There’s a lot to be said for this place. A near-perfect pitch for diversity, Diversity: a neurolinguistic term; A quaint way to say: miscegenation. No, just kidding; I meant the melting *** A fine blend of Anglo, Hispanic & Indian blood— That’s Pueblo & Plains Indian blood-- Not that **** masala, chapati & dal Indian blood. My apologies to "Who's the White Guy?" Bobby Jindal. New Mexico: “The Land of Enchantment.” Where 310 sunny days per annum, Are like money in the bank, earning Double-plus compound interest for those Suffering with seasonal affective disorders. A land of sunshine without the orange juice, But substitute chili, red or green? An equitable offset to be sure. 310 days of sunshine: Even the white people are brown here. Which does a lot for my self-esteem. Back east—New York, Chicago & Philadelphia e.g.— People that look like me, i.e., People with dark brown hair, eyes and skin, Get stopped/ass-cheek spread/& frisked, routinely. Stop & Frisk: NYPD’s spectator sport for decades. Stop & Frisk: Mayor Bloomberg-defended Crime-stopping Godsend, Getting guns off the streets. Getting homicides down. Everything’s cool until some slick race baiter, Starts yelling: RACIAL PROFILING. Forget for a moment that people that look like me, People like me with dark hair, eyes & skin, Commit 78% of the crime in most cities. “It’s not racially driven profiling,” Said Newark’s police director recently Referring to stops carried out by his officers. “IT’S CRIME-DRIVEN PROFILING!” But, again, political-correctness trumps common sense: August 2013: Judge Rules NYPD Stop-and-Frisk Unconstitutional. Well I’ll be a monkey’s *** ****** I moved to New Mexico to blend in. My complexion a shoe-in for The Witness Protection Program or Any other public or private, Domestic or international rendition site. But I digress. New Mexico: no passport necessary, Babaloo! New Mexico: be you white or black, Hispanic or Indian, Or even Roswell extraterrestrial, The cops here will beat the **** out of you. Or shoot you dead, Kemosabe.

NYC ranks first in global competitiveness: report
Do you really need that second slice? Don't you dare to super size! Guzzling down large sugary drinks- Do you rally think that's wise? Your hamburger is much too large I'd cur it down to size until its like those square ones that White Castle serves sans fries. I taught the City not to smoke in that I was thought wise. Unhand that Nathans hot dog! It will go straight to your thighs. I guess I'm just a Puritan, my happiness undone by the thought that somewhere, someone might still be having fun.

my stomach has never hurt so hard from laughing because i’ve met some of the best people to share it with. it’s two in the morning and we decide perhaps it is time to start the work that we should’ve done ahead of time. and in the morning, we promise we’ll finish but instead we sit and laugh, again. this time, inappropriately. the professor’s watching, and we aren’t getting our work done. the mexican restaurant ironically run by asians is closed. again. i’m craving enchiladas. so i make do with second tier ones from gramercy. they’re not bad. but i prefer the ones from the mexican restaurant run by asians. i sit bundled up, half free-writing, half asleep, and i take the person sitting in front of me and use them to my advantage. perhaps if i move my head just a little to the left, the professor won’t see me nodding off to sleep. (i just wanted a little nap). but i resist and we present half-heartedly. i don’t think we really cared about the new chancellor about bloomberg and about joe torre. the library brings a welcome change, and i see a familiar face. and we sit together and we laugh and before we know it, it’s time for class. again. this time, i make haste to allow my eyelids to flutter until they are cemented shut as Descartes is explained to us by our passionate but flighty professor. i wake up in time to be assigned into a group. (what are we arguing again?) something about the senses and how to use them. and whether we are certain. i dislike debates like this. i feel uncertain already. and philosophy makes me even more uncertain. uncertainer. uncertainest. the train ride home is a haze. and i am glad to be home. even though the living room is missing its lively chatter half from my parents and half from the television. but they’ll be home soon, and all will be right.

So they wanna occupy Wall Street, eh? I do believe that it is already well occupied, Occupied in making money, Not in makin' stuff, That would muss those custom suits, And chip those polished nails, You can't see Wall Street's residents, They're busy behind smoked glass, Trading the most expensive vaporware On earth, Buy it for a thousand, Sell if for a hundred, Heads they win, Tails you lose, Try retiring on that, It's working out for them, They're important people, Don't hurt their morale, Mayor Bloomberg is worried They might get sad, (Sigh). Don't turn around, But while  you're occupying, Your jobs are occupied, With migrating to... Another hemisphere, Enjoy your camp-out folks, And your three weeks Of fame. Copyright 2011 by Gary L. Bloomberg village
"It's happening on a day when the DOW industrial average was already down 175 points." - Adam Johnson, Bloomberg Television, covering the Boston Marathon bombing One by one she piled them, bodies and fragments, broken and tattered, onto the golden scale. their hands and feet, swollen with innocence, fell lifeless as the eyes of their adjudicator. where is your soul, Lady Liberty? where is your god, oh, Freedom? cold gears creaked as the balance swayed; songs of the hand that guides the machine. what is the stock price of flesh these days? and does our ignorance provoke or appease you? Boston, it seems, is filled with heavy streets. Inciting the terror of empty pockets. When our death tolls read like itemized deductions, something has gone terribly wrong.

Michael Bloomberg was awakened in an unfamiliar bed. Restraining bands were on his limbs and also on his head. “our sales are down across the board, our latest soda bombed.” “While our truckers want to rub you out, We insist you won’t be harmed.” “We are trying to convert you, There's no need to be alarmed.” For this most unwilling witness Coke's jingle was replayed, I cannot say how often, it went on for many days. He was forced to watch commercials, all in praise of soda pop. Big gulps were his nourishment, though he longed to make it stop. Then, when his brain was Cola washed And we finally set him free, Michael Bloomberg bought the world a Coke and sang in harmony.

Bloomberg's Nightmare
We slept last night on satin sheets. Reluctantly we rise. In air-conditioned luxury we wipe the sleep from bloodshot eyes. The Earth grows sterile with each passing year. Fewer birds sing in the trees. It is autumn now and it seems strange that outside its ninety -eight degrees Upon exiting from the shower we don our matching silken robes. The Bloomberg totes our rising wealth and tells of Donald's latest woes. The Earth grows sterile with each passing year. Fewer birds sing in the trees. It is autumn now and it seems strange that outside its ninety -eight degrees Eggs over easy and crusty french bread, consumed with dark roast coffee seems a perfect way to start our day. We live better than Kings and Queens. The Earth grows sterile with each passing year. Fewer birds sing in the trees. It is autumn now and it seems strange that outside its ninety -eight degrees We dress in fine designer clothes. You should see the shoes she wears. They cost two thousand dollars each and she owns two dozen pairs. The Earth grows sterile with each passing year. Fewer birds sing in the trees. It is autumn now and it seems strange that outside its ninety -eight degrees Below our penthouse in the sky, anger simmers on City streets. An angel with a flaming sword approaches even as we speak. The Earth grows sterile with each passing year. Fewer birds sing in the trees. It is autumn now and it seems strange that outside its ninety -eight degrees
