Poetry.
A form of catharsis used to
Subtly touch
Violently choke
Mentally ****

Words that cut so deep making the heartless feel
Words screaming with emotions leaving you paralyzed
Words gracefully gliding down the side of your cheek forcing you to smile
Captured in whatever trap the poet wants you in; victimized

Feeding into every word of the poet so easily
Thriving off the beauty that is poetry
Until you’re shouting

Take me!
The art of poetry now flows thorough my body
Becoming intertwined in their words
I absolutely LOVE poetry

She can't deny herself any more.

She wants more than anything

to eat the heartshaped petals on the side

and swallow her liability. It's dangerous

grinding her secret garden between her teeth. Who could understand

that she covets a beautiful flower, but it's her fault she feels this way;

she compares herself to a sweet orange

when she is like a sour lemon. And then there's a dandelion.

She takes those too, to carry with her prayers

and roses. She dreams flowers will blossom

like goosebumps on her skin. She's anxious

to wear her hair down like grapevines. She feeds her

dreams to the ravens. We treat her with love

and write songs about her.

She felt it, something so beautiful growing in her stomach it ached.

Erase those lines

erase this praise of empty phrases

an empty phrase itself as such

and as much as the poet hates to say

that his own work constitutes not

of substance

so does this writer here refuse

to go back to the start

and to reduce this piece

to shapes in black and white

to heartshaped shapes

without a heart

Erase those lines

There was a walk I took
When I was younger,
And love held my hand.
Crossing the Pyrenees barefoot and carefree,
I felt everything.
But your eyes were empty.

I remember when the rain came.
All the pain I carried,
Fell away behind me.
My footprints heartshaped in the mud,
Soaking deep into my soul.
You walked without a trace.

Something told me this was it.
I had dreams
Wider than the sky.
And you closed your heart
To all my love.
While I tried to fly,
You kept walking.
You kept walking;
That's all you could do.

So, oh I took that flight across the seven seas.
Hungry,  I ate the world up.
I took my love with me.
You kept walking.
You kept walking.
That's all you knew how to do.

A journey into the light and darkness.
And I'm just beginning, baby.
Somewhere out there
I'll live my dreams.

Life is not mechanical it's fluid,
I used to regulate my perception of
reality of my heartbeat
to the second but failing to see how
one
second flows
into another
and one heartbeat bleeds
lovingly into the next.
I hear Voices soothing my sou.
I am writhing in white and
you are watching
beckoning me
into the real world and
out
real from real
Crimson from Vermillion
a tarred but
unfeathered tree
bends against its back from the world in
It's face as I see you
naked
in my mind
I undress.
I caress you
as my fingers run through
your hair
I kiss you
softly down each chakra
my god!
your face is heartshaped but also
long
slender as your waist
fit
and fresh for not so long I
heave
and inhale you
but only in my mind.

Love battles on
The wagers of love wreak havock
Senseless emotions bend us to break
Only to Catch eachother before the fall
Hope fades as fast as it lights the way
Fumbling through love scapes as if some great adventure will call forth in climbing to the pinnacle of the mountain of love only to jump off like lemmings holding heartshaped balloons as if its enough...

Its that time of year again when the fires rage
for romantic nights and warm sensations wrapping
around you like a mink blanket. The candles
flicker a heartshaped flame and the table embroidery
clean and white like our new beginnings.

I just want to to hold your hand and read your eyes
glow in its sparkle and soak in its warmth.
What more can I ask for?

As Valentines Day counts down to its private
messages,  I like
to start my own message build up
for that special day when our bodies and souls
will melt into moments of complete
splendour.

We are one already.
Heres a dozen rose kisses to confirm it!

A toad the power mower caught,
Chewed and clipped of a leg, with a hobbling hop has got
To the garden verge, and sanctuaried him
Under the cineraria leaves, in the shade
Of the ashen and heartshaped leaves, in a dim,
          Low, and a final glade.

       The rare original heartsblood goes,
Spends in the earthen hide, in the folds and wizenings, flows
In the gutters of the banked and staring eyes. He lies
As still as if he would return to stone,
        And soundlessly attending, dies
           Toward some deep monotone,

       Toward misted and ebullient seas
And cooling shores, toward lost Amphibia's emperies.
Day dwindles, drowning and at length is gone
In the wide and antique eyes, which still appear
To watch, across the castrate lawn,
            The haggard daylight steer.

This world is on fire,
And I  know love is a liar
With a snake as  its tongue
In a big heartshaped mouth

Unblessed like the rain
I'll hang you in the noose
I made for myself¨
That filthy normal day
Where you looked the other way

People of the earth,
Here you are forever
Future is next
Moral's the guest
Inside your brain
Pain, tearing bricks apart
Oh, I don't want to hear about you heart

The stars shined bright
That filthy normal night
The werewolf howled again
Next comes the rain

Full moon shining at the well
Lunar ticks, tick, tick.
Forever is the farewell
Feel free to drown
All the flowers in the garden
Mournful is the day
She screamed all the way down
LOVE is short for Lies Of Vicious Elegance
