I bared my soul
You told me
Slow down

You were right

Red lights flashed
Caution signs in my eyes
I know I need you too much
Still Crazy Apr 26
always throw caution to the wind

for a life well lived, for I did not, and lived a life well-lied

always throw caution to the wind

our life in this realm is short-lived, no bigger than
the size and brevity of our divine sparks existence

always throw caution to the wind

long winters and short summers recalled on paper,
have you not realized that mere gods worship immortal men,
our gloried markers, our stories, our ephemeral skin - forever

always throw caution to the wind

jump in after it, the winds course is a buffeting, head knock heading,
breeze, gust, gale and storm, a recovery chance of chances, a tourney
where the thrill of the unpredictable toss is not a simple head or tails,
but a slot machine of innumerable outcomes randomly optimized

always throw caution to the wind

the life irregular is the normative, the outcomes always positive,
this is the only thought that should ever provoke -
be wild but not crazy, think clearly and dare define safety
on your own terms, your own odds calculating, sew your own net,,
pick your wind and as a parent, always dress appropriately

for I am still crazy after all these years

Hannah Christina May 2018
A shuddered sigh, then some hope inhaled.
A wince of distrust, yet a heart unveiled.
A cautious smile leaves a little too late.
And a hopeful look rises to the bait.
A tensed up brow begins to relax,
For peace and joy have been too long taxed.
Sorrow still lurks in the back of the mind,
But reluctantly it is left behind.
A cautious faith is restored anew
And I open myself
back up
to you.

Of my flesh, the trip , the pressure.

The rug, the rash, the knee,  the kiss.

The sigh and solemn bliss.

And want for all of this, when I am only clay.

At the earliest moments
Of time.

The yester, yesterday.

So now I'll recollect,
forwarned narrow sight.
And see the blood, the fear,
the risk.
And count my every slight

For many years I threaded needles,
Dictating a yarn.

Spun of lies with silent cries,
And desicated eyes.

That found me full of nothing,
And emptiness the proof.

A bully to
you and me
The hope filled forfeit truth.

For this is fight, and nothing more with waning of our youth.

The endless pool of doing, with weary broken back.

For selfishly we hobble,
When steel we find us lack.

So on to the future.

With souls, we nought to the rack.

It best we set our sights to then,
And never stray the track.

Smell of lilacs bloom
to no end—a nebulous glow of
purple, perfect, and unperturbed—your
poem of lilies with caution tape
snug in my backpack—
your pollen hundreds of miles
away—a firebrick orange
sung again and again. A cotton
blow unlike anything colorful
—a white puff of dandruff before
the rain—a bouquet for
your spring stitched
stem by stem.

the moon glows warmly
a deer stands alert, watching
waiting for someone

i don't expect you to mend my soul overnight
but i do ask that you
treat my heart with careful consideration
because i don't think i can handle
another tear.

all i ask is that
you proceed with caution
and mend my heart.
one day at a time.

Never be fooled
by a word of sentiment
Its coating can never
reflect its intent

For whether or not
you know of its content
It's trickery stands
beneath its compliment
Although the only flattery I recieve are those from myself. Still a lie.

How do you walk
through a mind
filled with items
without fear of
having to pay
for the damage
if anything shatters?
Lyn-Purcell Jul 2018
The world is dumbed down, dark
with roads made of glass for
which we caused and keep
One little mistake, one
little crack, people
will throw stones
and laugh and
point when
Nowadays we have to be perfect and correct about everything or else you get backlashed.
I just find it ridiculous because WE AREN'T PERFECT!
Sheesh... You wanna throw stones at others but you hate it when people do it to you.

With gripping science evermore
We live at new levels...
To abandon some caution
To brush against
Peace on Earth
And the end of fear
The safety net
Is fitted here
Do what you want
Don't dare to conflict
With Medics

They can
They can knockout
Using all those
Vile medical terms

For that
For that one needs to
Get through entrance
Join Medical School
Hold on for years
Even more
Just to understand
What they said
Genre: Observational
Theme: Caution
I'm living in my mind,
walking a road I have paved.
Listening to the pounding,
of my heart that can't be saved;
an empty hole I had caved,
long before my journey started,
long before my hope strained.
Waiting for a fleeting step,
wishing for a second thought,
but still emptiness lurks,
where the love had fought,
from how the voices talked.
I'm waiting for a different place,
of what my mind is not.
A saddened memoir,
that spoke forgotten loss.
I'm falling deeper down,
where all the pain was washed,
and the guilt caught.
In a hidden valley of emotion,
of punishing thoughts.
Still I'm walking onward;
following the road.
People told me to hold caution,
for it should not be condoned.
I can't call it my own,
because this road that I am taking,
can never be my home--
An older poem fixed.
All feedback is welcome!

They said
Take caution
Ghost haunts
Mostly in the dark

If memory haunts
Even in the light

Help Me

For what,
I need to get more cautious?
Genre: Abstract
Theme:  Into the unknown
A tale of one's own
Should never be told
For plots that bear truth
Knows none whom to hold

Be weary of those
Who know of your life
It may be kept dear
Or thrown behind lies
Trust me, I know.
Cronedrome Sep 2018
Always more than you deserve
You cut your teeth
Against all those brick walls
All sin here is absolved
Into the lack of resolve
Through the surface of my skin
Tales of caution in reverse
All confession
Has been rehearsed
Rehearsed againt the wind

Stay cautious

Believe me
Got broken takes, no time
Healing, a way long

Need to be confirm
Align to the earlier form
Stabilize for endurance
Then finally
Makeover stitch
Allowing the time to recover

But this is not the end
Some of us take
Much longer than
The usual time

In those
Who are obsessed
To scratch the scar
Recall the moment
With a same dumb question
Why me?

Little do we knew
Why few don’t
Want to get healed
And what keeps them
Genre: Abstract
Theme: Note on scar | Why some aren't healed at all?

I will listen
I will tend to
I will ensure
that I only dance to
the tune of a very
sound mind

Mental and emotional health is just as important as physical health.
So do take time to take care of it, something I needed to do.
Take a break, let your emotions out and stand up again.
I feel so much better for it, too!
Thank you so so much for 220 followers!
That's crazy! I never thought my page would grow!
Thank you so much, I'm grateful! ^^

There once was a man a bit boring
who found a magic word that open boxes;
he thought it was fun
to opening any box untill
the magic word "please" open the pandora's box.
Here is my first liemrick ever. ©A B Faniki 7/17/2019. Is about caution, even when doing good or fun things. The poem is also writing for kid to learn about saying pleasse.

The battle ensued
Between combatants heart and mind
As loneliness whispered softly
Of tenderness
In cooing song and rhyme

The brain issued a stern warning
Of heartache and the ache of sorrow
The turmoil of the soul
And the price
The wrath of storms coming

Love ignored words of caution
With little thought of consequence
Forging fearlessly and foolishly ahead
Igniting a small spark
Accompanied smoke trails in the night
Long ago thought dead

Glowing orange blue flickering embers
Soon a smoldering burning fire
Did awaken from memories long sleep
The emotion

The dance of the pack,
wild and carefree.
Amidst their merry howls
a haunting laughter calling out-
"Fenrir awake, tonight we feast!

Beware o' ye child,
lest your bones,
like the white ash
of a forrest charred,
be your only remnant;
and your spirit join
those of the cursed.
Remembered only
as a tale of caution!

please do not serve me **** pie on a silver platter!
oh, your unfamiliar with this type of pie?!! it is the kind
that is hot & fresh with buried lies and deceits colored scented to seem sweet.

Please, I do ask that you not serve this dish to me!
I see through and know there are many many layers
covering the other so I tell you do not serve to me
**** pie on a silver platter!!
Just be straightforward
then we are good and clear as long as you are a truth
teller you will have nothing to bury or hide baked
into quadruple **** layered sphincter pie so keep it straight
and girls won't hate but we will test and figure things,
So go with caution just as long as
we don't sniff a whiff
being served to us by you via silver splat
oh oops, that was your face oh-oh.
SorryNotSorry bout that!
Often the circles have been created by you
it just takes acknowledging their attitude
had been placed there by actions
or lies you choose to color and justify

She's bespoke
A beautifully said name
A stinging thorn
Of a bee on a rose
A warrior of time
With a new definition of a word
Never used before
She is sharp
A new definition I created of beespoke/bespoke spelled either way really means something said quietly or to convey a direct message indirectly

She watched as the predator made his move,
Red flags of caution flashed in her head.
She knew his feelings wouldn’t be true,
Yet she couldn’t stop thinking about him as she lay in bed.

She had seen far too worse in the name of love,
But something about her predator seemed to captivate her.
She promised to be careful, that was her vow,
But every time she saw him she knew they’d end up together.

A glance turned into a chat and a chat turned into a touch.
With every passing day he stopped being a predator.
She told herself she'd be stubborn and not budge,
But she was breaking and his affection was her sedative.

It wasn't long before their hearts bridged the gap,
It wasn’t long before their lips met for a kiss.
It wasn’t long before she fell into the trap,
It wasn’t long before she couldn’t resist.

She was finally being accepted for who she really was,
And could bid her insecurities farewell.
She allowed herself to move on from the scars,
And cherished being the girl who fell.

This is a chick flick in the form of a poetry. So I tried my best to portray an alternate rhyming scheme. Hope you guys enjoy it!
