"demerits" poems
I am neither lyrical JOHN KEATS
nor the great WB YEATS
I have never reached great heights
I am in my preliminary plights
I talk about fundamental rights
or the beauty of Diwali lights
most of my poetry is immature
but my friends praise it very pure
I know for sure
they don't want to hurt my heart
and never critisize my art
because it is the most sensitive part
But I know my own limits
I have got fewer merits
than unidentified demerits

Love, love is for, but not limited to all beings.
It is warmth, it is hurt, it is teaching.
It's ever-encompassing and should have rules only done through it.
Love can guide you if you spread it, so do it.
It also has the power to cause some to shy away or resort to fleeing,
while some are left searching for meaning.
Some want to control that for which they have the word in mind...
They then create a bind and blind themselves because they're not seeing real reasons
to why they loved at all.
Unconditional love is something not just out of a tale that's tall.
It's the reason why you fall,
but authenticity leaves you never smashing against the ground.
If there's love, there's no reason one should feel so bound and tied down
...both creating sounds that reveal the anti.
Love is your wings that gets you sky high.
Love is limitless, and should be cherished.
Love is not a point system, so stop giving demerits.
When love really flows in you, through and through,
you acknowledge the connections and let you be you,
acting out of kindness.
You stand up for what you feel is right because fear is spineless.
So act out of love.
There's too much negative energy, let's act out of love.
Together we can rise above, let's act out of love.

The Blackboard, it's filthy!
Shut up, my dutiful students.
My nasty breakfast is full of surprises,
I decided to eat it before my first day of school,
But me and Clint crossed that bridge together,
It was a bridge full of useless tears.
he told me about the demerits you gave him.
You are one sick *****

(Rap, not poem. sorry I cheat)
I can’t, I wont, let anyone get used to me,
I’m just the empty shell of the person that I used to be,
I say I’d never change for one girl,
But I’d change for anyone who claims to be my world,
Because I’ll do whatever it takes for some attention,
Be it getting demerits, detentions or suspensions,
I’m sick of this, everyday same old boring ****
I’ll ***** my lyrical ability to anyone who’ll pay for it,
To anyone who’ll stay for it, even half the duration,
No one really likes it, yet still i’m patiently waiting,
It’s to the point where I might say, hope is getting useless,
No record label, no future,
So stupid is the kid who thinks he’s got a chance,
To DJ anything bigger than a Junior High Dance,
(Chorus, spoken fast, x4)
I’m told to be appreciating
What I have, what I’m not
Instead of wanting, wasting time
On what I haven't got,

I never wanted 2 kiss you,
i just wanted 2 hug u tightly,
so give you warmth of love,
and realise your importance and all above,
the thing is that you've given me a mean 2 exist,
in a beautiful world u gave me which consists,
of your love and your precious time,
and your feel 2 keep me always fine,
i cant count ur abilities because it have no limits,
and the best thing is there is not even single demerits,
my eyes are always on you,
because you are so beautiful that
and i wonder that god make u,
for me.
You are a creation of love and sweetness,
and you love me as i guess,
and this is the best thing,
i had which bring,
an power with in me 2 live for your truthfulness and love,
you are the girl whom i was findin in my way of life,
this is d reason i live and wanted 2 alive.......

In the season of perspiration,
Where demerits of summer are in trend,
Few flowers and leafs are getting dried and shriveled,
Craving for shower.
As the Weather Department announced thunderstorm,
The Sun is on leave,
Flight of birds achieving new heights,
Dark clouds are rolling up in the sky blue
ocean,
Swiftly there's a fragrance in the air,
nodding of the trees,
chattering of the birds,
Posts and tweets of the humans,
Are the evidence of celebration,
A most welcome to the rain.

Punk, Hoodlum, Delinquent,
I'm the one who's the heathen
While your the one who's deceiving
Never asked for help finding an identity
I don't need something to believe in
Maybe some answers on why I'm still breathing
Nobody to trust, even Pastors slither when preaching
Rebel, Insurgent, Agitator
Obtained the belief "The Man" can't shape me
I'm not as easy as some of my peers
I won't just let you mentally **** me
That's why teachers,police and parents
All corrupted officials hate me
I'm not tied to religion
So not even your crucifix can break me
**Indigo, ****** Alien**
This puzzle piece too deviant to fit in your society
My blood too filled with Bohemian pride you see
I fell to this planet when our stars collided
It was depressing to find so many people divided
So I'm fixing my shuttle to travel back to Planet X
No I won't listen to your mixtapes on the way
If its just a ballad on guns, thoties and ***
Money and drugs aren't moral values they're demerits
Peace, Knowledge and Love what we all must inherit

stepping back to my cherished boyhood
It passed a quarter century to step out of my Alma Mater
My Santa Cruz High School…….
Still your revolving gate brings back
those cherished memories revolving back
there comes a ****** from the heart.
Stepping back into your court yard,
I feel the warmth of my mom’s arms…
The same warmth that escorted me
to step into your pavements on the first day.
Still I feel the breeze under the canopy of your rain-trees
hark! still we hear that cherished clang of bell
hit by Alphonse uncle in his unique rhythm…...
our beloved teacher’s voices are still flowing in the air
Now class rooms are empty and still,
But once they buzzed with our giggles and chats
They took us to the Daffodils of Words worth
To the frozen lakes of Robert Frost…
Through the lyrics of Tagore
And showed the renunciation of Gowtham Buddha
marveling arts and thrilling sciences
gave us wings to fly in colors
Friends who stayed in merits and demerits
stood together in good deeds and mischief
All those golden good old days
Of the teen spirits of arrogance
Enthusiasm and outraging curiosity
Joking peers and merrymaking leisure,
all those lessons earned us life
more than the scores those syllabus gave us.
