"crystalline" poems
What's wrong with you, with us, what's happening to us? Ah our love is a harsh cord that binds us wounding us and if we want to leave our wound, to separate, it makes a new knot for us and condemns us to drain our blood and burn together. What's wrong with you? I look at you and I find nothing in you but two eyes like all eyes, a mouth lost among a thousand mouths that I have kissed, more beautiful, a body just like those that have slipped beneath my body without leaving any memory. And how empty you went through the world like a wheat-colored jar without air, without sound, without substance! I vainly sought in you depth for my arms that dig, without cease, beneath the earth: beneath your skin, beneath your eyes, nothing, beneath your double breast scarcely raised a current of crystalline order that does not know why it flows singing. Why, why, why, my love, why?

Love
Metaphors for blue eyes There's one for every shade of blue A rainbow of silken language meant to charm They're as common as the color itself But recently I've come to realize Why Her eyes Dark, under curling lashes and golden hair Like crystals flashing from the rough Dream-catching sunbeams and sparkling Like the summer sun on a warm pool A medley of sapphires and diamonds That I wouldn't trade for the world His eyes Fairy pools of magic wonder The not-so-secret glimmer of bright water An enchanted river whose glow Is the bright warmth of an autumn day Crystalline water that welcomed my touch The still surface broken when he laughs

Metaphors for Blue Eyes
Out here in the fields of the distance whither the wind blows the silence further afield; roughhewn footprints show a windswept pathway   from whence feral feet lightly trod    Only the passing whispers chase after the gypsy wind: that the silence be in quire, placed aloft like a sigh, pealing through the gentle sway of sweet grass' hush There are no walls need echo an evanescent wind-song as each breath of earthen psalm vanishes lilting into the crystalline quietude colour; The callused patience still held in these hands is frayed and tattered, but hope heals stronger than a ream of paper wings to fly away And I'm mindful I'm not alone again, lost in a lingering silent storm — pensively listening — enraptured aneath all the big skies hold                       Jesse Stillwater

Out here in the distance
I have bruises like amethyst But the truth is I’m the catalyst When I see colours of bismuth I know you mean business Bruises like amethyst But you say you’re a pacifist An analyst an activist But you held my mind so it contorts, distorts And aborts so it can’t resonate or fabricate Or rationalise a world inside That doesn't exist and insists That I can’t be kissed and won’t be missed I've got a black heart like tourmaline But I'm the alkaline to your acid time Trust me I am fine, I'm a pale blue Crystalline Structural perfection Don’t need your affection or your ways Of objections did my bra strap give you an Erection? You could say I'm a feminist But I'm more of a scientist Busting body myths like biologist You say ‘but **** are ****** organs’ Listen you morons, all ******* are a erogenous zone Regardless of gender , boys nips literally have no purpose Except when they get nervous for getting a little lip service Trust me I'm fine, I'm a pale white crystalline Structural perfection I don’t need your objection Not a gem stone for your collar bone I don’t give a **** about Your muscle tone, I'm a cyclone all alone I could spend a 1,000 years on my own.

The female scientist ****** crystal rap.
The hints of a razor gleam creeping up from behind shivers begin to scream a thought undefined. Crystalline destruction manifests in shards of failed dreams circulation and cells cease I am dumber today. Clogging and fogging the mind promises cheat their way into lies when depression becomes a way of life serenity is found at the end of the line. Escaping the cavity in trails of shame in vigour and madness incapable of sadness. Black hole eyes cannot see the coming despair the next morning impairs certainty is a lie. Senses start to fail iron will turns frail the devil’s sugar and salt must never be taken so lightly. Subtle and methodical killing what makes you, you another round for old time’s sake, and you’re stuck to it like glue.

Meth-od-ical
Drifting back to the ocean like it never even happened unraveled dreams washed clean crystalline renaissance bestowed     by wind mountain spring waters rising from the heart of mother earth A remnant light glows deeply of one love's untamed wonders an unfastened feather glides abandoned rushing waters floating alighting pilgrim blissfully sails on stranded without wings a fallen wild feather free as bird wanting a place to be let free Sun in the summer air wind in buoyant feathered hair softly dancing upon wild river restless ripples to feel the love of holding on adrift asunder whence it touched on destiny's far-reaching journey yonder holding onto flowing rivers rolling towards the sea The incoming tidal waters blossom surge to greet wind river's gentle saunter converging slackening passage salt on feral feathered fragments arousing currents babbling swirl imbibed by the impassioned sea Wild rivers' born intentions a different kind of drifting passage to kiss the distant horizon where the sown sunlight settles submerged in shoreless ocean waters     to be free all at sea at last someone you used to know  2017

It's only water
What am I? Water of Love A kiss Divine? Each crystalline design A shimmering Angel! Dear heart, uncoil Open my seeking, hungry soul Reaching beyond the breath of freedom To sooth weary pains. Am I enough? Clasping each frozen crystal. Gently touching. Gently Soothing Each fallen tear. Gently touching. Gently Soothing Clasping each frozen crystal. I am enough! To Sooth weary pains. Reaching beyond the breath of freedom Open my seeking, hungry soul Dear heart uncoil A shimmering Angel Each Crystalline design A kiss Divine Water of Love   Am I.

The Snowflake
Onion, luminous flask, your beauty formed petal by petal, crystal scales expanded you and in the secrecy of the dark earth your belly grew round with dew. Under the earth the miracle happened and when your clumsy green stem appeared, and your leaves were born like swords in the garden, the earth heaped up her power showing your naked transparency, and as the remote sea in lifting the ******* of Aphrodite duplicating the magnolia, so did the earth make you, onion clear as a planet and destined to shine, constant constellation, round rose of water, upon the table of the poor. You make us cry without hurting us. I have praised everything that exists, but to me, onion, you are more beautiful than a bird of dazzling feathers, heavenly globe, platinum goblet, unmoving dance of the snowy anemone and the fragrance of the earth lives in your crystalline nature.

Ode To The Onion
Light , curvy rays, bending, while traveling from air to water world. My eyelashes - window wipers. Crystalline lenses, sending lovely but blurry pictures wait.. let me focus my retina, underwater dream, or is it really you? Dark, straight silhouettes, frightening, falling from the busy water above My chest - darkened vents reaching far, wanting lovely, but faint pictures I can’t wait any longer, for the dark room to lighten I need you to show me I take a deep breath And dive in again. Debrees of scars And piercing pain. Your soul still mauve and blue. I press my lips respiring pure love into you. Breathe your best into the spine of my life Expelling fortitude And forgiveness Hidden in this deep blue Revitalized for the first time This moment opened its eyes to see the beauty of what beneath the surface lies

Underwater window (A collaborative with Dajena)
I am a bird beneath the waves Though it be dark and blue and deep My wings are not best suited to the sea Though lofty heights are known to me It’s beneath the waves I wish to be To see the fish and how they breathe Through coral and the crystalline Though I am free With neither cast nor current in-between I am a bird beneath the waves I do not belong within the sea

snowmen, sleigh-bells and stockings (with holes)
I. Hear the sledges with the bells— Silver bells! What a world of merriment their melody foretells! How they ****** ****** ****** In their icy air of night! While the stars, that oversprinkle All the heavens, seem to twinkle With a crystalline delight; Keeping time, time, time, In a sort of Runic rhyme, To the tintinnabulation that so musically wells From the bells, bells, bells, bells, Bells, bells, bells— From the jingling and the tinkling of the bells. II. Hear the mellow wedding bells, Golden bells! What a world of happiness their harmony foretells! Through the balmy air of night How they ring out their delight! From the molten golden-notes, And all in tune, What a liquid ditty floats To the turtle-dove that listens, while she gloats On the moon! Oh, from out the sounding cells, What a gush of euphony voluminously wells! How it swells! How it dwells On the future! how it tells Of the rapture that impels To the swinging and the ringing Of the bells, bells, bells, Of the bells, bells, bells, bells, Bells, bells, bells— To the rhyming and the chiming of the bells! III. Hear the loud alarum bells— Brazen bells! What a tale of terror now their turbulency tells! In the startled ear of night How they scream out their affright! Too much horrified to speak, They can only shriek, shriek, Out of tune, In a clamorous appealing to the mercy of the fire, In a mad expostulation with the deaf and frantic fire Leaping higher, higher, higher, With a desperate desire, And a resolute endeavor Now—now to sit or never, By the side of the pale-faced moon. Oh, the bells, bells, bells! What a tale their terror tells Of Despair! How they clang, and clash, and roar! What a horror they outpour On the ***** of the palpitating air! Yet the ear it fully knows, By the twanging, And the clanging, How the danger ebbs and flows; Yet the ear distinctly tells, In the jangling, And the wrangling, How the danger sinks and swells, By the sinking or the swelling in the anger of the bells— Of the bells— Of the bells, bells, bells, bells, Bells, bells, bells— In the clamor and the clangor of the bells! IV. Hear the tolling of the bells— Iron bells! What a world of solemn thought their monody compels! In the silence of the night, How we shiver with affright At the melancholy menace of their tone! For every sound that floats From the rust within their throats Is a groan. And the people—ah, the people— They that dwell up in the steeple. All alone, And who toiling, toiling, toiling, In that muffled monotone, Feel a glory in so rolling On the human heart a stone— They are neither man nor woman— They are neither brute nor human— They are Ghouls: And their king it is who tolls; And he rolls, rolls, rolls, Rolls A paean from the bells! And his merry ***** swells With the paean of the bells! And he dances, and he yells; Keeping time, time, time, In a sort of Runic rhyme, To the paean of the bells— Of the bells: Keeping time, time, time, In a sort of Runic rhyme, To the throbbing of the bells— Of the bells, bells, bells— To the sobbing of the bells; Keeping time, time, time, As he knells, knells, knells, In a happy Runic rhyme, To the rolling of the bells— Of the bells, bells, bells— To the tolling of the bells, Of the bells, bells, bells, bells, Bells, bells, bells— To the moaning and the groaning of the bells.

Honey
you will go your way despite my protests no use lamenting what was never promised the sun rides low the horizon soon it will not clear the treetops storms gather in the northern sea needled wind to scattered seed hoary frost on yellowed grass dark leaves in mirrored puddles a suspended death crystalline and indeterminate there is no fire hot enough to stave off the first chill of a careless winter the numb hibernating sleep soft gray melting days the desperate wish to regain summer

Season's End
*At nightfall, in the midst of silence, The sky turned, Into a sheet of gray, And droplets of rain, Pleasantly came sprinkling down, Making tranquil musical sounds, Appearing to entertain. Landing upon an adorned bed of roses, In hues of reds, yellows, Pinks and whites, Lightly spreading their delicate petals, As crystalline beads, Gently dripped onto the ground, In a soft melody.*

I peered into the future and saw Possibilities dancing in semi-reality like snowflakes beneath a stormy sky. But the one before us was clear as ice upon the frosted curved glass. A madness has spread among the countless peoples of the world. A disease of the mind which makes it seem to the sick man as if they are made of glass. A fragile thing, so frail and delicate they might break upon any but the softest impact. The afflicted, day and night, scream in fear at any possible contact harder than the lightest touch. “I’ll break”, their blood-chilling screams echo through the empty halls of history. The world has broken in this future like a music-box wound down to silence. Men and women hide in padded chambers, for fear of breaking their porcelain forms upon a pavement or stones a toddler could step over. A cure for the glass does not exist, save for a light tap to show the ill that they are more than they believe. Yet the sick would rather not be healed than face the reality of their own resilience. The world cannot hurt you, my friend, but you yourself can hurt the world and shatter it like a crystalline snowglobe.
