Everything's fucked
Ain't just bad luck
That's brought us to this well
Where human weakness dwells
To drink with the devil is an honor unknown
As we watch the tales of the glories of Rome
Crucifixion masturbation for the less advanced

Pedro decided to conduct a ritual
By Sacrificing his Individualism
On the Cross.
Marie walked by and asked him,
"What you doin' there, Pedro?"
Pedro responded,
"I'm Sacrificing my Individualism on the Cross."
Marie sounded concerned.
"Won't you become like everyone else"
"If you Sacrifice your Individualism?"
Pedro asked her,
"Do you see anyone else out here"
"Performing this ritual?"
Marie smiled
"I guess you have a point there, my friend,"
And walked off.

One Crucifixion is recorded—only—
How many be
Is not affirmed of Mathematics—
Or History—

One Calvary—exhibited to Stranger—
As many be
As persons—or Peninsulas—
Gethsemane—

Is but a Province—in the Being’s Centre—
Judea—
For Journey—or Crusade’s Achieving—
Too near—

Our Lord—indeed—made Compound Witness—
And yet—
There’s newer—nearer Crucifixion
Than That—

In the meanest time of summer
when the sun cracks the pavement
and swelter fills your lungs
a call to the dispossessed is in order.
Consider the river washers,
and the alley dwellers
who are simply thankful for today.
Chew on a bitter piece of perspective
and ask yourself;
if you had to carry a cross to your own death
would you complain about the heat?

I used to drive my nails into
Your skin, some type of sexual
Crucifixion
They say pain before pleasure
But I know that aches
Are often felt months later
When paradise has become
Past tense
Like the scars on your back
Fading

I CAN ONLY BEAR SO MANY CROSSES
PILATE CAN ONLY CRUCIFY ME SO MANY TIMES
BEFORE I TAKE THIS INTO MY OWN  STIGMATIC HANDS
AND FINALLY RISE ON THE THIRD DAY

You put on your coat and you go down the stairs
Open the door but there's nobody there
Voices call clear 'cross the cold city air
Merry Christmas

I wonder if Jesus is happy right now
They say it's His birthday today
And candles are burning all over the world
And Calvary's so far away

Judas, I stand by the tree on which you hang
Why did you do it? You promised to take me out tonight
To watch the Crucifixion

Judas, I hope I don't have to cut the rope
You tied it like the necktie you would have worn tonight
As we watched the Crucifixion

Judas, my friend, you were so like other men
The difference was you struck a God, so I'll go
To watch the Crucifixion alone, so alone

The people chanted words I couldn't hear
The voice was indistinct but the meaning was clear
Now I don't know why there's a strange kind of sky
Will someone please explain?
It looks so bare but I feel the air
Just doesn't seem right for rain

I go from the scene, the words of despair
"Crucify Him" ring in my ears
And Judas, my friend, we're approaching the end
Explain my unreasoning tears

I wonder if Jesus is happy right now
They say it's His birthday today
And candles are burning all over the world
And Calvary's so far away

You can not become great by hurting the noble
Nor can you become strong by oppressing
The weak and the meek
My humility is not my weakness
Nor is your pride your strength
One can become great only by helping
The poor and the needy
And forgiving the faulty
And not finding fault with the mighty
Jesus can not be oppressed by crucifixion
His resurrection is the divine manifestation

What is it now
That does transpire?

What power
Moves these human forms ?

What UGLINESS !     ?

I see it
I absorb it
I ignore it

I BREATH
AND YOU LIVE

I SHALL GIVE TO YOU
ALL THAT YOU ASK FOR

AND ASK FROM YOU
ALL YOU CAN GIVE

••

The soft winds blowing
(Consciousness)

How I long to see you love each other

••

Our spirits
Cross the great divide

We meet

We greet each other
We are

Everyone alive

( we all say)

I BREATH
AND YOU LIVE

I SHALL GIVE TO YOU
ALL THAT YOU ASK FOR

AND ASK FROM YOU
ALL YOU CAN GIVE

The Great King Stands
Above the earth
As thunder rolls beneath
Tears of sorrow
Streams down His face
As His sacred Lamb
Calls out for Grace
My God, My God, Forsake me not!
In a moment of Silence
The King turns away
It cannot be complete
Unless for their sins YOU pay
And as the Son Cries out
It is finished!
Creation in silence held its breath
waiting, anticipating The act of The King
And as He reached down
Into our Realm
The Son wept and said
Eli, Eli! Lama, Sabachthani
And into the hand
Of the Great and Mighty King
His spirit and last breath flowed
And with it, sin forever slain.

The crucifixion of another belief
let's put good sense up on the cross
we will just carry on with no relief
as we continue to pay the cost

we are so tangled in the laws of gods
we should have better laws of man
let's fight fate and go against the odds
and keep denying what we understand

Your anguished tears are falling
like the rain upon the ground.
No one here to catch them now--
No one even hears a sound.

You turn away from daylight
and you plunge into the night,
nobody will see you
as you gather up the spikes.

Drops of blood are falling,
mixed with tears upon your floor.
No one hears you cry out
"Oh my God, what is it for?"

The angels all are watching,
but they cannot do a thing.
You pinned them so securely,
then you tore away their wings.

Your screams are silent as a nightmare
to the gods that sleep so near.
Your friends know you've been dying
just to get away from here.

But now your feet are fastened,
your hands are nailed up too.
there's only one place left
to take that cross on you--

Your bloody tears are falling,
like the rain upon the ground.
Lightning tears the charcoal sky,
but still there is no sound.

Hooded figures dressed in black,
like vultures at the kill,
come to take you to your station,
'way up on that hill.

You cry, "This can't be happening!"
You hear your own voice answer,
"But it will."
"Yes it will."
"You know it will."

This body swelled and store fat without my permission
they scream insults and it folds on itself.
Their sweet chuckles taste bitter on my ears.
fake smiles are my only offering to this daily crucifixion.

I rearrange my voice to answer them

But I don't

body shaming is real
