a momentary distraction a brief respite from the pain a decision to last a lifetime and how it can never be the same so drown the day in darkness shut yourself inside the house and when it comes to call on you stay still, and quite as a mouse because hope is a waking dream and i'm too terrified to sleep no matter how bright the old lights shine they never give off any heat

Ageism.../
A farce melanin melancholic soul floating through a void of intertwined paragons. Trying to be a single entity and not being subdued by the stereotype that is ageism which is ingrained and embedded in the plethora of knowledge which is - the brain Trying to destroy this boundary in her psyche which has covertly limited her growth and expansion But this thought is slowly manifesting to those around her This retrospect thought will only spread through an act of malicious behavior which is inevitable and scornful

Help!
Can you really trust me Within this old dead skin Crow-eyed and wrinkled Hair graying thin Moving forward Ever nearing The wickedness   Of that bitter end... Is it casual or systematic When age becomes a sin?

AGEISM
poetry, only poetry is immune to the whole mozart gig, it's immune to the wizard kids, only poetry is immune to the age old ageism of being given a status genius so early on in life - i mean - what sort of feelings could little mozart have other than demonic mischief so early on in life? where was the emotional catastrophe? given a. he was a son of a musical composer, an b. he probably had a tiger mommy too - monkeys also learn to climb trees with as much prodigious ambition as an elder flute player giving instructions to his son* - less idealistic poets bite the shingles... if poetic genius is anything like that of musical genealogies... it's idealistic... but after keats, shelley or hart crane... it's still the same old cold grit regime of realism. *you have to attack the big boys...   it's synonymous with attacking snobbery   and the historical claustrophobia   of: only a few ******* were apparent, the rest   of us were statistics.

if mozart met hart crane
Children, fresh as bib lettuce, Green and tender, Stand before me in my rocking chair, Pearled new teeth, Wisping hair, golden, brown, Embarking up a stair way That I am going down. "Papa, can we go out to play?" I look out the window To see the kind of day Before I say, "Would you like to take a walk?"

I am afraid Afraid to grow old To have my hair turn white And my hands grow gnarled I am afraid Of time Shaping me Making me A different person Changing me I am afraid To forget The time Long gone I am afraid Of running Out of time -jt

Data What will happen to us all tomorrow? Now there are so many topics that are illegal and against the law. Things like racism, ageism, bullying and a thousand other things ending in ing and ism. But what about people being spied on by America? Even their friends and allies. Isn't that bad and illegal? Like social stereotyping by law enforcement using stop and search tactics on one racial group? How did we get into this position of spy agencies siphoning up all our data? Phone calls and records, emails and photo attachments. What next? We're all on CCTV. Next they'll want to know how much crap role we use.

Ageism
i don't know anything but i'm young i have an excuse you're older you say you know better but you know nothing what's your excuse? you say you know me better but if you really did then you'd never want to see me again see, i don't know anything because i'm young so just excuse all of the above i just told you my excuse or so everyone says when they justify what i do what other young people do then turn around and fault us for being young i don't know if i like it if i'm supposed to feel relieved or insulted sometimes both you see, there's the kind, comforting "you're young, you'll learn" the exasperated, tired-of-you "oh my god, you're young" the condescending, i-know-better-than-you "you're so young" the i-wish-i-was-you, "i can't believe how young you are" the unsolicited, let-me-give-you-some-advice "you're young right now" and then the hesitant, i'm-not-qualified-for-this-and-i'm-bullshitting "you're young...you know..." i might have missed some let me know i just know that ageism is a real plague to our society it's time things change Hahahaha I'm kidding. Maybe. Not really. Call me young. I am. There's nothing I can do about it. I'm going to stay young for as long as I am young. What good comes out of growing up too fast? So call me young. Until I'm not. I will use it as an excuse for as long as I can.

excuses
Ingmar Bergman scenes and Jewel’s poetic dreams figurative memes spilled like ashes across the page to be holy, unheavy, and alive is a granted feeling of being on high Like God, he told me, only words get washed away if not kept sacred Inside the blood and the host irrevocably so Whatever blindness calls itself There was nothing left to be said And so I dropped that filthy knife Hot with the stain erased spilling on its face cooled by a star I am not in the creator’s mind I found the him within me The ageism and the orientation of today’s world is met with chaos from the stories of so many... How do we move on from such loss? I don’t need new age *** or dates with the illusion of a soulmate that follow what the tarot’s say I need to make me happy today I lost someone, I lost something, and that is enough to feel it. We are not here to deny another’s pain Death’s foreshadowing pretenses could never prepare for a dream Filled with the hollowness of holiness and shallow breath Makes a night of manipulation evaporate A year later, I sang as I carried myself away I went the mile I walked to the depths 3 years later to the date April 20th The day I released all of the hurt I chained To my self worth as a bad dream As an epiphany of the love I wanted Like a little girl Lost and waiting on the front porch looking out towards the sky wondering when the truth of my own love would come Someday.. To lose hope in intervals treading for reciprocity was the garden gate I needed to find myself anew What I once feared was in me, was never in me and I yet the idea was at the same time Strong diligence makes the heart grow that much more aligned to what creates your will, your beautiful will; a peaceful manifesto of a great new world
