"chalice" poems
I'm transparent like a window but I'm prone to keeping curtains closed to cover up my youthful, aching, naked soul. I used to be promiscuous; my essence on my sleeve. a charming laugh; a crystal glass from which many a fool drew drink. A chalice of life; warm like cinnamon wine, soft like angel's delight. Beheld by every eye. But it never felt right; I was smoke off a fire, yet still smouldering coal. Just a young, beautiful byproduct of desire. There's no smoke without fire. Although, I tried to fan it cool; the flames ran only wilder. But as the old wind blows, it seems a withered tree still grows new leaves. A dandelion spreads its seeds but they lie far away from me. Now, I move transcluently- ultraviolet invisible ink- I speak in soothing whispers; they travel further than you'd think.

iridescence
For Max O cruel, drunken soul, darling tigress, Come to my heart, you lethargic beast! I long for my trembling hands to caress Your thick and glossy fleece. In your petticoats filled with your scent To bury my poor, aching head, Inhaling your flowery fragrance; The sweetness of love now dead. I wish to sleep, to dream perchance As sweetly as death’s embrace, Without remorse, my tongue will dance On your coppery body and face. To bury my sobbing for hours Nothing equals your bed’s abyss, On your lips lies oblivion’s power And Lethe flows in your kiss. Like one resigned to meet his end, I’ll face my fate delighted; Docile martyr, innocent condemned, Whose fervour with pain is ignited. I shall **** to drown my malice,   With nepenthe and hemlock blessed; Placing my lips upon the chalice Of your pointed, heartless breast.

Translation: Lethe (Baudelaire)
My heart I bequeath you O’ stillness of my universe I bequeath you my sanity Spreading this cloak of being in your dust I bow to your twinkling stars To the waxing sun and scented grass I bow to your springing rivers To the parched grain and blossoming flowers I bow to the warmth of my lover And want of my beloved I bow to your saccharine figs And honeyed nectar in chalice filled I bequeath my mortality to your transiency Blinded by this light in game of ruse Into your cohesiveness, I fuse In blinkers to win the race Espying a king in glass Presage of being a slave Yet when darkness falls I furl my cloak and solemnly rise For I bow not then To your barren fields and waning suns I bow not to your garish colors, To the cloying drupe and wilted blossoms Bracing my feeble transience With my tenet and trail of faith I bow to the King of kings; Whilst I beseech for emanating hope, In my tigers clasp, my God’s rope I beseech, Till the noise becomes music again And as I gaze in the glass now, All I espy is a beseeching slave

Darkness wombs the light
We were teammates We suited up We showed up We weren't stars But we rolled in the dirt With the best of them Our blood ran red Like the rest of them Our sweat tasted salty As the most athletic of them Wounds and bruises Ached like the most Stalwart of them We were Bulldogs! We anted up our Gifts and talents to Forge a winning season A flair for humor Wry observation, Encouragement, fortitude And intelligence were as Valuable as speed, Agility and strength We all pined for the Affection of cheerleaders, Bandmembers and the Adoration of fans We equally joined In the chorus of locker room banter And honored the Confidence of camaraderie Such intimacy bares We endured thankless Adversity, while wending through anonymous toil As brothers We grudgingly drank From the vile cup of defeat And passed the chalice Of victory among us To share the savory Taste of triumph As champions The Duke of Wellington Said “the battle of Waterloo Was won on the fields of Eton” I trust my teammates and Not forgotten friends Tasted sweet victories of Happiness and success As they coursed through Their prodigious fields of life And at games end I hope their heart swelled With pride to know they were A beloved and Valiant Bulldog David Irving Korsh #75 BCSL Champion 1973 Rutherford Bulldogs Well done Valiant Bulldog God bless and Godspeed Music Selection: Bruce Springsteen Thunder Road 5/5/18 Puyallup jbm

Valiant Bulldog
Introduction There they stood; keeping silent company. Yet of His face, wept searing electricity. To the lovers of life Here they stand, keeping silent company. No utterance dealt; yet clear in both their minds A single, brilliant truth: He longs for her with a savage delight. And it cries from every fibre, exalting! It is in the bearing of his eye; Rifling through her tender flesh In search of what he knows, from voices ages old, is there: That her heart will beat for no other as it beats for him right now; That in this moment, their Souls are bared To each other’s glares- naked, and blemished, and cowering- Yet his eyes remain fixed and sure: And for this, she loves him. For they have seen each other for the First of Times, Truly! And as with many the Ancient Laws unfurled, They stand aware, in lack of ever being taught, Aware with every atom, every straining tendon tight That their time's so very short. And so they drink… wordless To each other, to their youth, and to their bodies Shining like never before in the noonday air Garbed in cloth that snaps and furls around their waists. They imbibe with electric eyes, Eyes that are new born to this world of light And come out screaming, living, and sensitive For lack of ever being touched. They revel in their new-found joy; Pouring from Her figure, Of Her sleek, supple waist and the arch of her back, Bristling with delight, Of His strong hands and easy smile, That spoke of laughter scattered Across countless campfires of summers past. Their light does burn intense as any fire, And when their brimming anticipation Overspills its crimson chalice The silence shall SHATTER. To find peace again in each other's arms. Fumbling in sweet darkness- Of heavy lids, of earthy flesh, With lips embraced... In ravenous finality.

Come on my Love! Let us move to the East Where the sun resurrects after his interim death Where darkness first gives way to light And life renews itself every morn Look to the East beyond those crooked hills Where poplars grow tall in line And wild weeds hem the edges of pathways Where bunnies and squirrels hop and jump And merrily run round the trees Where the wind moves whistling through bamboo reeds Where the laughing cataract leaps down from the rocks And flow along in silvery rills Where the languorous breeze plays upon the leaves Away from the tumult, far from the crazy crowd With the pandemonium of the world Hushed to serene silence Let us move to that sequestered glade Of perennial greenery, through the sunlit grove Where we shall walk hands locked Till the bright day gives way to dusky night Inhaling night air in scented perfume Under the stillness of a star lit sky Through moon blanched woods, mysterious Listening to the sweet whispering of our soul And ‘drinking life to the lees’ from the chalice of love Oh! Come on, Let us not tarry…. Let’s go!

The Ephemeral Compassionate Leave of Transmigration.
Hear ye, hear ye hearken from the medieval times of old where knights in the round once roamed jousting with deeds fought in truth and honor to protect the weak, the helpless, the oppressed with an ideology lurking since the dawn of time that all are born free, unshackled from contrived ordeals only to soar high with the eagles to become one with the heavens and bask in the glory of serving the frailty and holiness of mankind Hear ye, hear ye it’s Merlin conjuring a magical spell for the spirit to behold, to marvel, new stages of self-enlightenment where the essence of the King invades sleeping visions possibly foretelling ominous events awaiting new missions or predestined journeys one must endure to become so bold in knowledge and wisdom offered, living in this world’s mold not necessarily realized, instead shrouded with unimpeded urges akin to the signs found in youth, immaturity, the close-minded Hear ye, hear ye the quest to sip from the Carpenter’s silver chalice and taste charitable love for family, friends, and foes where reckless pride and hatred are speared with the arrow forged in devotion of a noble belief, tempered with selfless feats where the sun rises and sets on the wicked actions of human nature slaughtering the divine lights prematurely, locked within many souls yet crusades against evil continues, no retreat, no regrets, no surrender price to uphold the spirit of Camelot, payment in full, services rendered.

In Search of Camelot
the first time i saw a **** i didn't know she was my sweetheart, and i didn't understand her not like feet or arms which i understood immediately but **** grew on me like ivy over bricks in time **** ate my mind and i was haunted by her perfume then i suffered a severe case of **** on the brain of which there is no cure but death unless of course there are ***** in the afterlife the **** such a tender slit that oozes love like gelatin a veiled curving vulnerability it's secret poorly hidden for easy discovery but still, i didn't understand women the holders of this sacred chalice until the great epiphany and i realized that the woman's heart is a **** too a silky slit the marrow of her soul waiting to be opened and brimming

Dancing on the lifeline, Flying through the dirt, Mixing into puddles, Resembling the sky... Everything is nothing. Nothing is everything. The truth is but a lie Not looked in the eye. The spoiled goods we buy! Dancing on the lifeline, Spinning dervish, spin. Aquire all the knowledge you seek, Find it is within. Poets are the prophets To the souls of those that read. The magick that is in the verses Always plants a seed To enlightenment, the need. We are all Dancing on the lineline, Connected by the threads, That comprise the ribbons Of the thoughts within our heads. Everything for which we thirst Is already in our chalice. We only need to drink of it, But need to keep the balance... Beware the one called valiant. Never fear that victor, Who has never seen a challange, Who has been given everything On a silver platter. Listen to the hope inside. Follow it, as you lead. As you cast your spells And spin your webs, take heed. Dancing on your lifeline, Holding onto what is true. Only when you care for others, Will you know they care for you.

Dancing on the Lifeline
Laced with ribbons of moonlight Bangladesh a touched dream at first light. Land of my father, my mother sweeter than nectar. Purer than the driven snow brighter than raw gold. Gazing stars’ bumped up bottom down the untouched moon. Men and the six seasons living in one loving fold our one fertile sweet home! O Allah rank our martyrs our heroes up high in paradise in bloom brought Bangladesh freedom abloom! Punters cumulus clouds fly eyes on the sky blue   on a spur hanging low tune into wild coo. Picture independent Bangladesh step in on the morning rug rolls out outside the sun walk through, the moon is inside! Bask in, take your time when the twilight adds a shadow the beauty spot on your broad daylight escape to more serendipitous discovery. Eye on the stars or tuberoses on the ground our free land is inspiring, beautiful even in the dark. Laughs free from a tulip glass   across the land, air and the water upon the reed flute stirred river flowing downstream to the hilt from a deep-delved foundation out of reach her raised high flag flies over the pivotal banyan trees. Every flap of our ‘the sun in the green’ shaped flag, the light of heaven on the evergreen earth! Ah, sways in the chalice of every flower on the land cheers beyond the warm South whispers to our hearts and makes us feel proud.

When I say "bet" life begins. I wager sweat and limbs. The thrill is angelic hymns. Limitless~ Until a hit is missed. Why do I fear love is duplicitous? Courage Will Form energy from unfolding mystery. Cradling a chalice of compassion with gentle filigree my hands hold perfectly. Feeling trust, I sip then pour peacefully. Worth is free.

The wee hours late night in a blink of an eye blows her Niqab (veil) away. Oh, that folds springs in style in the chalice of rose flower never gone with the rainbow splash of the first light! Stunned broad daylight rather looses for words punting in sleek brook of twilight scurries back into the night.

every day, speak a little less reduce the number of words you say from half to ten less, and then none at all. Don't forget to be soft. Kiss your mountaintop goodbye for one last sunrise and descend into the night where it's quiet like you should be. one by one, pull back towards yourself the orbs of energy you've left bouncing around you in the atmosphere. be their chalice one last time and watch them burn out. and when you're reduced to dying ashes and deathly whispers a strong voice will suddenly falter and they wonder - didn't we once know a ... ?

how to disappear completely.
The sky descended its sapphire pearls from its embellished chalice. The pearls decorated my lonesome face, I stared upwards into the grey heavens of solemnity. I was searching for answers. I felt nothing as the water rolled off my fingertips, those precious jewels crashed the surface of the decrepit earth. This feeling I so longed for, so begged for, so sought. Empty like a vessel, I stood and soaked the frequency in, seconds that felt like days, time stopped, it stopped for me. Maybe for once in my life I was in control, this was it. No pain, no sorrow, I was free. In that moment I bathed. Bathed in the past, as my future filled my lungs, I was drowning in truth. Baptized from suffering, I was rooted, longing for the gods to purify me. I am a mere spec in the vast void, existing, while life just moves on. I couldn’t fathom moving on, what good could that bring if nothing in life was guaranteed. And just like that, the fear crept back in again, and I found myself, back in hell.

Queen of angels make my day, queen of angels take my pain away, together let the love and life flourish, startle, twinkle and charm the chalice, imagine, create, fulfill the dreams, queen of angels make them believe, let them dream and let them live, queen of angels show the light, pass the dark and the ugly night, faith is upon you dont leave so soon, queen of angels calm as a moon, soft and silky like a racoon.

Arms that rested on her wide hips I miss her 'grape-ulent'  lips How onto me she tightly clung While my harmonic mp3s sung The walk by nature's green Moments we dared to dream She sung alongside Dido Oh gosh, the "Darling" title How occupied she kept us Cut my wings, back down to earth For all that's happened was worth I miss placing my arms on her *** And towing her close to my body I miss her soft grip on my "daddy " The look in her eyes when in control I miss ******* her glorous beach umbrellas How she ardently put off the lights I miss the many long and busy nights Freezing and so I miss her furry furnace I miss the soft moans of pleasure She was an undisputed treasure I long to drink again from her chalice I miss the tear filled hazels of lust Thighs like tectonic plates in Earth's crust I miss being trapped by those stalactites Her harmless but arousing  love bites I miss having her thrilling ride My body would yield and abide Her little laugh when things got real hot My rock hard cable in her USB port I miss the warm cool of her wetness The milking machine greatness I miss how whispers talked Till late after we'd ****** I miss diving alength I miss losing strength

THE MILKING MACHINE
Drawing my hands through the soft, wet flesh of the Earth. I know already It will emerge no chalice. Cowards will bother, they will force what isn't there. They will plead something from nothing. They will praise their hands. The Earth is something I repeat, Dipping hand into water, pressing pedal tenderly. I wipe my brow like a farmer, returning sweat to the land. Why are things never enough? I see the form in the form I'm given.
