The Fear
I got a ruby secret I keep it in my pocket Only Zulu knows about it So I put him in a prison He thinks he's getting out soon But he doesn't have a clue He's just a little rodent But he thinks he's a Raven! He's in love with a prophet So now he's on a conquest But I planned his execution He doesn't know know about it He's always getting roasted Thinks he's a stallion He's really just a rodent But he knows my little secret I tried to sew his mouth shut But he had an objection! Thinks he's the president Shh.. "He's really just a rodent" I gave him a promotion... So now he is my magician He just keeps on escaping He's drunk again, talking **** Hey Zulu! Where are you running to? Everybody is looking for you!

ah, enslave without compassion bound ancestors you must impale go seek and show no mercy let those who escape carry the tale all the sufferers bearing witness to their ministers spilling their blood staggered screeches from bleak recesses regicide plotters bend to the dust with unmitigated conquest and ********** trample them under your tyranny slimy enshrinement brings into question what's divinely lamented for scatter populations with ruthlessness let them choose sycophancy or sword reappoint difficult commanders for instigation unbroken awaits kept in frenzy, they whisper confusion never quite sure of their fate with unmitigated conquest and ********** trample them under your tyranny let the cowardly unlock the gates for you to heroically claim what's inside crowds you abhor kneeling in wonder all the world is your ****** bride punctuate the roads with tollgates ***** monuments to broadcast your name all your banquet's guests are your enemies entertain them with one another's shame with unmitigated conquest and ********** trample them under your tyranny with unmitigated conquest and ********** trample them under your tyranny under your tyranny

Unmitigated Conquest and **********
The sea was once our prehistoric home. O how we adapted to its dark currents, to its India-ink infinities, chasing seaweed, driftwood and coral, before belly-flopping onto dry ground. Now, the sea threatens our ancestral home, the sea that falls from the angry skies with their charcoal-smudged infinities. A swelling flood, chasing red alert, destroying houses and lives; raining grief. Once sea-bound creatures now drown at home, ill-adapted to meet the flood's malevolent intent: to purge the Earth of all who cannot resist the rushing, rising mountains of waters, before proclaiming its final conquest of India's ancient lands. Now, only prayer will be our home, built on deepest despair. Now, only God's omnipotent infinities circle the mud-brown rapids of sludge choking all who helplessly cross their path. Only God can make Kerala and Tamil live again, as one, on dry, holy ground.

Poem for Kerala and Tamil Nadu
Aztec in arts Spanish in conquest The Mexican breathes And lives Taking control Controlling the taken, Our blood hot Like the chile we eat Don't expect any less Outside we are strong Desert cacti Sharp unforgiving and rough On the outside But the inside Water flows The love flows For la raza Death envies our vidas So rich and full Fearless And feared Tattoos cover our skin Like they did Our ancestors Soon we will rise Soon we will unite

The Mexican Breathes
The one is a myth I bid farewell long ago, Along with the illusion Of lasting bliss. That was a fairytale, I know- Concocted to charm little girls Whose parents could not bear To break it to them That they would never be a princess. But maybe it was not a total lie. Perhaps there are many ones Just waiting for The right moment in time To stop you with a smile, Maybe even stay a while. Then when the season changes, The one will too, And you will be blue, But then you will find someone new. Is it like going to the library? My heart is a bestseller- Someone new takes it for a spin Until a different story catches his whim. I was the right book at the right time, The patron has a wandering mind- It is not a crime. It is not like going to the library, Because they check out my heart, Then return it again- But they rip out their favorite page To keep as a souvenir of the adventure- Because to them, that is all it is: Another adventure, another conquest, Another stop on the road to where they are going. They do it without knowing The trail of tears they leave And the hot fire of rage. The one is a myth. There are over seven billion people here, But that does not mean that for everyone A prince or princess shall appear Standing underneath the tower window Calling, "Let down your hair!" Hey, I never said it was fair.

The one is a myth.
In times gone by, now recondite, Neanderthal, ***** upright, spoke softly, tones so lily-white, and tried to put the world aright. He taught us how the flame ignites that wearing furs will warm the nights, just why the rolling wheel excites, and how the beveled flint stone bites. Before the days of dynamite he fought his foes with spit and spite, and swung big sticks with all his might, and rendered death with stones in flight. Engaged in never-ending fight (arenas were a global sight) he forced his forces to unite to sate his oily appetite. To quell rude thoughts that may incite he ruled the realm with fly-by-nights and culled the winds of words in flight, and darkened minds to anthracite. With fairy tales of evil sprites and how the fist of freedom smites, he washed the world with flames alight to vanquish hoards of parasites. Each dawn the damage brought delight, the foe was bent, a bit contrite… yet battled on with no respite until the dusk and evening light. Encamped beside the firelight Neanderthal, that shiny Knight, awaited morn while sitting tight assured the end would be alright. Yes, conquest seemed his sacred right… Forevermore?… well, no, not quite… Neanderthal's extinct tonight and lies beside the Trilobite… MORAL The Oreo is round, not bright: while rolling near the candlelight at first the searing seemed so slight, the molten cream an oversight…

Land, The Mystery A Nature to One's Mind A Sand which Flows, And Glows And sparkles Success To One. Before Men, Before Cities borne out of Civilisation's Womb There was, And was known to many That it was Land, The Enigma, The Unknown to One. Who lives in the Deep, The Paradise Underworld Of Many, Of Millions, Of a Thousand Beings in Atlantis. The Impossible Is Done And should be Done By One. The Brave, The Humble, The Curious Juniour One Foot, That touches the Sand One Breath, Of Boreas' Air One look, Of Demeter's Feet One Meet, At Thriver's Friendly. And Wisdom, Has been Known, And Shown, The Impossible Has been Done. It is One's Dream, The Goal, The Conquest, For the Future of Existence. The Happiness, To many of One Nation's Grand Of Praise and Possibilities.

THE CONQUEST OF LAND
A sparkling key shimmers in the haze beyond my nightmares, A key to life made of light sets off a conquest, Mirroring it is the key of the dark, Which allows my red eyes of illusion, to haunt someones death or life. I have been looking for an answer, Some truth that determines my paths, my ways, While wandering about aimlessly, I can sense the trillion elements Getting entangled within my thoughts. This silver city of my thoughts, In in a chaotic state of order, Spiritual pain breaches its walls, Guilt and sorrow rain down, corroding the structures I so proudly built. Where would I be, I wonder, When this city finally falls? Unknown, misunderstood, Book of life, to which I hold the key, What is the price of a soap bubble? What is the cost of the first rain drop on the barren earth? What is the joy in a newborn's smile? Key to life, These hands which are weapons which wield weapons, Can you transmit my sorrow beyond the walls of my heart? Unknown to life, ignorant of death, Would you delude me with hope? And then there is you. With what reason do you smile, with such gentle eyes, Drawing me closer in the web of your love? I think I can now unlock the door which was always locked. Because you are the spirit I need, The demon of pain encased within the angel of love, You can provide my soul the element of pain and warmth, Listen to my heart, o Goddess, Transmutate what I was. The hand of the Goddess echoes out, Your love changing my past, present and future, The burden of my sins replaced with joy, Which key do I deserve to hold now, Now that the heartbeat of destinies untold, beat within your womb. The key to both life and death is slowly being born, Growing its wings in the loving glow of your flesh. Developing, as our bond reaches its peaks. Key to life, I thank thee for this, For invoking desire and passion in me/ Light and darkness consort eternally, Angels flirting with demons, The keys to both life and death hide now in the complex codes, In the memory of DNA, surpassing time. It is there sons of Adam and Eve, where my truth lies.

Remember your neighbourhood in the late afternoon sun Your body small, mind innocent Every image a wonder, visages of beautiful naivety The earth was a different place All you owned were a box full of toys and a smile on your face Love wasn't your hunt and conquest Adventure could only quench that thirst Wonderful, everything was Freedom in childhood

Childhood Neighbourhood
I am cut by the shards of my shattered dreams My hard heart broken by the fist of my own ambition Spilt milk and empty cups All karma now has gone For the Lord now slips away As his every favour, now has gone Alone now I stand in the shadows of my shattered dreams Lured I was by the mermaid's smile My dreams smash on the rocks of time Broken am I By the crashing waves of change All parts scattered and spread I find myself adrift On the ocean of Oneness The wolves of destruction devour all hopes and dreams And goddess Kali drinks the blood from my decapitated head I feel the force of my father's fury I stand in a field of rubble Where a castle of faith once stood My tears of ambition now fall emptying the seas of conquest That enslaved my marooned self on the island of desire Eyes freed from desire see the Love in Kali's eyes And thank the wolves for slaying my hopes and dreams for freedom comes to open A door to the deeper self

Shattered Dreams
I didn’t think I’d lose myself in you Hesitating to fall, It was a brave conquest At the edge of it all Looking down into a pit And so I went without looking Convinced that you’d be at the bottom To crush my fall Who knew you were the one to push me.

Cliffhanger
The things I never told you I'd like to tell you now, of feelings held contentedly inside my heart to swell; of thoughts and dreams, wants and happiness too; a mother's prayer to finally share with you... Lord, govern their lives as you have mine, touch them with your sweet divine, make them happy, guide their paths, tickle their funny bones, let me hear their laughs. Dry the tears sliding down their faces, hold their hands when the love heart races, make them stand tall when the burdens are great, prepare them to carry the loads of fate. Heal the hurts and sufferings of the spirit, make them listen until they hear it; that sweet song of yours that will touch their soul and carry them forward until they are old. Lord, let them see the meaning of life, protect them from the evils of strife, gently guide them in the path of your ways, I pray, Lord, I pray for them everyday. I know, Lord, that I fell short many times; in my guidance as "Mom" there were crimes, times that I failed to help them see the beauty that you have bestowed around me. Take their hands and lead them forward, give them strength to avoid the coward and evil ones that lurk about, waiting to swallow them up and shout the conquest of their gentle soul, provide them the coin to pass the toll. Please make things right, Lord, once again, help them to see the meaning of friend, loved ones that hold them close to the heart, a mother that loves them, never apart. AMEN!!!

A Mother's Prayer For Her Children
I To-night, a first movement, a pulse, As if the rain in bogland gathered head To slip and flood: a bog-burst, A **** breaking open the ferny bed. Your back is a firm line of eastern coast And arms and legs are thrown Beyond your gradual hills. I caress The heaving province where our past has grown. I am the tall kingdom over your shoulder That you would neither cajole nor ignore. Conquest is a lie. I grow older Conceding your half-independent shore Within whose borders now my legacy Culminates inexorably. II And I am still imperially Male, leaving you with pain, The rending process in the colony, The battering ram, the boom burst from within. The act sprouted an obsinate fifth column Whose stance is growing unilateral. His heart beneath your heart is a wardrum Mustering force. His parasitical And ignorant little fists already Beat at your borders and I know they're cocked At me across the water. No treaty I foresee will salve completely your tracked And stretchmarked body, the big pain That leaves you raw, like opened ground, again

Act of Union
She smelled like baby powder and men's cologne.   She gave me goosebumps with her every touch. She was as soft as silk, but she liked it rough. She was a conquest. Our legs intertwined - feeling every speck of flesh between us. Hearts working overtime to keep up with our rhythmic movements. Breathing in deep with each kiss, stealing oxygen. She was a dream. She bit my lip and pulled my hair. My nails dug into her skin and my teeth into her neck. Sin washed over us as I cried out for more. She was a goddess. We lay in the stillness of dark - exhaustion settling in. Feeling her wetness against my thigh. Tasting her on my tongue. She was amazing.

now that territory outweighs tolerance, we all just march in search of conquest, for it is this that we were born to do. no one questions this so called 'truth,' we just read outdated books and call them proof. for the right to destroy, we'll accept any view. give me this and give me that and put the rest up on a rack on the off chance i run out of things to consume. we're getting bloated and overfed but that still doesn't leave any time to rest because this isn't enough, and i need a bigger room. so i'll just take yours and when i'm done, i'll take his, and what i can't take, i'll drown in my **** . . . no matter what, it will all be marked as mine. and when the devil takes us up to show what we could have, we'll say, 'we fooled you! we took all we could nab. you've got nothing to offer us, so get in the ******* line, like everyone else we've got tagging along, weeping and praying, singing spiritual songs, and waiting for us to throw them a bone.' because everyone knows territory outweighs tolerance . . . it's easy to believe if you have no conscience, and you're willing to spend your life in your mind, alone. so that's what we do: march about and consume and destroy and defile and declare it as truth, and ignore anything that points to something else. because where ever we go there is never peace, we just breed violence like a ******* disease and pretend there is no such thing as a Self. because like mitochondria, we're ensuring growth and what's it to us if we leave dashed hopes trailing behind in our wake? get in the line, or lay down and die, but whatever was yours now is called mine, and i'm already looking for something else to take.

Why do the worms fiercely dig their way to the surface During rainstorms As though they're afraid to miss the spectacle? Don't they know they will end up drowning In pools of chilled sky-tears And get stomped by careless and hurried feet? Strewn across drenched brick and concrete walkways, Thousands, Yet each somehow alone in his own conquest. Drawn Like the moth to the flame And my eye to the sun.

On a new conquest, I embark Travel light I found the temple in the dark Wet, yet warm Beautiful stems Curl around my arm Deeper I go The water does flow I feel it in the walls I hear all of your calls Carrying on, through the dark damp walls I found the spot, The spot that has eluded all A trophy in the form of a waterfall Cascades over me.

Conquest
She's a selfish lover, armed with stunning beauty. She hunts joyfully for an innocent & caring heart, She wants to satisfy her longing spirit. Self validation by conquered hearts. Conquests, like trophies on a night stand. Each victory validated by a wounded spirit. Her potent satisfactions soon dwindles. Repeated victories, must be obtained. Scores of bleeding hearts form rivers of tears. Each conquest screaming from nearby roof tops. Her Reputation becomes known by many. The walking wounded, They protect their dulled spirit With raised eyebrows and gently shaking heads, With muffled voices they warn, she is trouble waiting to happen. I have been bitten by her kind of love. The sting lingers in my heart, The scars noticeable in my spirit & in my eyes. I have her disease now. My heart longs for love. Not for Revenge! But, for recovery and for self validation!

Validation by Heart Break
It’s time to discover your roots Your heritage from the very beginning History in the making being an inning Being surprised in what you will find out You mighty have somebody famous that you want to know more about Now gather your research and see what you find out Perhaps your roots date back to a craftsman who designed something unique Maybe a celebrity figure who has reached their peak Then later you find out they also tweet Maybe a slave who was part of the plantation war Ancestry eye heritage into another Physical portrait of the other Heritage that gave you a start Your life was creation being a new mark Heritage from yesterday Destiny being your journey Your future prepared from the very beginning Your past too help you preserver on A moment of reflection, “Knowing how to get along and knowing in life in where you belong” A distance journey ever after with tomorrow having a defined meaning, and with the conquest of information too what has been longing.

DO YOU KNOW YOUR HERITAGE?
You look for love. But only find fools. The kind that only wants to use you. Funny thing is some women like them over the good hearted men. This saying all men isn't no good. Is only true if you like been used. Cause the good men stands alone. They have a house to call home. And a ride to get by. And always the gentleman you can rely on. But when they approach you. You come off mean. Which essentially dictates your day. Because around no rude woman will a man stay. But when the fool comes to you. You open up. Tell them everything under the sun. And after he has made you a conquest. Then we're right back at point one once more. Learn from your mistakes. Adapt too. Cause good loving will always come to you. Once you accept the heart of a good man. Believe me. All men not bad.

Learn From Your Mistakes
What did I pause about the other day- was it at the kitchen table? I think so- I was sitting down next to my fluorite crystal- something occurred to me- it was a pleasant thought, I remember, something a bit marvelous, I winked at my pretty little stone and she winked back. Oh! I think it was sparked from Arundhati Roy’s novel God of Small Things. Or no, I think it was the smell of spring wafting through the window that transported me to sweet grass-stained jeans at six. (How Consciousness can subvert Time! Making past present, making present eternal and infinite- undermining order imposed and idealized- tirelessly trying to give itself, but faltering before the closed fist of human conquest). Or perhaps it was the language and sensation simultaneous that lifted from within me this deep affection- for what, I do not know. For everything and nothing, I suppose. For all that is and all that be—and all that must cease to be.

Reflections
A child wakes up , to mosquito bites, and Christ-on-a-bike-it’s-diwali , the fiesta of lights. the welcome vibes of halcyon tarried as hugs and gifts and smiles are carried, and waving her wrinkles mid-air ,daadi says today! god , to his land was ferried. Afar, the bronze herald of worship time, the temple bell goes off in a celestial chime. and cometh the priest , for the fire-ritual, line my pockets now , come on , be spiritual. but duh! your dhoti hast no pockets , saintly dummy; tsk.. fret ye not , for it goes straight into my tummy. mid-morning now , and mummy’s high-strung; ‘dust it well and dust it thorough and dust it till you burst a lung’. ‘garam pakode’ !! cries papa in his croaking tenor , ‘but one by one’ and now he begins with the manners. mummy is the last one , picking over the bones, she always has been , for what a family she owns. A muezzin somewhere cries the holy decree heads bow down and a pigeon flies free, from the onion dome , below the staccato claps ‘Ooparwala ! … ‘ the muezzin gasps , and ‘Ooparwala!.. ‘ a crowd chants in tow , and ‘Oops ! … ‘ the bird sheds it’s something and ***** soars high , and takes a bow . hey presto! the night has come. the moonless night of the homecoming lord. sweetmeats and sugars and syrups and us , laddu-barfi , well , that strikes a chord . Lakshmi , her owl , the glutton god with his mouse , revered an’ pleased an’ fed an’ flattered , and coaxed never to leave the house while out there , bombs and crackers burst and batter. The witch’s hour already , and the man ain’t home yet the lord is home , to get things straight, while the men all out on a greedy conquest; pennies on the dollar , unwavering faith still, for the beckoning bait . A child wakes up , to mosquito bites gone now is the carnival of lights. a goddess fled , a father bled a child scrapes off the waxy remains , the leftovers of candles ,pains, and no gains.
