From memory your hair, so lively and bold,
Now stiff to a point, now dreadfully cold.
Your mouth would outstretch, the bounds of delight,
Now hidden behind gates, now withdrawn from the light.

A lumbering silence patrolled through the room,
We stood and we stared, waiting for time to resume,
A hole in my heart, nobody could fill,
in foreseeable years, this hole remains still.

Open your eyes,
To the sighs and the cries,
That underlies your demise,
I can't take it.
From years ago...

Without agony
What is pleasure
Without despair
Hope has no measure

Where enlightened
Was void
And frightened
Became joy
No loss can be felt
If no love has been dealt
You may doubt...

Think back to a time
To a happier scene
Your pinnacle shadows
What could be serene

Scaling from experience
Encourages ignorance
With agony, comes pleasure
With despair, hope is measured
With balance you will find
A healthy state of mind
Take your time...
Food for thought

This very day exists for you,
No other
Meticulously planned,
Means more
Order to chaos, from us,
To you
Nobody understands it better,
Than you.
