency; for we’ve been promised the strength to succeed when we open spiritual eyes and dare to see… His divine plan of grace and abundance for us. Christ, the Alpha and Omega, beginning and end, demonstrated His Love with actions at Calvary, giving us the privilege to be called His friend. We should not be worried about personal needs, for we’ve been equipped to address all of them; study The Word, apply His principles to your life and you’ll enjoy Life, without feeling condemned. For contentment has nothing to do with your wants; it’s being satisfied on the way to where you’re going. Boldly ask God for wisdom; trust Him and His timing; continue to be blessed by the seeds you are sowing. Don’t be affected by Life-stealing, negative emotions; find your identity of being one of His girls and boys; real contentment is the underlying power to be happy- learn to lean on Biblical promises and the Lord’s joy! . . . Poem: Power of Contentment
As one chosen by God, certain attributes are demonstrated with loving regularity; despite one’s beliefs, showing kindness requires a daring of spiritual temerity. For The Lord expects His children to give Love towards people without expectations; know that being tenderhearted, helps one to naturally extend actions of compassion. Don’t think lightly, about the richness of kindness, it may one lead to repentance; its warm embrace softens the heart, while Salvation overrides Death’s life sentence. The merit of kindness can’t be overstated; being accepting, forgiving without judgment means not rigidly imposing beliefs on others. As His children, one should make investments in the individualized development of others. With the “Fruit of The Holy Spirit”, growth and maturation can be properly accelerated when applying by the principle of God’s oath to “humbly walk in Love” (as He requires). Kindness is patient, when paired with respect, justice, long-suffering and unconditional Love; the value of kindness, no one should neglect. . . . Poem: The Value of Kindness
I followed a boy on his impromptu journey to the forest (or at least what I once thought it was). he walked with a nonchalant disposition without saying any word. his gestures demonstrated it all. it’s ludicrous that I reluctantly stepped forward to the vast and dense forest in front of me. I was not scared at all. I discovered amity within the zigzagging branches and peace in this endless labyrinth. and after a long and intense journey, the dazzling sunlight captures his figure: his tanned skin was wrapped by falling leaves, laying down at the top of the rock (in which I always wonder to see what he’s dreaming). for once in my life, never have I thought silence could be so much pleasing as that.

Dar Al-Hekma University hosted its second fashion show on Sunday that featured the work of its second batch of fashion design undergraduates. The event, titled “Luminosity” was held under the auspices of Princess Reem **** Muhammad Al-Faisal. President of the university Dr. Suhair Hassan Al-Qurashi said: “Providing such events to our students before graduation exposes them to industry leaders of their prospective industries and gives them a head start in their careers. “Dar Al-Hekma University’s students stand out because of the combination of their high caliber and the opportunities the university provides for them.” Along with industry leaders, families of participating students attended. The event started with an opening speech by the department chair for the fashion design program Dina Kattan, who then introduced the sophomore and junior students’ work. Afterward, models wearing three-piece collection garments designed by senior students scheduled to graduate this year took the stage and were graded by four judges. Kattan said: “I am so proud of the work my students presented today; they worked really hard and they deserve a big hand. “Everyone was impressed with the level of creativity and attention to detail they demonstrated.” The judges were Batool Jamjoom, businesswoman in the fashion industry and manager and owner of Jamjoom Fashion House; Amra Alabdalilsharif, director of the innovation and visual merchandising department at Rubaiyyat; Dalal Al-Hasan, a fashion designer; and Aram Kabbani, Dar Al-Hekma alumna and fashion stylist. The grades students received during the fashion show will form part of their final grade. One of the students whose designs were featured at the show, Zahar Algain, said her collection was inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo. “Studying fashion has altered my perspective. I view fashion, in the same way that I view life; it’s a matter of balance and proportions. “My interest in avant-garde fashion has led me to believe in using creativity to solve difficult situations. Algain’s collection was meant to blur the line between art and fashion. “It is inspired by Frida Kahlo but with a fictional twist. “The story behind my collection is a daydream, a magical love story, an artwork; it is splattered with Frida’s colorful soul and spirit.” Following this women only event, Dar Al-Hekma is organizing a one-day fashion design exhibition on Tuesday, which is open to all. ONE LAST OUNCE OF STRENGTH OF HERCULES

*...after what feels like years of falling off the horse and being advised by well meaning friends that the best course of action is to get right back on, it has dawned on me that rather than falling off the horse I am indeed being thrown, as demonstrated by the invariable trampling I receive while trying to regain my feet. I have therefore decided to take this as life's way of telling me to stay the **** away from horses.*

Horses
got myself a donkey yesterday got myself a donkey yesterday
 and tethered it out there in the yard;
but when I looked out the window
 I noticed
it looked glum, moody and testy
so I went out to see what I could do I tickled my donkey
and he cackled and laughed a lot
 and he hee-hawed aloud -
but yeah, you can bet your ****
I got the bigger kick out of it my donkey died You remember the donkey
 I bought some time ago?
Well, I stopped feeding it for a week
 and the stupid animal died
just as it was finally learning to survive
on clean air, positive thoughts and vibes that's a donkey on the table so my donkey died
and in my grief I lay it on the best table
 and I drank and drank

and people who came to mourn
 brought some hay
but some of them said, after two days
 (and I was still drinking-mourning):
"You can't just leave that lyin' on the table

" "That's not a lion, you idiot!
" I barked at each one of them "That's my donkey on the table!
" And so I'd demonstrated my ability
 to stay sober
 and retain my piss-picuity
in spite of days of grief
and like me I am sure you too
cannot but marvel at people's inability
to distinguish between a lion and a donkey donkey ride now that my donkey is dead
 it makes me reminisce
about the good times we had
 ________

 We were in the car
 my donkey and I
as I took it for a weekend ride
 which was my habit

And a traffic cop stopped us
 and he said:
 *“Hey, what you doing
with a donkey in the car?
 Take it to the zoo”

* The next weekend that same cop
 stopped us
 and he asked me:
 *“Still with that donkey?
I thought I told you to take it
 to the zoo"

* “Oh, I did,” I replied
*“and we enjoyed it so much
That was an excellent idea, thank you
Now we’re going to the beach”* donkey at the cinema the other time
 my donkey insisted
I take it to the cinema
 and so I did -
not that I got a kick out of it
but just so that I didn't get a kick

 anyways
 we were watching the movie
when the guy seated next to donkey
 said: *"Hey, you're a donkey.
What 'r' you doing in the cinema? "

* And donkey replied:
 *" I reviewed the book;
now I'm here to review the movie"*

Long ago, a Savior was born and hidden within a humble birth; covered with the cloak of humanity, His presence impacted this earth. Although we remember His birthday, know that Christ is no longer a child; He stopped being an infant, who was… helpless, quiet, tender and mild. He grew in strength and wisdom; He demonstrated His holy authority; He lived as He divinely taught; He set the example, for you and me. He gave of Himself completely and paid the ultimate sacrifice. He embodied God’s covenant of love; His actions were timely and precise. After suffering the shame of crucifixion, He was briefly buried in a rock-hewn tomb; three days later, He triumphantly exited with a glorified body from Resurrection’s womb. Today He lives and sovereignly rules; so people of faith, it’s time to agree that we must continue to live Godly lives, seeing that… the manger is still empty! NYC ranks first in global competitiveness: report
I am making a desicion to clean my body of your hollow whispered bruises cracks in my diaphragm your words left sizzling there like acid that dripped from your lips I forgot the deception that swam from your eyes I have never been stupid enough to believe that you were only one when there were three. But we stood and watched that house burn never feeling colder, than we did that night. Im sorry your brother died and took your parents with you. So you are an orphan that demonstrated car crashes in the mere rhythm of your hands or melody of your speech. But I find myself drawn to angry cobalt blue eyes too often enough to know that I cannot grapple out of your choke-hold and frozen fingers will bruise me every shade of your roaring ocean-like blue. I can only admire the sapphire in your soul from a distance and hope the red ruby rage turns to wine and not blood. I have left my marks on too many wooden floorboards, pleaded with too many icy aquamarine eyes; from boys with steel in their voices but a fury in their hearts. Too many fingernails stuck between infinite spaces somewhere in houses where the silence reminded me of the stillness of a teal lake in spring your eyes are reminiscent of a grey morning I do not wish to remember I will leave a mark here.

THE LITTLE RED DANCING SLIPPERS
What a name! what a joy! To have her called by Mrs yours, What a beauty! to load over a a man, Nayanoi is the name, brought up by a mother who is embedded to tradition, It carries all fame and this is not a game but another ingredient  to tame monstrous heart union. There is indeed  touching  love after perennial failures, Rejection over rejections builts emotion-shielded heart, It kills dangerous emotions,it destroys barbarians. Such is life, don't you know, Nayanoi demonstrated the saying, Marrying a man not for money but love, I have came to admire the Maa community, They don't fake around they are what they are. Unlike ******** who are really cheap indoors, But fear displaying it in full glare of  our cameras Nayanoi won my heart, As a true African woman, She is the wife of my kinsman. Am not lusting for her, she deserve all the earthly praises, A woman sired and raised perfectly, She wears all the smiles in her face, Knowing she is a beauty queen and not a braggart.

Poem: The Manger Is Still Empty
Ancient Athens demonstrated a demise of democracy into despair and squalor at the hands of the voters. Ancient Rome recounts a reduction of a Republic into nationalist rancor at the hands of the state. The United States of America is a sort-of culmination of both; of how a Democratic Republic may fail, impoverishing and subjugating it's own as well as it's proximity, reducing itself and any it can drag with it from a respectful idealization of Human Experience to a bloodthirsty, greedy, vapid shell of Fascisms past.

Democratic Republic
Infatuation bought you time to infiltrate the delicate tubes of her heart and organs with pretty words and the stroke of your fingers dancing along her collar bones. She was a violin wailing sweetly in the broken silence, wisps of your hair in her fist as you demonstrated to her your lustful affection. She clung to you. knowing she was an instrument, never admitting to warfare in her blood that boiled in fervor. White blood cells facing a legion of your searing kisses that swam through her veins till she bled them out. Your lips sang in harmony with hers as they pressed against her neck and shoulders moving urgently from place to place. She lie there beneath the weight of your body seething with guilt while you thought only of the girl down the lane whom had never felt your touch. Uncharted territory , you thought. And you left.

*********
You looked so big to me That Summer in Oregon I was only four when we Followed you into isolation New Hampshire seemed a world away All ties to home and family Shrank and faded in the rear view Hoping new & different...would be I left my doll outside that day Then lied to keep my fault a secret Your belt, that slipping sound I still hear to this day Spare the rod and spoil the child Was popular back then Americans had a right to raise up God fearing children with discipline The problem is you got it wrong God disciplines, it's true But love's the stronger, key component One you rarely demonstrated If truth had been a better choice My shame exposed, as was my skin Would I have escaped your wrath And be now somehow changed? She made the choice to live with you Sadly it was a package deal One for which I've paid the price A remarkable value nonetheless... My children never heard the sound Of leather belt and buckle strap Spare the child and spoil the rod Have been my choice instead

Just to let you know, I don't love you. I never did. Even though I said it, and demonstrated it. I can lie. Now you call me ***** when my back is turned. Go for it. I deserve it, but so do you. You ***** Honestly, you thought I would love you, and mean it? I used you. You're one of the biggest mistakes I could make. Oh well. At least you're gone now, I'm happy to report. One more thing, This poem isn't for you, or about you. Don't flatter yourself.
