Axes After whose stroke the wood rings, And the echoes! Echoes traveling Off from the center like horses. The sap Wells like tears, like the Water striving To re-establish its mirror Over the rock That drops and turns, A white skull, Eaten by weedy greens. Years later I Encounter them on the road---- Words dry and riderless, The indefatigable hoof-taps. While From the bottom of the pool, fixed stars Govern a life.

While Driving at Eighty-Four
Hums of swinging blades and axes, Wailing of voices, Ricochets of guns. Secrets whispered in private, Declamation exclaimed in public, Hymns sung, Words spoken. People are the weapon. We must not doubt ourselves. All conflict, No matter the position, Comes from a common source. People are the weapons. All else, extensions- Of the arm, Of the leg, Of the mind, Of the heart; All extensions of the person. By extension, A person is an extension Of the people. Let the power of the individual Never lie unknown, For in one person Is the concentrated power Of everyone.

People Are The Weapon, Part 2
* * - My silver Knight, shining with angelic splendour has sailed towards the outer regions of my Kingdom to lay waste to all my enemies. My heart in hands, my hands are clasped, brought alive with love, with light, with prayer. Please, come back to me. As I think of arrows piercing his breast, or swords, or warhammers or even axes I cannot, will not ever dance to the songs of war. A fire that claims souls, the earth that drinks blood, a sight that makes my stomach turn To see men fighting for a cause or no cause at all. For war rapes all of happiness and loved ones. Oh! Begone tortuous thoughts! Revolting facts! He will return. He will return! For my nation prays with fervour, but all have bleary-eyes, no more than me. He's gone to brave the dragon's dawn - of men branded, fuelled by the flames of war, riding into the fields on their snow kissed mounts, roaring and clashing under a broken sky; the kiss of steel, blades that dance between life and death and give any and many the kiss of Eternal Sleep. The harp of his silver tongue plays soft, gentle and true. Hand in hand, we walk through fields, of my dreams divine! The ambition, the care, the charm glowing in your eyes to be something more. To you, I was a muse to climb and soar though the heights, and you spoke so highly of my golden sapient quill. My heart, heavy, full of woe As sleep has not come smoothly to my face, my body, my heart, my soul. You promised me, 'I will return to you.'   'I will return to you,' how your voice hung so sweet in my ear, ripe with love, vibrant with hope, certain as the rising light Please do not fade away, I could not bear it! Please don't fade away! Bring unto me that gold and joyous hour! Fair the storms and roars; overcome the shores, slay and return to me from the dragon's dawn, unscathed and with a smile on your handsome face. - * *

If I die young, don't let my family put me in a church or place they deem holy, for its not holy to me. If I die young, lay me down by the roots of an old oak tree. Let the wind blows my hair and caress my cold skin If I die young, take care of her. Take care of the girl I taught like a daughter and loved like a sister Teach her everything is okay and that I was once ashes and I will be ashes once more. Tell her I loved her and give her all my possessions Teach her that I will be okay and I will watch over her as she grows up strong and wise like I taught her. If I die young, take care of my children. The ones who fight against their monsters with battle axes and confidence that I'll be proud of them Tell them I died fighting just as they are now And tell them never to give up because I'm still so proud. If I die young, burn me with the logs of trees long dead Let my ashes spread through the sky and fall like fresh snow Make sure to give everyone my best. If I die young, please Please don't forget about me

Preserving and Conserving (Paradelle Poem)
The anvils rang and the hammers rose To beat out bright blades of dwarvish steel These were blades for elven kings For soon the wars would rage The Mordor hordes were marching From the blacklands they would come Bringing death and desolation To the green and pleasant lands But the elven hosts were marching Alongside dwarves and men And the eagles circled above them Eyes searching every vale and glen Bright were the swords of the elven kings Tightly strung the bows Heavy the axes and hammers of the mountain dwarves Long and fierce the spears of men The horse lords rode there on the flanks And also in the van They would be the first to fight When the orchish hordes came into sight Orc riders the target for their spears Wargs the targets for their swords To buy the times for the elven kings To form their battle lines

Of Elves, Dwarves and Men
I Tomorrow waits in the dried plant bones splintering balcony karma next to the ****** galatic twilight. Moon poems paralyzing yonder one color chess matches on transcended leather --thigh laughter buried alive in rubble under fifteen cushions of red flesh. Let's go wave our bottom banners undying in the realm of lifetimes and its spontaneous chases. Plethora inhales from one-legged warlords under fragrant wash pillars obstructing the pilgrimage of wrapping my stranger around a blade. The second blameless pantheon of Christianity. II put down the flowers, thought scars from a thirsty delusion that taste the industry instruction deep in meditation spoons that pierce the sides of students. Heaven rains/*angelic ************ on the obscure sail drifting towards the horizon --a mad-religious shape from the bottom banners undying III there isn't even the smallest incense that the earth's door shortens, an attempt in debt to defame the impregnable summer with washroom axes on the grape's night before you and I snap.

[Divine Feminine] On ze road again.
I knew a man once who could read the trees He'd stand in a field with nothing on And look at them for hours (He couldn't talk to flowers) But he would pour over every branch Trace every knot and feel their bark He translated a sycamore for me once But oaks and beeches were his favourite He said he just preferred their type. The elbow bends told him of seasons The trunk's tilt told the prevailing winds Their denseness in relation to their neighbours Told him all manner of gossipy things. The colours and the hues told of the soil The moulds and lichens the local fashions He'd tell you if they'd ever been frightened By hippies, chainsaws, axes or lightening. And as I looked on, I realised something As I read his naked body with no clothes This man was obviously a stark raving lunatic.

The Tree Whisperer
She was a poison oak Growing in my side Twisting out from my spine and nearly toppling my balance Her roots taking nutrients from organs Making sustenance from draining me After years of clawing at her trunk so close to me with ****** fingernails My hands are the axes that I have so desperately needed And with one swift chop she is released from me And that is it With years of build up to this point all it took was a single axe to break the bond And it is broken But her roots lay deep within my spine Aching Gnawing Pushing And I must recognize that it will take time before the she is completely out of my system Before all of the splinters that she has left behind are pushed through my skin and into daylight

Where echos bound off cavern walls Thundering, spacious water falls Giving power to the ember furnace Crafters work with full earnest Our clang of metal forming metal Our  laughter around the stew-filled kettle Lacboring long into the night Carrying lanterns for our light A golden tint in the arenose air A rich man's delight, deep in this lair A cornucopia of jewels and stone Picks and axes spark on the hone Melted metals with tools of the trade Upon the anvil are ceremoniously laid To be shaped and formed into desires By light of the blazing, crimson fires Where we find sweat and danger as one And rarely journey out into the sun Have amity with our fellow men And all write to loved ones with one pen The cavern echos, the rays of gold This ancient house of tales untold To find this place, a costly fee For a way of  escape will never be

A Mining Craftsmen
My window allows me to look out on a meadow. Nothing but grass, shrubs, meadow flowers and weeds. The trees are in my eye line yet, so far away they stand like soldiers on parade. So, just a simple window, with a view of nature. This window though is more than glass It's a portal to the past. I know, I've been there, and barely came back. Souls walk in the meadow, they emerge from the trees They beckon me to walk with them in the Autumn breeze. Once, as a child I ran outside to look at all the people Some wore bonnets, some had swords, others axes Such was the horde. I remember the scene vividly. Yet, they were all grey, even in the sun. Then, they all turned and saw me. Their eyes were white, opaque, like a drowned person's Tattered fabric clung to bleached bones Mouths moved with soundless words Pleading arms outstretched To me the little girl that opened the door onto the meadow. I ran from the meadow screaming, tears streaming icy fingers creeping toward me, hands grabbing, over my shoulder I turned and looked, they'd stopped right at the meadow's boundary, pleading into thin air. What did they want? I was just a child. I could do nothing for those souls lost in limbo outside my window.

Kerbala I weep bitterly still, Thousands in numbers for a meagre few to **** For the injustice meted out 1400 years ago, To enforce allegiance  and satisfy their ego Kerbala I weep bitterly still, For the innocent who had done no ill, Where Hussain stood against injustice and oppression, Against undue aggression. Kerbala I weep bitterly still, Tears of blood my eyes fill, Where Hussain's seventy-two kinsmen were slain on the scorching sand, Hardships and cruelties they were ready to withstand, Denied food and water for three days, Ready to die in Allah's ways. Kerbala I weep bitterly still, My tears continue to spill, When I listen to the orator, How Hussain's six month son was denied water, Instead pierced to death with a three headed arrow, Which a father from the neck had to withdraw. How Hussain's brother's hands were severed and he was killed because he took water from R.Euphrates in a *** for his niece, A brother who emanated love and peace. How they battered to death  Hussain's eighteen year old son, an exact resemblance of Prophet Muhammed(SAW), Prime in his youth,a great sorrow Kerbala I weep bitterly still, My tears continue to spill How Hussain was slain, On the scorching sand, Without food and water, With 999 wounds, blood splurting out of all parts of his body, to be slaughtered, Forty thousand army raining arrows at him from all directions, Blood blurring his vision He, Hussain alone, unable to move a limb, A target to satisfy their whims Some threw stones, some pierced spears and others wounded him with axes, The leader kicked Hussain and tried to slaughter his neck with a blunt knife, Not that way, you cannot take my life, And Hussain said,"Let me prostrate before Allah and pray for forgiveness for my people, Wounded and feeble, With an inner strength Hussain heaved himself and gave the last Sajda(prostation), The enemy severed off his head from his body without hesitation. Hussain kept his promise to his grandfather to sacrifice his head for Islam, That day the skies, earth and nature wept bitterly for Hussain(Alai Salam). Who would not? The tragedy of Kerbala would evoke deep grief even in the heedless.

What if trees could move Would they stay where we do Would they filter our CO2 I say the answer's NO. They would rather want a place of their own Away from humans with axes and saws Where they'll be at peace Doing stuff like photosynthesis. Wonder what would happen then Wait,Don't bother,Do not say We'll all be dead anyway!

THEY GO,WE DIE
The screams of men, women and children flooded the blood filled streets of District 13.Whips, chains, axes, i could hear everything. The sound of a man's head been chopped off, a baby screaming for it's mother suddenly cut short. This is what the Capitol does to us, for rebelling.I stand here, my seventeen year self watching as everyone I know is brutally murdered. My mother, my eldest sister, my youngest sister and my baby brother.I couldn't cry, all my tears had been wasted for tears. My face stained with blood and tears.I hear the peacekeeper coming towards me.I can tell them by the sound of their heavy white boots crushing the rocks beneath them.My breathing quickens, what if they **** me? I'll be brutally murdered, never to see the light of day.I gulp as I hear their footsteps stop.I try not to make any sound. Not to move.I wish i could just run away from them. But that makes them to **** me more, by shooting me with their guns.

District 13
There're swords, lots of them, and long-bows, with fresh, eager arrows jostle with notched expert axes; legendary hair frame braided beards flowing into refilled tankards drowning curses through broken teeth gnawing at poor personal hygiene across the stench of the public tavern as granite-stares challenge bone-shattering laughter. - All as anticipated - there's Orcs about and the prescribed heroes assemble. - - Slow rolling leaden mist cloaks howling creatures at dawn from deep within the forest, then disabling rain falls at dusk and steel clashes with steel in the storm… - All these exploits ferment short of full strength and stretch onto a wide Winter screen before facing the final critical battle for a 12A Christmas.

*i. He told her That mathematics was too Sombre. Too, too Linear To be poetic. She said that He had only seen himself In a mirror, A reversed hologram Of his external self Burned into his retinas with His subconscious filling in the gaps. But she had seen him The rays reflected straight off him Into her eyes; Not some half-assed reflection Off some silvered surface. ii. She said that His jawline was The slope of a curve Pencilled on a graph sheet. His candlewax skin A wavelength Quantifiable on paper. His spine A number line with Dashes, to show real numbers The set of which was infinite. She said that A Fibonacci sketch was A minimalist rose, A post-modern bouquet. And that The reflected pale morning sun In a half finished cup of camomile tea Was a cardioid With fixed coordinate values on the axes And an algorithmic tangent. And he Was a negative infinity A paradox not sorted under Quine's classification system. iii. She had Recorded his heartbeat and blood pressure; Measured the distance between his lips with her own; Tried so hard, so very, very hard To put him down in a numerical form And write him off as an equation. But all she could say was That he was more Than the sum total of his meagre parts And that she Was his reciprocal value.*

A Non-Euclidean Quandary
Oh, those poor peasants without a *** to **** in who celebrate their thin-skinned twittering king ascending in his gilded elevator of gold stolen from the empty plates of those who do pay taxes with real axes to grind it boggles my mind just what in the hell could they have been thinking I mean, Sweet Jesus, we'll all be refugees in the end. *Where e're we go, we celebrate The land that makes us refugees, From fear of priests with empty plates From guilt and weeping effigies.* --Shane MacClowan, "Thousands Are Sailing"

Golden elevators and not a *** to **** in
The lovely, amorous cherry blossom trees, Decked well in shades of pink and white, With clouds of boughs and blossoms rich, Clasped, rubbed, caressed and hugged And kissed on and on in warm embrace; And their bosoms heaved and breathed O2. Lovers came under the cherry blossom trees With hearts filled well with thoughts of love, In the shades of the boughs of pink blossoms, They kissed and blushed with words fervent, Danced in joy round the blossomed trees, And gasped in passion, and heaved out CO2. The gorgeous, loving trees stayed there long In vehement love, veneration and adoration, With the alluring charm of the passing blooms Painting again and again the fleeting lives. But choppers with axes sharpened were on To hack their pink xylems and phloems.
