rain
"Limousine Eyelash
Oh, baby with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes
See what you mean to me
Sweet cakes and milkshakes
I am a delusion angel
I am a fantasy parade
I want you to know what I think
Don’t want you to guess anymore
You have no idea where I came from
We have no idea where we’re going
Lodged in life
Like two branches in a river
Flowing downstream
Caught in the current
I’ll carry you, you’ll carry me
That’s how it could be
Don’t you know me?
Don’t you know me by now?"

                                                                               - From 'Before Sunrise'
This poem from the movie 'Before Sunrise'- I can never get enough of this perfection.
As abstract as it is, it holds all the more meaning and depth to it.

I just feel that it is worth sharing, hence.

Lost Girl
I am a warrior.
Stronger than her demons.
Braver than the darkness.

I am my worst captive
A prisoner of my own kind
Nothing brings me down faster than my own mind
I am my worst enemy
Love then hate myself you see...
I don't care to be me
But being me will never set me free
I am stubborn in my own beliefs
I bend my knees for no one and in time you'll see...
That the biggest battle and wars that I fight are all amongst MYSELF,
THATS RIGHT.

moonlight
seeping through the curtains
casting shadows
onto our entwined bodies.
feeling your hands in my hair
and our love in the silence.
forever will never be long enough,
here with you
I was there
staring at that cold wall
hoping that I
could have knocked it down
I could have reached you
touched you
felt your scarred skin
breathed your familiar scent
I could have sunk
in your astonishing silence
but this wall devide our souls

I’m going to plaster my words on the walls of life
Like paper
That way you cannot avoid me
Or the memory of mine

Just as a heart will not be cheap
Or doted upon everywhere
Or rolled out with ease

But plastered meticulously
That’s me
Rolled Out
She's silenced, in a shell of her former self
She's told to remain silent that her words are too sharp,
What if they can groom life itself...
Poetry is a writer's truth seen and expressed with passion.
