"bamba" poems
We sat stupefied with the expats,
eyes wide open telling lies
between repeats of
La Bamba & Lady Grinning Soul.
Peter Gunn screamed sax
through the hypnotic-haze,
the place was a ******* rat hole.
Sticky seats smelt like
**** burnt toast & dead feet.
A one-ton greasy bartender
sat on a low stool,
drooled on his cigar
rather than smoking it.
He counted his dough
about every six minutes.
Shadows of waifish tired-women
floated by us like wispy-clouds.
With tricks hand-in-hand,
they moved in and out of
the proverbial back rooms,
an odor of primordial-slime hung.
This was what they called
the tropical-island high-life,
a swanky place where ten bucks
could get you an hour of whore-thrills.
It was actually a cheap-ass brothel
disguised as a night club,
tucked away somewhere
in the middle of nowhere,
the skankiest
of Never Never Lands.
It was by far,
the saddest place
I've ever visited on Earth.

**** you people and your 2D polo's
please use me for to tape down cords
and I will use you for credit.
credibility
I had enough
and I would never take a recommendation
from a polo like you.
but was the credit really worth it or three?
did I need this experience?
knowing the world is gonna **** you is a no brainer
but learning and not being paid is like an underdog
smothered and stomped
you are an intern
and you are unpaid for me...
You know how it feels
but do you know how it starts
those eyes and words.. slowly creep in
or maybe the words don't even show
worst of all those looks linger on after
do something great... ___________
do something wrong- __________fool
don't you know what a bamba mamba is?
I thought I was here to figure out what a bamba mamba was?

Saguaros stood
like spiny-sentinels
as I sped along the Camino,
alone,
top down.
Warm winds &
tequila-breath
burned my shot-eyes
when I first spotted
the thumbing Lupita,
way south of Ensenada
on good 'ole 1.
Her graceful
toothy-smile
under her full lips
seemed gracious
as I pulled up
alongside her,
kicked the door open.
She hopped in
& we catapulted
with her hair streaming &
brown-skin shining
in the falling sun.
We hit high speeds
smiling
as we continued
south, driving
into the coming night.
Twinkling-stars
& static-filled
La Bamba-tunes
kept us company.
We discussed
sacred-mysteries
in broken languages,
later, counted
each others toes,
rubbed noses
in my bedroll.
In the morning,
she was gone
left me a note
& the ruffled rose
she had pinned
in her raven-black hair.
As I drove off
in a dreamy-state,
somewhat disappointed,
a spiraling one,
a lone black bird
trailed behind me,
I'm sure it was her.
Soon, she disappeared
from my rear view memory,
but never out of my mind.

The end of another instalment of this little battle of teasing dad
I am trying to tell everyone I am cool and dad says you see still getting teased, even if you if you say that
You can handle people ditching me, but the natural fact I ditched him in a way, you see I wanted to make new friends and the friend I came in with just nicked off home leaving me to party all night at the firehouse, cause I thought doing that was cool, I realise that when you drink alcohol you sometimes feel a little shy as you listen to the music that sounds a bit sad but you bounce back up when they play a fast song like La Bamba gets played you start getting down and party down really hard and even if you down real hard, and I also think they treat me like a real cool dude and some men said I was a great ugly snout and I decided to say it too dad, but that was just the start of the little instalment of teasing dad, because he sort of concentrates on trying to keep his family safe, which is cool, and I love him for it, but I want him to realise that I did it to be closer with people my own age so I could avoid being treated like real old fogie when they pass away, cause I want my brother to have a good life and I want him to sort of not be shy to be a man., even if or goes against everything he believes in because we aren't invincible and I don't want him to be treated like me really, or try and do what he wanted to mainly because you can't change the past but I want his daughters to love him for the person he is, and I know that they are saying I am not a young dude for the way I used to act but I don't want the family to say to Chris that they finally got rid of hue yeah mate yeah kid, cause sometimes in life you have to do things you don't wanna do to gain respect, I got teased but I still enjoyed myself
But this another instalment of teasing dad, I want Chris to leave the old fogies on their own big, but I am doing that anyway, but that is another chapter in the saga, I don't want to be like dad to a tease but I ain't shy because I was really cool when I was young

***** addled eyes
glare bamba laya
dance monkeys
and thrill freaky
tinkling lady fingers
that glide rosy shaped bottle *****
for laden boughs
of wick and petrol mix.
she said
dont make me say 666
possum claw and dagger *****
kissy talk
ooo nooo nooo
not the inflatable Jesus with silver fangs
that tears mercilessly
at my innocent trembling curves
and promiscuous spirit
her sighs and thighs
like flesh stellar nebula
opens curtsy ****
red mutating mouth
labyrinth of undulating petals
gasps spit and pearls
this swallowing scavenger
throat of spiral armed galaxies
like sails of fire
yield wet lips
while diamond eyes smoke
hounded moons
to lick summers perfume
menstruum's ****** tongue
drinking you

Buddy Holly sings in Neptune galactic pub
Every day in the after life, I
Come here to sing this great song and think
About my life on earth
You see, old mate, I was so very famous
And my death was recorded on the film La Bamba
Yes, it was a real oom life for me, oh yeah, yeah, oh yeah yeah
You see when I see my next life doing his wander
At the show toward the roller coaster
I always thought, I missed all my friends on planet earth
I lived my life down there to the fullest
And everyone went to see me play at the theatre
And I noticed that they had Buddy Holly shows still on
So old people like me, can keep me living on yeah, yeah, oh yeah yeah
As soon as I died with Valens and the big bopper
I thought I will never be a cool show stopper
But everyone who loved me on earth, can
Still see me performing on Saturn , Jupiter , neptune
And I also tried Mercury too, ooh ooh ooh ooh
The back up bands are better here
I can enjoy singing and drink my beer
Because I ain't the man I was on earth
You see, mate I was so immortal dude, oh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah
So now if you want to **** yourself, because you don't want to suffer
Think about the time you had on earth, and see if it is really worth it
To end your life on earth really, mate, do you wsnt that
Oh yeah, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
So let's party on Mercury tonight, get down
