My heart cried out as she did
And bled out when her teeth sank into her arm
Muffling her screams... This kid

Desperately searching for a key
I picked up my pink and fluffy, bite sized alpaca
And ran back to her side... I can not leave her be

Wrapped in the arms of a friend
Her eyes stared right into mine, almost pleading
I hand her the alpaca... Hoping her sadness will end

"Is this important to you?" "No"
With tremendous rage, she rips off it's tags, it's clothes, and it's chain
My heart sinks as my fluffy friend is torn apart... But these feelings I stow

Because when she asked, distraught
"Is this important to you?"
I immediately thought
*Yes... But not nearly as much as you.

Alpacas aren't llamas they say
Though they won't give details away
But I've got a hunch
So I'll-pack-a lunch
Head out for field research today
On a llama limerick kick lately

I'd like three cows
- maybe a bull;
couple of alpacas
- fer the wool.
a turtle,
a frog,
few pigs n a hog,
oh, - n a tortoise
n a porpoise
- the eggs
- which I'd flog
Butterflies and ladybugs,
Lily pads carrying frogs,

Water dragons and other reptiles,
***** cats and all kinds of dogs.

Wild horses and elephants,
Monkeys in the wild,

White doves and eagles -
She has adored wolves
since she was a small child.

Alpacas and llamas,
Whales that grace the magestic seas,

Seals and dolphins
in the big blue oceans -
Whenever she's lucky enough
To see some...
She feels so alive and free.

She adores
Animals in nature,
Her heart is captured
by all of them,

She believes that they each have
A precious soul
And a beautiful nature,
Even her noisy rooster
And her big fat hen!

What if alpacas are a hairy type of land fish?
If the moon is made of cheese does that mean space cows are really a thing?
Why do people say give things time when everything significant thing that happens does so in a moment?
What if the government assigned famous people before they were famous and that's why a lot aren't really talented?
Why do schools promote sleep and extracurriculars then give you so much homework you don't have time to do anything else?
Why does "I love you" not mean anything anymore?
Is it normal to ask so many questions?
Is normal even a thing?
Which religion is true and how do we know?
What if mentally ill people just see the world as it is and they're medication is just to keep a secret?
Who is actually reading all of this?
Why are we living if the world is just going to be engulfed by the sun's explosion or our own nuclear warfare?
Why do most girls sing breakup songs and most guys sing love songs?

Maybe
If I write you
Enough poems
And send you
Enough texts
About the stupid
Dreams I have
And send you
Enough pictures
Of alpacas and
My pets
If I let you
Know through
Online poems how
Much you really mean
You'll come
Back home
And call me
That night
And we can
Meet up at
A ****** movie
Theater
Watch that new
Horror movie
Walk down to
A park and sit
And talk about
Our lives
You can show me
Khoshekh and
I'll show you
My new bangs
I know that
Will never happen
But I'll still
Dream it anyways
I know I'll
Never love you
And I know I'll
Never see you
But the world is
Getting colder
My faith is
Slowly dying
But I'm not
Giving up on you
Like they
Gave up on me
Love
I'll keep on
Trying
Urgh.

I, too, lie below the mountain.
I nod my head to the alpacas,
And I bow to the mountains.
