Beautiful Pollution
These days have ebbed as Love's swell was checked: the waters in some places - all but dammed! But now at last I sense the rising tide and thank Temese for the current's turn; now following that great writhing snake to where its pulsing head will rake; over the mucky soiled watery beds of Woolwich Greenwich Limehouse - and under - Tower Bridge      To that great gloating sight                 A crown of a billion lights      Blazing day and night:                 And somewhere within      In the slick oily warmth                 Our flood tides mesh,      As over each other we wash. Hard thrusts wicked deep cuts given and received are recorded in that great mirror smoked! where with a tug and a shove on the banks in the streets through the loopy twists everything prospers in the glow as the decades decaying flow; each ***** bud red with new blood one after t'other flowers before their purple petals scatter. Let's on the luck o' the dice (you 'n' me!) ride out on the flotsam and jetsom that has carried us this far and as pleases merge.

River Thames
Once more I close my eyes. A violin plays like a blazing fire. I feel calm yet tears cover my eyes. The fire burns through my lungs. I hear the silence of many thoughts. The concerto ends, I applaud. Once more I open my eyes.

A Cigarette
I see you. With your heart of stone I see you With your gilded mask I see you With your diamond tears I see you With your blazing tongue I see you With your glass smiles I see you With your empty eyes I see you With your fragile hands I see you With your broken lies I see you With your stooped shoulders I see you. Everything you are, Everything you are not. I see you And I care.

I see you.
I take my lover's eyes with me Wherever I go I look at them a thousand times a day Two dark jewels Blazing beneath a desert sky. I take my lover's eyes with me Wherever I go I look at them a thousand times a day And held within Is a memory of our last embrace. I take my lover's eyes with me Wherever I go I look at them a thousand times a day And they speak to me In a tongue only two people know. I take my lover's eyes with me Wherever I go I look at them a thousand times a day Each time I smile, I’m sure I see her And she sees me. And for a thousand times a day I kiss those eyes Return them to their home, A locket Next to my heart.

My Lover's Eyes
Silicate, emotionless sedimentary, Darling, it is cold, doesn't care wheter it breaks or if it is swept away in a stream, cut into small pieces by the sharp rush of flowing water, While it may hold no emotions, it can be the bringer of hope, bliss, happiness, sadness but also spite and envy, or a simple fulfilment, Look at the wedding-rings, their stones on top to embellish beauty such as the insurance to be with the other through thick and thin, Some diamonds are rough, but they are stronger than stones, if that is enough, harder and almost unbreakable, sorted in line moliculary, When the kiss of death puts us to rest, a tombstone is the sad, cruel remembrence of a former life, sprouting blossoming and blooming, before returning to the soil it once had found its origin, its beginning, I will try to be your wishing one, your shooting star, racing through the glory of the starlit nightsky to catch a moment of your passion, Burning up within the atmosphere of your warm embrace, dearest. Drawn by your gravitational impact on me, I will be your comet, returning to you each day without burning away as rapid as a meteor. Darling, alike a blazing Sun you make me melt. ~ Umi

Stones
Sunflowers Good morning world. After the deluge of yesterday I am sun-kissed once again. Look out of the window. Two gardens up stand sunflowers. Heads the size of dinner plates. Seems rather late this summer. Late in coming. For their gifts to be pasted to the sky. They stand in a sort of floppy gestures. Trying to support their heavy heads. They remind me on this autumn morn with blazing sun. That summer's almost gone! By ladylivvi1 © 2013 ladylivvi1 (All rights reserved)

Things we lost in the fire, Sometimes the things we loose while in battle are not physical things But rather characters of ourselves I lost my bravery I used to be able to jump into anything with guns blazing Yet today I cannot decide what's my next step Because I lost my most prized possession I lost my bravery Bravery has always been my tool to make the most of my life Never afraid to loose Of everything I lost in the fire I miss my bravery the most

Bravery
Did you see the bliss Shoot across the night sky? Here then there so quickly Like a blink could project its moment Yet when crumbling Into the quake of memory It is the window's remaining rain Trickling down so slowly after the storm Until all that is left is its drying trail Clear to see the tired clouds sink behind A heart so weathered Never truly sleeps. Never rests The hallow beats manifest Into the crippling visions of the night Blanketed by such distress Until the rising light does nothing But awaken the regrets that were left on the nightstand Like a book with one chapter No where left to turn Do you see the ache Shining dim in the night sky? Like a footprint in the moon's dust As alone as one could ever walk Do you see the shame? Like forty dying stars Their fiery, blazing eyes Watching every paranoid jitter

Like Forty Dying Stars
A sudden jealousy a envious eye. A voiceless pattern within this head of mine. A vigilant figure, watchful eye. A masked emotion on a blazing red sky. I don't dare voice my thoughts because they are of scorn, my inside twist scary storms. A feeling, a urge to should, a voice so broken to see her stripped but to me she does not belong so i numb this pain till i see it rain away.

Route 84 would not lend me the light of a star last night Radio blazing at 75 mph nonsense noise to chew gum by Crackling political commentary Static of distance and thick clouds Invisible mountains blocking Memories seeping through the cracks coating the music in a film I rub my eyes watch myself punch alert buttons But it’s the angels’ jukebox tonight Roll down the window Watch the heat escape Summer again I am building a castle of ancient stones pulverized by relentless tides Dragged across maps by mastodons and mammoth glaciers The scouring hiss the ocean sighs Time has lulled these smoothly rolling them in the softest hands of sand and gels of life’s comings and goings tenderly tumbling in the millionth moonrise— Time deposits them here wet and glistening For the girl with the plaid two-piece to gather Shoulders sun-burnt barely say one week only, one week of the fifty two “It’s the time of the season…” and daddies on the beach are watching…. She has chosen yet another stone And the castle continues— in oblivion to all but her legend…      The queen will be safe here      from the rabble      The disgraced Tristan will surely seek her      Among these lofty cliffs      Between the raging circuit of the tide      Here winds forbid the vengeful mob      Here lovers learn      the debt of love’s bad timing      “Drink ye all of it!”      --the potion that assigns our sorrow….      She will not sleep—      while I chew this gum--  GUM? Roll down the window! Angels escape with the heat Waking me with the brush of their wings As that eighteen-wheeler hugs my flank And leans on the horn Lights flashing Rude rumbling under right tires Tantrum of snow In the draft of mass and velocity …and the angels? They’ve chosen another good one! They must’ve liked the 80’s Their wings slapping the windshield madly   Their hands steady the wheel

Love her like She's the raging sea, Unrestrained and dark and deep. And you crave her touch Through aching pores As you slowly drown in sleep. Love her like She's the tender storm, A lovely shade of grey. Like with every whiff Of breath she takes, She's taking yours away. Love her like She's the silent clouds With calmness floating by. Like you'd want to make Sweet love to her Under the moon's apocalyptic eye. Love her like She's the blazing fire, And you lust the candied pain. Like she's the disease That swallowed you whole And you'd like to die again. When her gentle touch Makes your chest explode, And your addiction is your girl. Promise you'll love her Through hell and back, Or don't you dare love her at all.

LOVE HER LIKE
I'm gazing up, I'm gazing high. Let me watch the stars tonight. It mightn't give me better grades, or wash my clothes or clean the plates, or make me famous, make me rich, or change the direction of my fate. And it won't just fix the politics, or save the falling economy, or cease these tiring, endless wars and it won't eradicate poverty. But even if there's nothing right, let me watch the stars tonight. Hitchhiking through the galaxy, a blazing comet passes by, and waves to billion specks of light, those sparkling diamonds in the sky. Tomorrow I may change the world, or I might even exercise. Tonight I'm gazing up and high, I'm looking at the stars tonight.

STARGAZING
Impatience rode and passed me by, I caught her looking down on me, cuttingly, with her gems for eyes. scornfully, sighting me up & down. Laughingly, the sadistic mirth in her vision spoke: "Ha-ha, Yes, I've caught your attention, how little you know; a simple race with men & your limbs fail. How then will you run with horses?" I took wisdom from that evil look of thought. In that moment, I pulled on My Covering much tighter, that Humble but Faith-full Cloak, I wrapped around me firmly averting my eyes to the blazing fire before me, warming myself in the comfort of its gaze, patiently waiting... …waiting for horses. © Qwey.ku

PATIENCE DEAR FRIEND - PATIENCE
What was I to do? When you said my eyes are your favorite color blue. Was I not supposed to fall for you? You set traps, you see. And I fell for every one. The thunder of the sea met the burning sun. Pounding in my ears, And blazing through my eyes. I didn't know that it was you, while we lived our separate lives. No more searching, I can rest. My soul knew you from the start. It's too bad that all my best still finds you wanting us apart. So I'll remember what you said, about my eyes and the color blue. And I'll be waiting in the quiet while my heart lives on with you.

The desert, A sea of sand, drought and dry air under a scorching, blazing Sun, The wind may feel alike a cut, which burns through your senses, Relentless, the heat takes over by day, yet by night it is cold enough to freeze you if you come unprepared. Such would be a foolish idea, A dessert of thoughts, driving into my brain, leaving ideas uncovered Leaving productivity hidden, under the sand of hatred and self doubt Such places, landscapes, covered by firy silicate or ice are truly lethal, Such state of mind, covered by uncertainty is truly lethal, for ones wonderful creativity, for art of all kind, conveyed or material, if you might wander through such a land without any guide to help out, Worry not, for after every drought comes rain, blissful rain to fertilise the soil of thoughts which will blossom in wonderous ways, to shine, After all, motion without movement cannot be possible so try to move A wise friend once tought me, that if you give it enough time, even a nigh impossibility becomes a certainty, even a desert could be a forest But until then, be patient my dear, even the most deserted place, carries some beauty in it, no ? ~ Umi

Desert
*what forests are those we pass, blazing along the railway tracks, a tree bloom of still cranes, stream black of ******* bane, stench of dead city rubble, factories of rusted cast metal, distant cotton twilight skies, sun slide across a bunch of wires,     passing tunnels echo lonely platforms, frantic gecko, looming hillside, crackle dry wood fire, a god barred in lock&key,  blink glimpse of the sea  one rush of vision, pebble fling at frisson, metal-crunch rhythm, grind music sublime, spark, grunt, grate, we arrive, we dissipate...*

Manila, Manila, Your bustling streets vibrate with the rumbling of the jeepneys and the hollers of the drivers as they say, “Pasahero diyan, kasya pa, kasya pa!”; (Any passenger there, some seats are still free!) Your nights twinkle with the Christmas lights that surround every tree around the Meralco building when September begins; Your endless traffic jams keep McDonald’s and KFC alive twenty-four by seven where traffic enforcers dodge cars and vans trucks and tricycles and jeepneys and bicycles while dancing to the rhythm beating in their own ears with a smile and a salute to all the drivers from dawn to dusk; The noise awakens the outskirts of your city filled with people who never fails to smile even when the storm pirouettes like a tempestuous ballerina, where children watch the roads transform into this ocean of black water and small wooden boats become the means of transportation; paddling in between houses as the adults try to go to work; where chickens waddling upon roofs and cats chasing rats become the best forms of entertainment but Manila, your lingering smell of cancer comes with the dark blue starless sky telling people to grip their bags until it merges with their bodies. Manila, say good night while they hold it tight protecting it from the dark humid air where thieves come out to thumb down unscrutinised objects from shallow pockets by the flickering lamps across the blazing red and emerald green lights you see less and less and less faces as the Sun sinks and says good bye. Stop and try to tranquilise yourself. Your city is now lead by a blood-thirsty leader. Apologies from gunshots overpower the cries of help from your people. Manila, ignore them and sleep well. Let the truth decay while lives burn and vanish. Prayers cannot save your mutinous ignominy. Halcyon days are over but Manila, you are still a beautiful city. Your resilient people overflows with hospitable hearts. Their faces plastered with big smiles as they welcome us for you and say, “Mabuhay!” (Long live!) proud and mighty. Offering their minds on banana leaf plates to everyone who visits, Giving away their hearts in small loot bags to everyone who leaves, The Pearl of the Orient Seas was my hood. Manila, despite your lack of snow and intense weather swings, You are and will always be my home.

~ *Rainbows in a sky of blue with clouds of grey beyond, Ripples lapping lilypads, upon a golden pond, Just above me and you Blanketing our passion As our loving ensues The sky watches us on A cool breeze on a summer's day, my love within my arms, Clouds that block the blazing sun, a coyish smile that charms, All these things and more I dream when sleep mine eyes doth close, But most of all, a peace within, and love that always grows.* ~

I melt *when your desire speaks as you wrap yourself around me like the night…* I lose myself *as I swim in the pool of your eyes moving my finger’s oh so light…* Passion devours me *when you say my name as it rolls off your tongue so very fine…* Ecstasy falls on me *like the sparkles of fallen stardust covering me until I glisten and shine…* Delight fills me *as I become mesmerized by sweet sensations as eyes are blazing bright…* I melt *when your desire speaks as you wrap yourself around me like the night…..* I melt *In the presence of your love… ~*

Sweet Sensations
Dear beautiful evergreen rooted down in the field strongly upholding itself like it has an impenetrable shield The one that has experienced blazing summers and freezing winters not only seen warfare but watched it from the center winds blew it west and east but it never went left or right had blood on its leaves but never got into a fight Dear beautiful evergreen That stands there all yearlong keep your roots rooted and continue to be strong

Beautiful Evergreen
I lie on my back at midnight hearing the marvelous strange chime of the clocks, and know it's mid- night and in that instant the whole world swims into sight for me in the form of beautiful swarm- ing m u t t a worlds- everything is happening, shining Buhudda-lands, bhuti blazing in faith, I know I'm forever right & all's I got to do (as I hear the ordinary extant voices of ladies talking in some kitchen at midnight oilcloth cups of cocoa cardore to mump the rinnegain in his darlin drain-) i will write it, all the talk of the world everywhere in this morning, leav- ing open parentheses sections for my own accompanying inner thoughts-with roars of me all brain-all world roaring-vibrating-I put it down, swiftly, 1,000 words (of pages) compressed into one second of time-I'll be long robed & long gold haired in the famous Greek afternoon of some Greek City Fame Immortal & they'll have to find me where they find the t h n u p f t of my shroud bags flying flag yagging Lucien Midnight back in their mouths-Gore Vidal'll be amazed, annoyed- my words'll be writ in gold & preserved in libraries like Finnegans Wake & Visions of Neal

Daydreams for Ginsberg
Shadows blossom in corners where light is at the center of this room.. I play music I have never heard.. I turn the light off and the shadows become void..   Into the darkness they mix with eachother.. That is until one of them lights a candle.. The shadows play among the candle light.. The candle light slowly dies away.. It was then a grand shadow brought forth a blazing candle.. The blazing candle lights up creating days across the cosmos.. The shadows call the blazing candle a sun.. The sun burns and burns for almost forever.. Other shadows in corners of the expanse do the same.. They light their own candles creating suns.. They later name the far away suns stars.. The universe has become lit... Because shadows missed the light I had turned off..
