Within and in between a dusty red brick chimney, and a tired aging oak, do advance the clouds of brilliant ember, cascading over one another, eager to wash the field of azure while a gentle roll of thunder bids goodnight from afar. How we wish that the weary hourglass would squeeze each grain, so that raindrops -- having just settled among emerald blades -- would glisten for a lifetime, while the world remain bathed in a candle-lit hue.

Dear Future Wife, I know that it wasn’t easy going through the tides of life. It will never be easy. You might find yourself looking for someone who would fulfil the emptiness that you would feel inside. It is my strongest hope that you won’t entertain anyone who would try to take your heart. I would like you to focus on your studies at this point. I know that studying could sometimes be boring or somewhat hard, but I trust you with this one. You can do it. I’m writing this letter for a purpose. I would like to tell you some things before I marry you or before you become my girlfriend or even before I meet you. I would like to start this message by thanking you in advance. Thank you for choosing me out of the billions of men who are better and more handsome than me. I know that I never deserved somebody like you, and it’s kind of unfair for me because when we would be together, I know that we would look like beauty and the beast. You’d be beauty and I’d be beast. Thank you for the patience that you will have with me for the next 10 to 70 years. I appreciate how you would make me smile and laugh and even cry at times. It wouldn’t be hard to be with me, because I beat a girl in terms of emotions. Thank you for being faithful with me. I just want you to know that I would not look for anyone else but you. You’re the one I am praying for every night before I go to sleep and every morning before you get up from bed. It may not be my season yet to be in love. I promise you that I will wait. I will not rush anything with you. Forgive me if I wouldn’t give you flowers and chocolates for valentines while we are still students. I promise you that I will give you something more than that at the right time. I would reserve my hands for you, you and my mother will be the only women who would be able to grasp my very hands while walking. I would reserve myself for you. There would be lots of temptations, but beloved, I promise you that the only one who would control our relationship is God. It would not be easy being with me. It will never be. But I thank you for choosing me. Forgive me if I can’t be as handsome as the celebrities you watch in movies. I may not be handsome, but I promise to love you with all I am until my final breath. I’m Excited I’m excited to be your boyfriend and experience butterflies in my stomach whenever I’m with you. I’m excited to give you gifts every occasion. I’m excited to text you the words “I love you” every morning. I’m excited to see you walking on the altar. I’m excited to hear the words “You may kiss the bride” I’m excited to be your husband. I’m excited to forestall you in waking up just to cook for you. I’m excited to have dogs (we’ll name them Bacon and Goya) I’m excited to start a family with you. I’m excited to roam the world with you. But while our story is not yet clashing to each other in His book, my excitement would not stop me from waiting. I will wait for you. I promise. I love you. Your Future Husband

SONNET TRIBUTE SUNDRY: JAN SANTINO C. MANDREZA - MINECRAFT
I will be here through the night, Until the moon sinks, seeking rest beneath a cool dark shade, The life which grows from light, is slumbering tight under a wonderful cover, the flowers have closed, awaiting another day, But I cannot rest, for time has become endless for me, I can't set. Why is it now that no one will hear my call, reflected in moonlight, Why is it now that I feel so alive, even though I'm already long dead ? First days, then months and finally years, pass, fall one by one, only a dim memory remains, what's left is a given; knowledge, of course. Longing for the meaning of life, the fate was already determined, Chains which bind me to make me carry on with my mission, In a distorted dark sound melts into silence, losing it's colour, Darkness in life and death carried by a curse of greed made me fear the coming day, sunlight, it burns, it hurts, I'll nevr be blessed by it, The taste of blood on my fangs, sorrowful but also filled with hope, make me remember what it must be like to be a human, to be normal, Even this scattered instant of a moment possesses unshakable love, Ablaze, drawn out here in this holy world undear the nightsky, Unable to advance or return, is there sense to believe in the future? To face the dark clouds is the golden rule, so I don't give up, This endless battle always was so meaningless, I forgot how it started, The meaning of life...even it it remains unknown for me, like you it must exist and is that not very beautiful in its very own way ? Darling, if I should perish by the morninglight, sing me a lullaby! A lullaby for a vampire ~ Umi

it's cold and dark and calm outside so you make sure that i'm tucked up tight but i need fresh air so the window is open ajar whilst there in the corner lays a battered guitar i'm high as hell so you carried me home and wrapped me up into a bed of your own you throw a lumpy mattress by the guitar on your floor and apologise in advance for the fact that you snore because i can't even remember my name may give the green light to most, to see me as 'fair game' my hair is a mess and my clothes are askew but that doesn't seem to matter to you i'm taken aback as you toss me a shirt you try to stifle your laugh but i catch you smirk as i try to escape from the clutch of my dress i hear a laugh which you fail to suppress i wrestle your shirt with my limbs in a tangle you yank it over my head, for which i am thankful i wriggle free from the blanket and sit up cross legged as you fling yourself down at the foot of your bed you tell me you've just got a text from my mother who says she trusts me with you and no other and that you are under very strict instructions to keep me away from all teenage destruction it's 1.30am and my thoughts are cotton wool but our bottle of ***** is still three quarters full my eyes spy the battered guitar in the room and i beg you to play me my favourite tune an undeniably slow start as you mess up the chords and ramble on about how i'm probably bored but my eyes fix on yours with an encouraging grin and as you continue to play, goosebumps rise on my skin and as you place the battered guitar back down you sarcastically ask whether i'm happy now the buzz of my body and the smile on my face shows that here, happiness is truly the case

From Blank to Blank
This is hellopoetry I do not dwell on Hurtful comments Or negativity The insanity of the way Humans marginalize And hate others Without reasons Without merits Is like knives in my heart All I see is beauty everywhere Every human on earth Is a universe in their own right A manifestation of uniqueness That can never again replicated I’m here to write and share my thoughts With those who cares for it Give the world a snapshot Of my soul and it’s principles My dream my pain my emotion my humanity If negativity is where you dwell I implore you stay out of my inbox Highly recommend you read Motivating things Or maybe listens to songs That would cheer you up I learned most storms Don’t come to disrupt Your life rather to clear your path The challenges equip you With the necessary weapons And tools you need to Spiritually advance Therefore I’m stepping Into your hatred challenge With confidence and much More wisdom than I had. Don’t let hatred dwell In your mind and heart For I have nothing but Love for you my brother If you had my life You would understand!

The irony of mankind, They maketh technology to better their lives And yet, Their technology Is ruining their lives.... The irony... As tis they couldst use that wired technology for healing They use it for bombing and killing.. As tis they couldst use it for connecting The fact is They've all gone unconnected!!!!!! Hiding behind some screen, Forgetting what an old fashioned phone call is..... Connection, man thought this technological advance wouldst do. Disconnection is what is hast really brought them...... New Orleans has its Oaks, the most beautiful in the world The Oaks they had an occupant, little squawky squirrel Squawky squirrel stepped out one day, cross the street he made his way And if he hadn’t changed his mind, he’d still be here today The widow sweet Ms. Peters, did receive a call From a handsome gentleman, who went by the name of Paul Ms. Peters had been interested, in Paul’s cautious advance But decided she would wait a while, not to take a chance Now Paul has found his one and only Ms. Peters spends her nights quite lonely Oh yes the case of the pretty pilot Just seventeen in a flying machine The weather turned black so she headed back But her boyfriend intervened Now close if I may - here's what I say Trust yourself - the odds break your way

The Often Disastrous Result of Changing Your Mind
A view just before sunrise Resembles like a sunset But the difference is vast As it is fills with a hope of rays A view just before sunrise Is well felt deep inside When it starts to gleam With its sun rays A view just before sunrise Is a blooming sun of rays Which fill with bright lights And make beautiful sights A view just before sunrise Is a view of hopes Excited in full of vibes With its vibrant colours A view just before sunrise Is a one more chance Given to know the worth of lives To live with full of senses A view just before sunrise Is to be grateful to God’s grace To be a part of living miracles Especially in this competitive eras A view just before sunrise Is enjoyed well when it rises And when it rise to its bests It seems as smiling at us A view just before sunrise Is a smiley face of sun As of a blooming sunflower’s With its joyful pleasures A view just before sunrise Is the waiting periods To see the rising queen Reflecting as golden eyes A view just before sunrise Is hope of new days In its blessed paces For every faces A view just before sunrise Helps to plan in advance To utilise the opportunities With its best ways A view just before sunrise May bless us to rise With its immense cheers So all can have its leisures A view just before sunrise Is the stipulated time frames To harvest the best nuts From the life’s tests A view just before sunrise Is to raise yourselves To shine as jewel stones As a sun in yourselves A view just before sunrise Is to enjoy the glory of living vibes To make best diamond from coals So that it lustre in darks A view just before sunrise In nutshell, is a glorious shine As a diamond kept in caves To brighten the path of ways

so like i know this isn't the classiest way of doing things and i apologize in advance for posting my proposal on the bulletin board of this skeezy coffee shop - no offense to the owners please don't throw this letter away - but last week you stole my bike it was a great one not shiny or fancy or anything, but it worked well for me worked for the past four years and the twenty years before that when it was still my dad's and he rode it to the post office every day to help letters get where they belong (maybe letters like this one, isn't that romantic maybe he's guiding this thanks dad, you're the best) and passed it on when his knees froze up and i rode it to this skeezy coffee shop every day - sorry to the owners (again) but i buy your ****** lattes every day least you can do is let me propose - but then last week i left it outside and didn't lock it (fate, see) and you stole my bike i think you were probably walking by - maybe about to come get a ****** latte from this skeezy coffee shop (sorry) but then something caught your eye i think you saw all the emotion invested in my bike. two decades of getting letters where they belong. four years of ****** lattes. and well who can resist so much meaning spread out in the open for anyone to take? and i mean since you saw it there, didn't just say 'oh' 'a bike' like everyone else, you were probably meant to have it. it's a piece of my heart (the bike i mean) and now you have it or maybe you just liked the color and like i do too green is a great color i like green you like green you wanna go out sometime we could go on a bike ride except you stole my bike anyway i don't think the bulletins are supposed to be this long but it's an important one so maybe it's okay this time so if you see someone with an old green bike tell them i'm in the skeezy coffee shop i'm the one drinking the ****** latte and holding a jewelry box

Twenty-four years remind the tears of my eyes. (Bury the dead for fear that they walk to the grave in labour.) In the groin of the natural doorway I crouched like a tailor Sewing a shroud for a journey By the light of the meat-eating sun. Dressed to die, the sensual strut begun, With my red veins full of money, In the final direction of the elementary town I advance as long as forever is.

Twenty-Four Years
Which algorithm is going to understand me understand sentiment behind what I do It is coded for catching the patterns For them we are just there to generate the data to process What insights will they create about me when I'm just the outlier they will remove me to get cleaner results Generalise the problem that it won't cater to me technology is not the slave they make us dance to their tune We change, as much as they advance Develop worse habits change our routines from when we were in the more happier place to a place which comes with waves of sadness.

Derartu, Haile, Tirunesh Kenenisa, Meseret, and all With a similar footfall! Displaying a superb Long-distance athletic feat When many superstars Awe inspiringly you beat And as a result of it When your sought-for Fought-for And nation- prayed-for Dream proves a hit And also with kudos A stadium full of people opt You to greet And when spectators Accord you a high five It is for your country's  flag You  immediately dive! Also on the podium while Ethiopia's row-wise Green,Yellow and Red Emblazoned flag, Shoulder high, Soars above You express Your  umbilical cord-tight National love With tears that Trickle down each of Your cheek, quick. Is it because Reminiscent of Each living hero With a life sacrifice That brought colonial Aggression to zero? Is it because The bounty of the land You grew up Seeing first hand? Is it because The cherished corner You cut in the heart of The poor but prideful Ethiopian neighbour? Is it because The unity in diversity That showcases Ethiopia's identity Or citizens hospitality? Is it because At heart strings a tug Or ,among others Gratefulness to Your iron-strong lung When you hear Ethiopian anthem sung? Is it because a secret another Deep down you harbour? Is it because the Fertility Hope and Sovereignty ideals The flag advance, Also Ethiopia's being A beacon of independence What is more The nation's renaissance Which in a curtain of mist Before your eyes dance?

Today's My Birthday
Staring across the bar, it was love at first sight - eyes so wide- I think I gave her a fright She thought it was a *** look thought she could read me like a textbook wary of my advance refusing me a chance avoiding my glance I put down my glass and, in a stance weakened by my lovestruck trance, simply asked for a dance

FLAMINGO’S SIGHTINGS
I've been at hundreds of funerals Standing beside Fathers Soon to be posted to Peru Or to missions for black African babies. They'd sprinkle caskets like Spring rains, Burn incense to smudge the dead With rising smoke signals. Sounding the advance. I witnessed pain in the front pews, The kneelers with thin cushioning. I prayed fervently for a whosh of wind To sweep behind me, Billow my soutane,   And lift the lid; Prayed for the candle flame to flare, For the body to rise As Rathgar did. He was a faker. Not like what I saw. Up close. On Friday mornings.

Viking Grave
Sleep, dearest creature of the night, you who adores the shining moon, I said to myself as the music began to echo through the room A nyctophile blood ******* devil, gifted black demonic wings alike a bat when it flies, strengh beyond reason and a tongue full of sick lies, Yet a ray of sun may be lethal to you, burning you away as if you were paper caught in a firestorm, an inferno of heat, vaporized at last, Life force relies in blood, impurities of constant change I need since I have already passed away theoretically I am most likely already dead A music box plays for me alone, transient melodies from the recurring memories of a brighter, vivid past, to which I am are unable to return to, Ahh, phantoms, a nuisance of the mortal life I have escaped alike the shooting stars over a clear, living, traveling, dark blue night sky Have I toiled well, hard or long to achieve heaven, yet have become stuck as the devils tool in a illusionary world with no end ? Flowing water seals me away, I cannot cross when it rains, and need a polite, kind invitement to intrude and cause wicked bloodshed Sleep, so I may can be innocent until the sun has sunken down to rest, Slumber,  the world of dreams is free from weaknesses to purification, With great magic, comes a devils recitation, engaging in a distant dream far beyond the grasp of my crimson, blood drenched hands, Unable to advance,  shadows of those who have forgotten the fear of darkness spread and creep around, hidden in nights embrace Empty consciousness I am attracted like a fluttering butterfly to the gentle reflected light by the full moon in its fullest sensation, Raise this song of love and paint it in a moonlit night for me, Dance with me, until we aren't part of this world any longer, dear, Sounds melt into silence, structure forms within chains of destiny, Even if tomorrow were never to come, I couldn't care less, For now, just let me rest my eyes ~ Umi
