THE MIRROR MAN SEES
This trumpeter of nothingness, employed To keep our reason dull and null and void. This man of wind and froth and flux will sell The wares of any who reward him well. Praising whatever he is paid to praise, He hunts for ever-newer, smarter ways To make the gilt seen gold; the shoddy, silk; To cheat us legally; to bluff and bilk By methods which no jury can prevent Because the law's not broken, only bent. This mind for hire, this mental ********** Can tell the half-lie hardest to refute; Knows how to hide an inconvenient fact And when to leave a doubtful claim unbacked; Manipulates the truth but not too much, And if his patter needs the Human Touch, Skillfully artless, artlessly naive, Wears his convenient heart upon his sleeve. He uses words that once were strong and fine, Primal as sun and moon and bread and wine, True, honourable, honoured, clear and keen, And leaves them shabby, worn, diminished, mean. He takes ideas and trains them to engage In the long little wars big combines wage... He keeps his logic loose, his feelings flimsy; Turns eloquence to cant and wit to whimsy; Trims language till it fits his clients, pattern And style's a glossy **** or limping slattern. He studies our defences, finds the cracks And where the wall is weak or worn, attacks. lie finds the fear that's deep, the wound that's tender, And mastered, outmanouevered, we surrender. We who have tried to choose accept his choice And tired succumb to his untiring voice. The dripping tap makes even granite soften We trust the brand-name we have heard so often And join the queue of sheep that flock to buy; We fools who know our folly, you and I.

In my Thirty-Fifth Year I juiced this Remark The Crisque-Plaque Hotel named after a Tree Sturdy, of Signage enhance the Grade's Bark Wishing all else their Best Service was Free If not the Years to Good Degree advance: Fruits, Pasta, Meat, Veggies and Japanese Mix the fricasee to match that of France And serve it on a Platter, if you please Only if the Staff were shy; But informed How noted the needs of their Clients were One Gesture made, took the Meaning lost cause Pour some polished Suggestions done on here. Thirty-Five Candles blown, all without Flame It was still my Best Day; All just the same.

THE ACACIA HOTEL
Sustenance for friends and clients; state your case – come one, come all. The matron arms of Social Service will not let you fall. Food stamps make our nation stronger, licked, then stuck on the public roll. Social programs last much longer adding recipients on the dole… Like the Ephesian Diana many are my benefits! Mine the matriarchal manna; latch and suckle at my teats. Yours the client’s right to nurture. Mother will supply your need; Child, you must not fear the future – feed, my baby, feed. Call me nanny, call me Lord just make sure you’re calling on me. Mine are the gifts you can afford they’re taxpayer-funded, worry-free! Once you are latched I’ll keep it flowing like an intravenous habit. Keep that ****** situated where your will can never grab it Let it never cross your mind that there’s an end to all lactation. Cloward-Piven have refined this titillation. Love me.  Need me.  I’m the State. Your well-being is my affair. With your consent I’ll dominate, because I care.

I sing of life at state expense a state devoid of common sense addicted to obesity impolitic in body weight yet headed for austerity as other people’s money ends plebeian class-revolt transcends our bureaucratic history. They stack the monthly welfare decks complain the service second-rate those sullen clients, thankless louts pajama-clad with tattooed pouts whose girlfriends swell while babies cry; the fathers mumble, sagging high and wait in lines. The women try to fool the lunar period conceptions waxing myriad while teenage dads discover *** and social workers cash the checks the daily urban nightmare is enough to scare a nation broke in clouds of marijuana smoke: the cashless global mystery. The breeders born in tropic lands are tempted till they take the bait no baby-momma understands what family means, what life demands Your undertakers overstate in order to remunerate your Democratic history: a bankrupt urban mystery the not-so-Great Society. The ghetto sperm-donation ploy makes babies but maintains the boy to run around from mom to mom slow-motion population bomb as if to merely demonstrate that social program funders wait till number-crunchers aggravate the urban teenage welfare state.

Farewell, Welfare
We pass laws about things we don't like. Or don't want in our community. But when you look through the microscope you amazed by those you see within the lenses. Oh, we protest the strip clubs and that environment. But pay attention to the visitors or clientele. Always seems to be someone we know so well. The businessman. The police officer. The minister. Hosts of others You know, those important fellas Especially , a few elected ones. The same ones supporting the bans on things. People, even protest Walmart cause of the small family's store facing competition. Oh, forget about the jobs for those unemployed. Forget about customers to get a slow economy back on the path of recovery. We, don't want the street walker disturbing visitors going to the store too. After all, they have secrets to create several havocs to a happy home. Again, when you look through the microscope or witness the news. You shocked by their clients too! Same, with the dealers of drugs. Who? When arrested we amazed that his clients might be teachers/ministers/politicians/judges/famers and the hard earn worker. Looking through the microscope reveals the sinners controlling us.

Through The Microscope
To my boss, I'd like to dedicate This jovial kind of poem though It really turns my stomach Knowing that I know him I'd like to feign concern For all his woes and cares And pat him firmly, on the back Atop a flight of stairs When he goes on holiday I like to wish him well And hope he's going somewhere warm Like the furnaces of Hell He meets with lots of people Such as his clients and bookkeeper Why can't he meet someone new? Like for instance, "The grim reaper" If he should pop his mortal coil That would not make me grieve The thing that ticks me off the most Is, he shares the air I breathe He bores me with his witless jokes They're no cause for celebration The only time he'll make me smile Is at his burial or cremation Nobody seems to like him That's not open for debate I suspect when he's behind closed doors He likes to … err… fiddle

Ode to a good boss
Snow White in fact to hell and back pursued the seven Dwarves Who daily mined their businesses and never minded yours She danced the ground where hammers pound She sang in quadraphonic sound She knew her scene was just on screen And screens were not of human beings She knew her life in truth to be Light flickering through transparency And that she soon as all cartoons Would roll back to her film's cocoon Then a sticky floor for a Disney ***** A princess serving clients She did her part, now Dwarven hearts Can beat the blood of Giants

Snow White in Fact
Harried, Harassed, Hassled and Hounded- These are the H-words I work by. Harpies and Henchmen, Harridans and Heathens- These are the H-folk I work with. Hubbub and Hokum and Hurly-burly- These are the places I do it. Hoodlums and Hooligans, loaded with Hubris- These are the clients I deal with. Heartless and Horrible, Hateful and Hurtful These are the attitudes around me. Hopeless and Hapless, Haggard and Helpless- This is the way I usually feel. What happened to Happy, and Hopeful and Harmony- These are the H-words I search for. Hinder and Hobble, Heckle and Hamper- These are the Hamstrings that trip me. Heaven and Harmony, Humor and Honor- These are the things that I strive for. Havoc and Hades, Hurt, Hate and Hauteur- These are the H’s that I have to conquer. Hope, Help, and Herculean effort- Is How I will finally get myself Home. ljm

Protest it. Unless you employed by the government. Rules are totally different. If officers violate the laws they serving to protect us. Stand up for your rights to protest. We in America not one of that dictatorship country. Why? Do people feel athletes can't protest? They go on strike for various things not right to them. Not one stated the protesting the anthem. Not one. They protesting injustice. And rightly so. So fans are mad than many probably never saw the youth that protested in the sixties against a war. Whether you agree or don't. Always stand up for your rights. So a so-called billionaire never paid taxes and won't reveal his income tax forms using idle threats. The only one filling the role of kiss-up is the owners. Without comprehending, if there is a sporting showdown the most likely won't win. Most likely to be the losers when Coke, Pepsi, Nike, Papa John and host of others clients profits fall. A business suffers highly when there no solution solved. Most fans that go to a sporting event are a great majority of whites and be the ones crying the louder. If ever done wrong and need attention to get people on board. You protest, you stand up and stand out. A small church pastor rose to be great by taking on a segregated system. The only one mad about tearing segregation is who? The race need not be mention for a majority hardly stand up for anything. Well, unless it's the NRA. Even with violence in school from high powered weapons. There they go defending the NRA. And the weapons they protesting against isn't truly needed unless you at war. But they standing up for their rights. So players, stand up for your rights. For CBS/ESPN/ABC/NBC stands to lose too. If a majority of players stand strong against wrong.

I’m busy as a bus. Ten hours on the telephone, research resources, school staff, counsel clients. Some sleep. Then invite Lorraine downtown, the lovely loyal secretary, to hear jammin jazz crew. By taxi tonight, sans subway. I’ve never been to this joint before but admire the women in their dresses and makeup. In New York, they smell wild. Elsewhere women are ranchers and gardeners. We find a small table in the crowd, order drinks. The band is four young black men. Lorraine is black too, by the by. We get up to dance and I leave my cowboy boots under the table. I’ve always enjoyed the way Lorraine puts her arms around me. I’m the oldest cat in the club which is frightening since just fifteen years ago I was the youngest. I wink at the trumpet player with my fairly abandoned mien who comes over to our table between sets. He likes Lorraine. They jukebox it. She falls in love.

*In his breakthrough work of channeled literature, I Am the Word, author and medium Paul Selig recorded an extraordinary program for personal and planetary evolution as humankind awakens to its own divine nature. I Am the Word is an energetic transmission that works directly on its readers to bring them into alignment with the frequency of the Word, which Paul's guides call the energy of "God in Action." Paul was born in New York City and received his Master's Degree from Yale. He had a spiritual experience in 1987 that left him clairvoyant. As a way to gain a context for what he was beginning to experience, he studied a form of energy healing, working at Marianne Williamson's Manhattan Center for Living and in private practice. In the process, he began to "hear" for his clients, and much of Paul's work now is as a clairaudient, clairvoyant, channel, and empath. Paul has led channeled energy groups for many years. In 2009 he was invited to channel at the Esalen Institute's Superpowers symposium, where he was filmed for the upcoming documentary film Authors of the Impossible. He is the subject of the feature-length documentary film Paul & the Word which will be released late summer, 2011. His workshops in 2011 include Edgar Cayce's A.R.E. in New York City, the Jungian Center in Vermont and the Esalen Institute in Big Sur, Calfornia. Also a noted playwright and educator, Paul serves on the faculty of NYU and directs the MFA in Creative Writing Program at Goddard College. He lives in New York City, where he maintains a private practice as an intuitive and conducts weekly, channeled energy groups.* Personal and planetary evolution- Live channeling with Paul Selig http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CAgh2pXDDls&feature;=youtu.be Waking Universe With Guest Paul Selig http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z7BI0Lgb9Kk&feature;=youtu.be

SONNET TRIBUTE SUNDRY - EIGHTY-FIVE - TOM DALEY
What tick people off? When you dealing with the public. It might be the attitudes you find. Cutomer service, is at the top of many people minds. It like leaving respect for others behind. Manners seem to be eliminated. Whether its in the employment world. The way you treat others means they will return. Because, if it negative in anyway. Your reputation will be burned. Oh, yes. Treat your clients like your boss. You know. You're not trying to lose your job. Now, if you're hard headed. Then customer service is a losing cause. Saying, a pleasant greeting don't hurt you at all. But you find many that can't speak it one bit. These are the folks creating havoc. Remember, customers don't forget. They remember you more than you realize.

You can say what you say. But all they perceive is a modern fairytale. Yes, all they want are the actions of our fairytale. You can say what you say. Yes, you can say what you say. All they want are the actions of our fairytale. Let us implement our so-called modern fairytale. Indeed, you can say what you say. Software developer, your clients want what they want. I can imagine that program, together celebrating in harmony. Computer programmer, your clients what want they want. I can imagine that app, together celebrating in harmony. Everybody singing, it wasn't a modern fairytale. Thank you, Lord, (yes) it wasn't a modern fairytale. Written By: The Senior Date: 12/04/2020

A Long time ago, I was far from home, Far from good food, company and familiar sights. I was washing my bike, Hoping for my neighbor's sweet daughter to come out on her Balcony Light up my day with her sweet smile My neighbor My landlady, Had a family of six Beautiful daughters, Who had no father This churned my heart I went soft for this family But had no Intention to ruin Disrupt their peace Nor interfere In their daily lives I kept my feelings bottled in steel but smiled Good naturedly at them all and stood guard against any male that threatened their gentle citadel They treated me with snacks and their gentle smiles like I was the Orphan and I was well fed with my sacred relationship But their smiles created pangs in my young heart which good breeding stifled with iron hand Until one day I espied my contractor make eyes at the oldest This enraged me Lit a fire (I thrashed the man Ah, the strength of youth Knows no bounds) into an inch of his life till he begged for mercy. This fell on the ears of my superiors who in their enthusiasm to please their clients had me transferred 2000 kms from home I waved goodbye with tears in my eyes my six angels and their guardian who had grown to like me as well, That day I swore that no girl child would come to harm under my watch without her will and some times even with her will when her delicate youth made her stray into harms path I would slay the dragon of temptation at the cost of my reputation among friends of being a Casanova I wear my disguise well To Please God and Man.

Back in my teenage college years I was told about “Autistic kids” Who lived in worlds of their own, Seeing things through weird and wonderful specs In social isolation, Frightening in its completeness. At sixty six I since have learned about many Of their “traits”: Their obsessions, inflexible routines and Panic At all change. Their inability to read Emotions or social cues Or innuendos Or irony. I have worked with those with Aspergers, Colleagues, friends and clients – Indeed with people all over The Autistic Spectrum. And the main thing I have learned In all these years Is that in my own way… I am one of them. Paul Butters © PB 1\10\2018.
