i thought i had amnesia  when i tried to sleep
i was very tired and tried to count some sheep
but i kept losing count after nine and ten
back to the start i went and tried counting once again
now it was getting worse i only got to four
then i tried again to count them all once more
my amnesia it was worse i couldnt count my sheep
though i was very tired i forgot to go to sleep

ants of lots of  soldiers with armies by the score
running around the garden all along the floor
they are very clever and work the whole day long
sticking close together as they march along
they are very tiny with intelligence so fine
forming in to armies standing in a line
living under stones where they make there home
filled with little tunnels where they freely roam
though there only small there so wonderful to see
no wars  do they fight an army that is free.

when you find love you will know
in your heart you feel a glow
if its true your heart will pound
then for love you are bound
you get a feeling  oh so bright
telling you that love is right
you can feel it telling you
the love you have is very true
when your in love you will know
and your heart will tell you so.

underneath the moon is where i long to be
looking at the stars looking back at me
looking at the waves jumping oh so high
standing out so brightly underneath the sky
strolling on the sand as soft as it can be
strolling very peaceful looking out to sea
everything is quiet so tranquil and so calm
a place i long to be thats so full of charm.

i had a pet canary he would sing all day
up down his ladder how he love to play
he was very happy as happy as can be
when is cage was open he would come to me
sit upon my shoulder and sing in to my ear
with is lovely song so very loud and clear
he sat there a while in his feathered coat
singing oh so beautiful and hitting every note
when he finished singing it gave my heart a glow
it was time to eat so in his cage he;d go.

soon it will be mothers day to say your thanks in a special way
to thank her for just being there to give her love to show you care
to tell her that you love her so. and give her day a lovely glow
shes always there when things go wrong to comfort you and keep you strong
always there just for you. with her mothers love so loyal and true
so thank her in special way and send your love on mothers day

there was an easter chick as yellow as the sun
he was very happy having lots of fun
hopping up and down  with his easter song
singing on his way as he hops along
such a friendly fellow a joyful chap is he
making easter happy the way that it should be
so make your easter happy that will do the trick
eat all your  chocolate eggs and think about the chick
