"beggs" poems
A beggar I once met At the port of La Goulette Greeted me with a nod But he spoke to me not. A beggar I once met At the port of La Goulette Made me wonder all night: What's a beggar who beggs not? c) LazharBouazzi *La Goulette is a seaport town in the northern suburbs of Tunis.

The Beggar of La Goulette*
Heart tormented throughout the age Seeing nothing but destruction Cruelty the best of the worst Scarred for life By a mother's emotional abuse Never feeling comfortable around men Afraid of anything more indepth than *** Finding a nonjudgemental man Thinking to repairing the past Unknowingly mimics the mother Finally swept away off the feet Married, optimistic of the future A child born early New mother now turns the page Happy as can be Hormones a woman's curse Cause heartache and despair Mixed with the abuse of the past Trying to over come Badly, wanting to be good Years pass by like rain Flooding the family as it grows No desire felt, yet in love for sure Lost, scared Self preservation reigns high Sins of the mother passed down Sharp tongue, quick wit Cutting deeply through the love Wants despartely to want, need Tries to hang on to give not take Illness prevails Striking down Hormones and desire all put aside Attempts to reach out Just cannot You stop trying and give up It gets worse Make it stop mommy Don't leave Daddy Tear paint the canvas Have I been so cruel Ungiving and cold Cirumstances piling up Body becoming older Beggs and pleads to try to fix Isn't just a cold hearted woman A beautiful soul inside Just needs nourishment Don't turn away Don't toss tthis lifeaway Not into the trash Try harder Meet a quarter of the way Whatever you decide Please Don't turn away

Turmoils
The silver glinting edge shines inches away It's like un itchable scratch An unquenchable thirst An unsatisfyable hunger It's so close It beggs to consumed It beggs be drowned in crimson pain It beggs to eat away the perfect canvas It's so close Just one more Just one more Just one more It's so close A sighlent voice only I can hear "You could do it you know" "It wouldn't be that hard" It's so close It's begging makes me cave.

Unrachable
"I can't do this anymore!" She screams slidding down the wall burying her head in her knees. "Then stop fighting us" The voices in her head whisper. "I can't give in!" She crys grabbing fist fulls of her hair. "Give in no one will miss you." They tell her. "No, please stop." She beggs. "Your worthless" "Ugly" "A waste of space" "A mistake" She harshly wipes her tears away and stands up. She starts walking towards her closet. "Fat" "A nobody " "Loser" She opens the closet door and looks for the 'box'. **** yourself " the voices chant. She grabs the box and opens the lid. She pulls out a gun and a heart breaking sob betrays her. "Hurry before its to late" Knock-knock Someone knocks on her door as she loads the gun and points it at her head. "Sweet heart dinners rea...NOO!" Her mother screams as she pulls the trigger.

1..2..3..Suicide
Beneath my feet Lys green grass A ball approaching from a distance hesitating, thinking should I catch or ignore it but I think fast and react just before it passes my vision I look up and there lyes a child smiling with joy Her mother following closly behind like a fumble at a football game She smiles and thanks me for my unheroic deed As she walks away my heart beggs me to ask her stay So I reacted quickly "saying" please mistress would please join me on my lonly read in the park She answers well I would hate to intrude but I will if you insist She sits closely enough to where her hair brushes my face The suns beautiful rays of sunshine brings out her beautiful eyes Dark and brown where the color of her eyes Her skin so soft like sleeping on air suspended by nothing but love........ Part 2 Coming soon

love has found a mate
Broken and torn Only a stiched-up rag doll Remains in her place. And she rembered trying So hard not to cry While sitting on that Church pew, And she rembered trying To ease the pain When the blade cut Into her worn-out wrist. She would punish herself For being so blind And letting herself get hurt. The first time she saw him again Was on the sidewalk. It tore her appart inside, Every inch of flesh Peeled off her brittle bones And was thrown to the floor. And she rermbered trying Not to mess up the braiding Of the noose she began To weave right after he left. And she rembered trying To throw that noose away, Only to dig it out of the trash again. And she still loves him, No matter how much it hurts. He is now oblivious to her existance So why wold he care about The girl inside her he killed? The corpse she carries, The one that holds her hand And beggs her not to hold Anyone elses hand again. At night sometimes thay dance, She and her dead friend To the music that will play In the rotting corpses head. She throws herself into that movement, The fluid furry of flying limbs. Dancing and dancing like mad Untill she rembers him again.
