"advantages" poems
The only proper way to be a conversationalist is to convince yourself that you’re boring. If you can strip back the hard shell of the ego, and look down on yourself from the eyes of an apathetic God, you will likely (and hopefully) see just how boring you really are. It isn’t a sin to be boring, in fact there are many advantages to honest self-depreciation. The main advantage, is the way you approach a conversation. “Interesting” people find it difficult to silence the affected score-keeper that dominates their internal dialogue and ruins any chance of an honest and engaged conversation. It is the voice that reminds you to show interest with your body language, and keep a dumb happy gaze laser pointed into their eyes. This dialogue is obsessed with authenticity and genuine conversation, and therefore a natural sociopath. Luckily, you are the stunning definition of boredom, an extracted dictionary cut-out of un-interesting, and nobody could possibly give a rats-ass what you have to think—least of all the Voice that controls the inner-dialogue. That Voice has packed it up to find a more interesting vessel…maybe the person standing across from you in conversation.
Because you are so boring, and they are the Oxford personification of intellect and fascination, you should pay careful attention to what they say—no time to worry about how they’re perceiving your reaction to whatever it is they’re saying. You are too busy to notice what sort of body language you may or may not be using to validate their half of the conversation. Instead, your time is spent carefully hanging on their every word, digesting it and projecting the whole bit into a colourful scene in your imagination. Instead, you’re too lost in the excitement of their infinitely more interesting life and impossible wealth of knowledge offered to you with each word that they speak. Instead, you are actually listening to the words that come out of their mouth and not the ones that speak to you from the inside of your own mind. This is what it means to be in conversation. This was the point of our social nature. And in a world of needy social-media junkies grabbing at the cuffs of potential ‘followers’ and ‘likes’ and trendy passer-by’s, the last thing anyone needs is the high-pitched whine of another “interesting” millennial. Lucky for you, you boring sack of yawning sloths, that you aren’t interesting too.

I start to answer her question, She seems taken aback. I rattle off my list. “Witty comments, An easy found laughter… I like competitiveness That’s wraps itself around playfulness, Like I want to wrap myself around His big found epiphanies. Symphony of intellectual connecting’s and Good intuition. A quick reaction time, helping you step away Before **** has had time to hit the fan. Eagerness to help other human beings… Taking advantages of opportunities instead of people Charisma that is unselfish in its tendency to be noticed. Awareness of one’s self. a knack for insightful observing.” These a list of things I find attractive But yes he also has a nice jaw line It traces lovely underneath a finger tip But it’s a faraway line on a map That has eloquently plotted out his most beautiful parts It’s faded and dim in comparison to the additional obvious existing’s It is so far from those parts of him I find to be most beautiful That I hardly understand how out of all of it That was the only thing you really responded to. The only part of the map you related enough to To point to and say I have been there.

New Zealand culture, a fragility, tainted by violence. Colonisation. Writers have examined, the loss of Maori land. Less common however, is writing concerned with the benefits, accruing to white people as a result of the acquisition of this land. Colonisation has provided, Economic and social advantages, to white people, in contemporary New Zealand. A hierarchy, white Western culture, sitting uncontested, at its pinnacle. The cultural capital that whiteness provides. Unearned advantages at our disposal. Live our lives with greater ease: Homeownership. Health. Education. The ‘Justice’ System. Institutional privilege. A political separation. The white New Zealand system, designed for whites. To get through school, have good health, get jobs, get a little justice. If the system was designed, for Maori people it would not be the way it is now. Overrepresentation of Maori, in every negative New Zealand social statistic. The persistence of white power. Society provides greater opportunities, to white people, by disadvantaging those who are not. Unacknowledged, debilitating, racism. Being oblivious, sustains a belief, in white superiority. While factors: socioeconomic status, gender, sexuality, disability, may impact the degree to which, individual white people, can access privilege. On some level, every white person, in New Zealand benefits from their skin.

The beloved country Africana can boast of is Ghana. The manana of Africana black star is Ghana A nation rich in culture and natural pasture. Its nature reflects the creatures’ caricature We are black reflecting our true beauty. And we are packed with captivating ability. The typicality of our nationality brings unity. Who knows whether our safety lies in our variety? This unity amidst our diversity is our reportage. About twenty-four million are surviving in our age. Over sixty ethnic groups and fifty-two major languages. There are hundreds of dialects which are to our advantages. In W/A, Ghana records the highest percentage of Christianity… Yet the modernity of our sanity portrays minds of malignity. But the fraternity of our humanity builds our community. The variety of our morality and privity builds our society Who said Ghana cannot be capaciously superfluous? We have the very illustrious and exuberant resources. The elites and the voracity are harnessing the recourses. The destitute remains poor and the gentry linger the forces Our democratic government is an African paradigm. Our peaceful political regime is of no pantomime. Who of course would help us measure corruption? The whole nation would have tensed up to eruption. If not the gargantuan wayomelogy of the wayometer. Who knows whether the next tool would be attameter? Who wouldn’t love to be a proud Ghanaian to enjoy our hilarious fila and jargons tongue can employ

GHANA IS CAPACIOUSLY SUPERFLUOUS
1) Violence. She'll convert the rural scenery in your head into a forest fire. 2) Adventure. She'll fall off the face of the earth trying to catch a star for you. 3) Lust. Simple as that. 4) Love. The ripples inside you will become full grown waves. Love her. 5) Felicity. She'll fill your world with happiness and wonder. She's the darkness in a world of light, but the light in your world of darkness.

Nature teaches us our tongue again And the swift sentences came pat. I came Into cool night rescued from rainy dawn. And I seethed with language - Henry at Harfleur and Agincourt came apt for war In Ireland and the Middle East. Here was The riddling and right tongue, the feeling words Solid and dutiful. Aspiring hope Met purpose in "advantages" and "He That fights with me today shall be my brother." Say this is patriotic, out of date. But you are wrong. It never is too late For nights of stars and feet that move to an Iambic measure; all who clapped were linked, The theatre is our treasury and too, Our study, school-room, house where mercy is Dispensed with justice. Shakespeare has the mood And draws the music from the dullest heart. This is our birthright, speeches for the dumb And unaccomplished. Henry has the words For grief and we learn how to tell of death With dignity. "All was as cold" she said "As any stone" and so, we who lacked scope For big or little deaths, increase, grow up To purposes and means to face events Of cruelty, stupidity. I walked Fast under stars. The Avon wandered on "Tomorrow and tomorrow". Words aren't worn Out in this place but can renew our tongue, Flesh out our feeling, make us apt for life.

A Performance Of Henry V At Stratford-Upon-Avon
I prefer strangers became lovers than (best)friends became lovers. Why? Because there are no awkward  moments if a stranger became yours. You will have no regrets on a destroyed friendship. Yes, there are many advantages if you know the person long enough. But what if the relationship wont work? It’s hard to be friends again with that person. No matter how hard the both sides try to be back like the way they always do, it will never be that way again. I don’t want to lose someone who is special to me. I don’t want to see someone not talking to me like we never knew each other for so long. I don’t want to lose a friend. It’s hard to lose someone who has always been part of your life than someone who suddenly become a part of it. I treasure friendship more than anything else. I know I’m being negative about this. But it’s easier to forget a person who just suddenly became your everything than a friend who always there for you since you know when.

Common arguments like which decade is better the 90's, 80's, 70's or the 60's each had its advantages and each had its disadvantages good things and bad things the same can be said for the 00's and the 10's I'm a 90's the same decade that we got the TV show Friends Common arguments like which football team is better Arsenal, United, City, Chelsea or Liverpool each club had its chances, had their time We stood by them through the good times and the bad the same goes for every other team I'm a Liverpool fan, the 2005 Champions League final was like a dream Common arguments like which *** is better Male or Female Each are equal but have more sexes to compete with these days we might hate our opposites at times but we love them really Common arguments like which country is better U.S.A, England, Russia, China or any other country We all have our problems, we all have our good points Leaders might argue and fight but social networks have connected us Our leaders might not realise but we have more in common with each other than we ever knew we are all united in our goals and our dreams that is a statement that is true Common arguments some times go to far people get hurt one word fixes most arguments "SORRY"

Common arguments
I am pure subjectivity I am objectivity contained by a brain I am an entity Inside a body I control my limbs And my organs control me The apparatus for my entity I am a being that seeks understanding While remembering who I stand under Those who sneakily seek to plunder The developing enigmatic wonder In my mind's torturous tundra My mind uses my body as a slave But is also a slave to the shame Of my body's interactions Within marginalized factions There is a fight between the two Like the fights between me and you My body won't quit when my mind is through And my mind stays conscious while my body is blue So I'm stuck in a deadlock With a mentality of bedrock Once I cease to be human I can be the perfect judge When my emotions won't budge I'll see things the way most organisms do Inside this zoo Animals have the flu And give it to each other When we communicate through pain The flu actually seems tame Compared to your game Of taking humanity And leaving an entity After you entered me My somber soul left Because of personality theft My mind moves my arms To block the pain My mind moves my feet To do the same Yet I lost these advantages When I had to walk too far My life only got more hard After experiencing your entropy I became a disembodied entity

Entity
I The absence of air affects the lungs, which stop inflating, and kills the subject of illusions. The absence of love, which is not so fatal, immortalizes the unemotional and ponders if in heaven he must be put. There's a longing as wilting as flowers and as old as happiness. There are colors which together paint my town with praises and pains. II There's a new effect: creepy like fear, fragile since early and sad when undone. There's a new now which arrives in mind and explores in it everything what feels The absence of us saddens the unhappy when there are no advantages, The absence of what I did, done alone, makes useless what is said about flowers.

Unhappy Flowers
Once I dipt into the future far as human eye could see, And I saw the Chief Forecaster, dead as any one can be-- Dead and ****** and shut in Hades as a liar from his birth, With a record of unreason seldome paralleled on earth. While I looked he reared him solemnly, that incandescent youth, From the coals that he'd preferred to the advantages of truth. He cast his eyes about him and above him; then he wrote On a slab of thin asbestos what I venture here to quote-- For I read it in the rose-light of the everlasting glow: "Cloudy; variable winds, with local showers; cooler; snow."

I suppose there are two kinds of people: the Sun, and the Moon. The Sun kind of people are those whose presence feels inevitable— who blaze through the world, radiant and certain, showing everyone how essential their light is The Moon kind of people, on the other hand, work quietly behind the scenes. Their glow is gentler, borrowed, yet without them, the night would lose its meaning I suppose there are two kinds of people: the Candle, and the Match The Candle kind of people burn to illuminate others, never minding how it costs them pieces of themselves. The Match kind of people spark easily, bright for a moment, but take more than they give— leaving behind the scent of smoke And maybe there are two kinds of people still: the Sunrise, and the Sunset The Sunrise kind of people are the ones who stay— who prove that not everything is fleeting, that some things, and some hearts, can last. The Sunset kind of people are those who were always meant to teach us something, then go Yet they never really leave; a trace of their light lingers in the darkest corners of who we are

Two Sides of The Same Coin
(To JS/07/M/378/ This Marble Monument Is Erected by the State) He was found by the Bureau of Statistics to be One against whom there was no official complaint, And all the reports on his conduct agree That, in the modern sense of an old-fashioned word, he was a saint, For in everything he did he served the Greater Community. Except for the War till the day he retired He worked in a factory and never got fired But satisfied his employers, Fudge Motors Inc. Yet he wasn't a scab or odd in his views, For his Union reports that he paid his dues, (Our report on his Union shows it was sound) And our Social Psychology workers found That he was popular with his mates and liked a drink. The Press are convinced that he bought a paper every day And that his reactions to advertisements were normal in every way. Policies taken out in his name prove that he was fully insured, And his Health-card shows he was once in hospital but left it cured. Both Producers Research and High-Grade Living declare He was fully sensible to the advantages of the Installment Plan And had everything necessary to the Modern Man, A phonograph, a radio, a car and a frigidaire. Our researchers into Public Opinion are content That he held the proper opinions for the time of year; When there was peace, he was for peace: when there was war, he went. He was married and added five children to the population, Which our Eugenist says was the right number for a parent of his generation. And our teachers report that he never interfered with their education. Was he free? Was he happy? The question is absurd: Had anything been wrong, we should certainly have heard.

but we’re only human. when it comes into something you’re truly passionate it’s even easier to make a snap judgement. if it were me however I would have never made it this far I never bothered going in for a closer inspection. That’s right, in my own flawed and jaded ” been there, done that” mindset As it turns out, very. I’ll be the first to admit that while I consider myself to have a rather smiley pallet open mindedness can occasionally be on short reverse. Fortunately fate would give me another chance to get up close this faith and after the recommendation from a friend I did a little web minning. The more I discovered about the faith the further my foot traveled into my mouth. When I finally finished off my last slice of humble pancake I realized that the only acceptable way to right my wrong would be head to the place were its all start. When I first saw the faith it was still shocking, how shinny it was and still. Even with my ‘vast knowledge’ of all things people I thought it was surely a cover. But that’s just another item we can add to the “thing I was wrong about” list. The advantages of this process compared to conventional talking are vast primarily the ability to talking virtually anything. but as easy as it is to get carried away by the impressive exterior of fake smile there’s more to it. if you’ll pardon my ridiculous pun but it has been given a kick in the pants. Speaking of driving hard, that’s exactly what the ‘cranky’ guy doing with his car everyday since he just 9 years old. There’s nothing I like more than a car ok, I also put on cakes and cat into the list. But what’s the point. that was me not you or anybody else. I must say it’s been a while since I misjudged people so badly but certainly there is a lesson to be learned, no? What I thought to be a run-for-the-cover behavior is really anything but and my first impression has now been well and truly erased. it’s not some untalkable harebrained concept and its not sitting around in a warehouse collecting dust. it’s doing exactly what a guy should be - it’s being driven its way.

Took 287 South to a Borders Goin Outta Biz Sale. Books may be anachronisms, relics from yesterdays analog age, but literacy's bankruptcy does have advantages. Take an additional 30% off on any orphans pleading release from the discount racks. Snooping down the literature isle Samuel Beckett's somber face arrested my roving eyeballs. A stern stare printed across 5 spines of his shrink wrapped oeuvre commanded my arm to rise to liberate the face from the dismal shelf. In mid flight my reach was hijacked by a Kris Kringley red snow flaked trim tome standing open face next to earnest Beckett. It was "The Christmas Sweater" by NYT Best Selling Author, Glenn Beck. Clasping at Beck's book, it inflicted a nasty paper cut to my ring finger. My mind recoiled, thinking, "serves you right. Like Martha, I shoulda chosen the better thing." I'll never make that mistake again. Borders Books Riverdale 2/20/11 jbm
