My heartbeat feels funny in my chest,
And I just want to stop breathing.
No hope for any rest
As i lay here, mind running and eyes wide.
Too bad I'm too sad to move,
Even too sad to cry,
Because both mind and body scream
"Just let me die!"
My mind and body are calling me home, as in to die.

Racing, blind nights gone weary,
Missing like cold wind, blowin'
Trees, objects of nature caught ruthlessly divine,
Simple cognition or possible chasing lights drowning tears mark moons and mansions alike, in the presence of fire,
The great blind rat lifting it's tail, in disgrace showing motionless mass,
Get the blackness on the Jordan river death urge silently moving like herds of sheep in the hills of Holy

Thousands of nation men, trodden down with sand and mud just to get the right passage of mind and thought
A small Vietnamese girl,
About the size of a...
Nevermind the voices you hear they all come awake and slowly disappear

Droughts of ether alike in tunes I might just do without the rest of doubts hedges lawns and patios
Glazed in passionate flowers
Paradoxical a nebula unhidden,
Slow chasing the candle lit masks

his eyes
they’re calling me
lost in a grey-blue sea
pray they tell no lies

i fall
before him on my knees
begging pretty please
answer my call

loving you
every single day
when you throw your belt away
is all I do

the sound
of the buckle on the floor
makes me wish for more
of this love so profound

I know
you’ll waste no time
in this paradigm
to set our tempo

Umbral passing reaching its prime
A quarter gone groping to shine
Moonlit alley I gaze upon
Crescendo fortissimo, again it ran
Lunarian face against a long one

Sympathizing in lieu of closing
Celestial suffocating in darkness
Sorrow devours this singularity
Both carving its way across the stars
Agonizing every dust found in galaxy

When I was a little girl

I talked

And talked and talked and talked

Talked and talked

Talked, talked, talked.

That was before

I figured out that my mind

Danced when it was quiet

And that nobody cares

How many words you use

When all of them are put on paper.
I actually said something like this in a conversation and inspiration struck.

Two souls alone so far between only nights are calling
Shinning stars pointing the way an affection so enthralling
Shimmers over tranquil pools the crescent moonlights falling
Meetings of two lovers hearts before the mornings dawning

The anguish of a waiting heart the flutter of a wing
Beauties small enchanted voice hearing the Fairy sing
Dreams of love's compulsion, her song the wolf will bring
Within two hearts both shall meet on silvers entwined ring

A curse that's placed is broken a drink of pure tranquillity
The Spirit of the Wolf is called upon a test of his nobility
Flight of the fairy's soft élan her grace and her gentility
Brake the curse before the dawn the tranquil pools ability

Moonlight shines through the night sky a twinkle in a star
Sparkles touch the waters edge those loves that leave a scar
Both must drink before the light love's lost forever far
Glimmers of hope a small sip Wolf's howl at what they are

Transformations will occur love will always intervene
Magical flickers catch the light and wherever it is seen
Once a fairy fluttering now she's a proud Wolf queen
Wolf's are always calling where tranquil pools have been

The souls of two true lovers, will never be apart
Differences are overcome, from Loves intervening heart
Tranquil pools compulsive dreams, those feelings from the start
When two hearts are intertwined, that's true loves unique art

come if you're thirsty, come if you're stained
come if you're weary, come if you're pained
come to the water, the bread and the blood
come to Christ's soul-saving covenant flood
there's no one too *****, no one too poor
no one too broken whose faith He'll ignore
come if you hear Jesus calling your name
come to be free of all guilt and all shame
come if you're willing to cast out old strife
come lay your burden and take up new life

"'Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.'"
~ Matthew 11:28-30

"Jesus answered, 'Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.'"
~ John 4:13-14

"Then Jesus declared, 'I am the bread of life. He who comes to Me will never go hungry, and he who believes in Me will never be thirsty.'"
~ John 6:35

"On the last and greatest day of the Feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, 'If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.'"
~ John 7:37-38

"'I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in Me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing.'"
~ John 15:5

Yom Kippur this year was celebrated on Oct. 12th 2016.
Leonard Cohen passed away on November 7, 2016.

faint knocking at the door to the Tower of Song

the ministering angels, hearing a rhythmic, lyrical rapping,
sigh, thinking the atonement day,
the holiday/holy days, are supposedly over,
the human balancing act, the rush to judgement period,
all tallies totaled, the busy sale season for souls,
at last completed, each fate inscribed & sealed,
in the book of life^

but, always one,
the itinerant straggler, the last reluctant sinner, a judgment resister,
flaunting an expired coupon, trumpeting demands for a recount,
waving it, claiming it, the bearer, entitled to a mercy discount and
an extra 30 days

"who shall we say is calling?"

the Angels are stunned to hear,
a familiar raspy, growling, almost indescribable,
yet, stammeringly, beautiful voice enchanting,
equally asking and answering,  how both,
with a strident humility, "a man in search of answers"

this voice, instantaneous recognizable,
the asking superfluous,
all beating wings now, all in vast excitement,
this psalmist, long awaited, one of His best,
a chosen one, a courtly singer in the Temple of his people,
blessed with the curse of seeing and believing,
the comprehension of beauty of the human superior interior,
never being quiet or quite satisfied,
in capturing, its multifarious variations,
in every language spoken

this is the man who took ten years
to compose just
one song,
one poem,
one word,
whose faith was strong,
but still needed proofs,
whose every breath of oxygen inhalation,
brought more questions,
every exhalation, only releasing partial answers,
and yet, still, yes, yes! finding hidden verses inside

a simple, everlasting

the hubbub subsides, the man sings~speaks:
how came I here,
was I one, who by fire?
that fire afeared,  that my finality was spirit consumer?

one voice, answers,
in one voice, the swaying back-up singers answer,
not by fire, not by water, not by stoning or
even drowning
in tea that came from all the way from China

when sing we Angels, the Judgement Day poem,
we alone, on high and above,
we, keepers of the books and records of everyone,
are permitted this to query:

Who by Sufficiency?

you, the sidekick of the creator,
special commissioned by him, anointed to live a life of research,
record in word and song the mysteries of musical gene strings,
that intertwine the skin cells of man and woman,
man and his fellow us-human,
your soul commandeered, ordered, delve deeper,
into the consolable chasm tween divine and mortals,
all those who are poorly constructed
in his image

he, who has earned his place, his best rest,
his works adjudged sufficient,
he, who best answered
this judging,
this calling out,
calling in

Who by Sufficiency?

now forward on, write only of answers,
wade in the troubled waters no more,
no more passports, or borders to cross,
no more measuring the days,
the last road trip finale
finished & feted,
fate meted

no more changing thy name, changeling priest,^^
sing songs of solution, salvation,
for the questioning hours of confusion,
the urgency of revolution,
no longer need a hallelujah resolution

Who By Fire                             Who By Fire, Who By Water:^
(lyrics by Leonard Cohen)     (A Yom Kippur Hebrew Prayer)

who by fire                             How many shall die and

who by water,                                how many shall born,
Who in the sunshine,                 Who shall live
who in the night time,                   who shall die,
Who by high                                Who at the measure of days,
who by common trial,                    and who before,
Who in your merry
                                                          Who by fire
month of May,                                 and who by water
Who by very                                 Who by sword,
slow decay,                                       and who by wild beasts,
And who shall I                      Who by hunger,
say is calling?                              and who by thirst,

And who in her,                           Who by earthquake
lonely slip,                                         and who by plague
who by barbiturate,                      Who by strangling,
Who in these                                    and who by stoning
realms of love,                               Who shall have rest,

who by,                                             and who shall go wandering,
something blunt,                            Who will be tranquil,
And who by avalanche,                  and who shall be harassed,
who by powder,                            Who shall be at ease,
Who for his greed,                           and who shall be afflicted,
who for his hunger,                      Who shall become rich,
And who shall I,                             and who shall become poor,
say is calling?                                Who will be raised high,
and who will be brought low
And who by brave assent,
who by accident,
Who in solitude,
who in this mirror,
Who by,
his lady's command,
who by his own hand,
Who in mortal chains,
who in power,
And who shall I,
say is calling?

^From the liturgy of Rosh Hasanah, the Jewish New Year and Yom Kippur, the  Day of Atonement, there is this truly stunning prayer ( in the Jewish liturgy. The Book of Life contents the fate of every sinner. From the first day of the new year, until ten days later, on Yom Kippur, depending on whether the sinner repents or not, his fate is sealed.
Yom Kippur this year was celebrated on Oct. 12th 2016.

Leonard Cohen passed away on November 7, 2016.

^^"A Kohens ancestors were priests in the Temple of Jerusalem. A single such priest was known as a Kohen, and the hereditary caste descending from these priests is collectively known as the Kohanim.[2] As multiple languages were acquired through the Jewish diaspora, the surname acquired many variations." Today, with no temple, the limited role of the Kohanim is to bless the Jewish people on the high holy days with a  special prayer with abeloved tune,  instantly evocative (see The Kohanim are still revered, honored, and always called up first to the Sabbath reading of the weekly portion of the Old Testament

Oh, how hard it is
to right your wrongs.

Needing perfect placement
like words in songs.

Or words in psalms.
Would you listen?

Instead of drowning
in lost visions.

As long as you know you’ve been gifted..

time to better..not just fix it.

Then your the world’s prescription.

Through the rain, the wind and blistering sand
workers toil without a plan.

Failing to see, much less care, that another's garden
is in disrepair.

Even so, there is a call to make a choice, to tear
down walls.

While preparing the ground, they pull the weeds,
casting bread upon life's water to meet another's

And then with a little rain, and a little sun, one can
take joy in the harvest when it is done..

Attention was my d.o.c.,
didn’t matter who.
I have a skill for picking out
the most ****** up boy in the room.
God, you’re the only one
who knows why I do
what I do.
The darkness is calling.
There’s a hunger inside of me.
Temptation is everywhere,
just a click away.
What’s the worst that I could do?
I’m about to put myself
in a bad situation
just to fill the pit in my soul.
Achievements line the wall.
I never ****** up enough
for you to realize
how broken I really am.
No one could hear me
and when they did,
didn't want to believe it.

I didn't choose to answer that phone.
They said my name on the other end.
How was I to react from within.
So then I denied the allegations.
Hung up the phone for this was the end.
2 minutes later they called again.
Left a message my ears where unwilling to hear.
They told me news I was shocked to receive.
He had done it again and gotten seized.
I am still quivering.
Trembling from the news.
They asked me to come in but I refused.
Unwilling to accept the reality that she too had been abused.

The sound of your voice
Changes the tone of my day
It makes me want to
Lay my head on your chest
And listen to your heart all night

Dont take no advantage
don’t leave, no i planned it
I keep up, im standing
but you can’t just see me girl
and i just might please you girl

so why can’t i be your.. world

its you who i stand with
and me who you stand on
i stay still I’m grounded
but you keep on running off

and i keep my ringtone on
and you never seem to call
but i keep on chasing on
the dreams of us living long

so keep me in mind
cupid be by my side
Arrows fly by at times
yet they miss and i cry
but id rather shoot high
than never take the chance at, you

Its you who i stand with
and me who you stand on
i stay still im grounded
but you keep on running off

and these arrows are all I’ve got

but i keep my ringtone on
but you never seem to call
but i keep chasing on
the dreams of us living long

so please just give me a call
i promise it won’t be long
and maybe we can get along,
I need this its all i want
A chance to fall in love,
so baby give me our all..

so please don’t take no advantage,
don’t leave no i planned it
i keep up im standing
but you can’t just see me girl
and i just might please you girl

so why can’t i be your world?

its you who i stand with
and me who you stand on
i stay still im grounded
but you keep on running off

and i keep my ringtone on
but you never seem to call
i keep chasing on
the dreams of us living on

There's a certain attractiveness in agony
To be drawn to something destructive
Like perpetual bliss within a simple discomfort

Whether your soul is old, or it's just learned wisdom
The distraction serves as a habitual nuance
Slowly pulling the strings of routine until each knot is loosened,
Each wall built up is cut into a thousand pieces

Please refrain from bestowing temptations upon me
For I am not strong
I lack critical mindful muscles, and in place are romantic fantasies
I haven't trained my posture to withstand it all,
So do me a favor, leave me untied, all broken up
If not, I shall succumb to a heartthrob personality
My body is fully unable to afford it

With words, a gentle mind is twisted
With a glance, the guiltless eye wanders
I have come to learn that, despite all attempts to repel emotional buckles, the severity of a sweet soul is far too powerful to overcome.
It seems as if I have no choice at all

I am feeling corrupted
Though you promise me ease
Teach me to have faith in your dismemberment
Simultaneous devotion to a psyche so unfamiliar to me
I'm wrapped up in chains, though you swear to me freedom

To where can I possibly turn?

The jungle makes its calls, welling up from hollows beyond.
Monkeys and wild things make their way through the spaces in between,
rapping from unseen places on long barriers
and marking their territory.

Sounds of birdsong fill the air calling out to all too few.
Others prowl the paths looking for prey in caves and behind walls.
Packs of banshees laugh as the chorus grows until the final call.
The last bell rings all are free run for home.
