"bibbidi" poems
I loved you. _Yes, I did._ But I should’ve known better than to have believed the web of lies you sprouted at me. I should’ve known better than to believe your “I love you.” _Why did I take that bite from the apple, if only I had known it was poisoned._ My mother warned me about strangers with blue eyes walking down the street. She said that was why she was protecting me. _I should've never let down my golden hair, if only I had known._ It didn’t have to wait until the clock struck 12:00 midnight for it to happen; bibbidi-bobbidi-boo, I’ll have to hand it to you, you really had me fooled. _You were never Charming, I needed to be my own Prince._ I’m stuck in a timeless blank, neither moving forward nor back, a canvas that has not been painted yet and sadness is the only color I know. _I’m afraid I don’t have much patience to wait for a 100 years for true love’s first kiss._ A thousand times you tore my walls down, tore me apart and even when I’m at a chokehold, I thought it was still love. _Maybe I was a fool to have thought there was beauty in the beast._ I traded my heart for something temporary, I lost my voice just to let you step all over me, and some part of me hates that I’d still let you if we were to try all over again. _I’ve become the foam of bubbles lost in the sea because I couldn’t hurt you the way you hurt everyone._

Not a Fairytale.
pink silk, floral embroidery black ribbon, white trimmings paired with soft slippers & a twinkling tiara Bibbidi-bobbidi- Boo! mirror flashed, smiling sweetly is a princess; skirt floating & feathery feet pivoting dancing in the woods with merry deer & singing birds follow the faeries, drown in their music the shinning flutes & playful pipe luring one to a gentle doze low bells chiming woke up to an enchanted ruin, go home, go home crawling thorns & ****** roses greedy crows & harden earth body bursting & long limbs stretching mirror grinned, a princess no more but a grown woman

Princess Dress
If there's a baboon and there's a buffoon, a tangle it always takes two. Put them together and what have you got? Two bibbidi-bobbidi-boobs! If they're in a room, you'll hear a KABOOM! The whole house will become a zoo! Cause you put together what I said do not! Two bibbidi-bobbidi-boobs! They're constantly slammin doors! Sounds like someone brought in a horse! Stompin and hoppin and ploppin and droppin, two bibbidi-bobbidi-boobs! If there's a baboon and there's a buffoon, a tangle it always takes two. Put them together and what have you got? Two bibbidi-bobbidi-boobs!

Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boobs
Could I word it, I tried a thousand times, What came forth was not what was Expected. a quick removal spell was Needed with all, they weren't life Just words taken form. "Abracadabra" I tried as I must, for what are words But power under breath, and I breathed a lot, hands and knees greeted The floor more times than you wish To know. I would ponder the thoughts And the way each part told. "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" But was it my wording, my accent playing A part in all spells going wrong, was It to much  to ask for just one thing to Happen right not wrong. "Alakazam" So many to be said, different things to Do, which one would work on what I wondered or who. "Dam this stick" "Dam this book" "Dam these words" "SIGH" I want to do this trick to make a wish come true. "Open sesame" And with that one word I had spelt all was What was meant to be, not guessing, mumbling, unrecognizable words I had spelt it out, used thought and in that moment All that I wanted. "A rose for my mummy"   Appeared in a petal of rainbow colours That smelt like popcorn sweet not sugar mind you. Given to her on mothers day, hi mum what do you think.

Just Spell It Out
Peter Peter cottontail Tie your noose, don’t let it trail you’ll be gone, you’ll be so young Just like all the other ones Jack be nimble, jack be quick Don’t you know the baby’s sick? She’ll be dead before you know So hurry up, don’t be so slow Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo Fairy Godmother, where were you? The gun was put up to their head You didn’t stop them from being dead Twinkle twinkle little star Won’t you tell us where they are? They left and yet your mouth is shut You saw that bomb that blew them up Fairy tale’s might be there To entertain, but beware They won’t help you in the end No, fairy tales are not your friend

Fairy Tales
Bright yellow sun, you saw me crying alone, Without a dream in my heart, Without a beautiful lover of my own. I don't think I will love ever again. Yellow sun, you knew just what I was there for, You heard me saying a prayer for, A beautiful lover I really could love forever. I heard the wind whisper ''Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo." And then suddenly appearing in front of me, The only woman my arms could ever hold. It's you, who I've been searching all my life. But when I looked closer, You turned into a Princess dressed in a white gown behind a magic mirror! No! Oh oh oh... Why are we half a world apart and separated by half a lifetime? Bright sun, now I'm no longer alone, Looking with a sad heart, without a beautiful lover of my own. To my heart, I must be true. A sad day will never empty my heart again, We go together, Like the gayageum and haegeum, playing Arirang. Remembered forever through time, Dreaming of us meeting on a warm April spring day half a world away,
I'm loving, loving, loving you. Copyright © 2016 Ronald J Chapman All Rights Reserved.

Magic Mirror
He’ll take her to the dance why do i try? Why do I smile, when he makes me want to cry? She’s the perfect princess, he’s the perfect king, I guess I need to redress, and learn how to clean.
