The dirt shifts under me,
My head laying back into the soft ground.
Situated on a small patch of brown,
Isolated from the world of flowers surrounding me.

It’s dark where I lay,
From here I can see the moon.
Bright and colourful resides outside of my patch,
Despite the trees in the suns wake.

I lift my arm to the sky,
Reaching for the moon.
A tattoo across my wrist formed by a fine blade,
reveals a sea of red from my outstretched palm.

My vision blurs and the world hazes,
I reach to pull the moon away and reveal the sun.
But the thatch work above me holts my progress,
Beneath it I am never to see the sky.

I long to breach this sky of branches...
Back at it again with another Depresso Poem, I promise I’ll write a happier one next time ;)

This is simply the story of a person who wants to beat their weaknesses to become happy, but feel they are unable to do so.

I wish you love for there's no better thing that I'm able to do
May the sun always shine upon you when you're feeling blue

If your eyes fall upon these words then they are meant for you
I wish you a lifetime of happiness, hoping your dreams come true

Praying that any dismal clouds of sorrow will swiftly drift on by
May peace arise from within to wipe away any tear you may cry

Flowers are tumbling from the skies, songbirds joyously fly free
Singing 'let's bridge the gap, in reality, there is no 'you' and 'me'

Thank you for your posies, more than just words upon the page
We all play our little part wearing the persona, life is but a stage...
May God shower untold blessings upon you all...

All my love and best wishes...Kim x

God Bless you us all

Thank you for all you have shared, I love you all...

Now I sit and hesitate,
Shall I **** or *******?
Myself- 2018
The fluorescent lights draw me in, A sea of wonder that captures the crowds gaze,
The world seems so bright in otherwise dark times.
In our day to day lives we all make mistakes,
It’s part of human nature to learn from experience.

But unless we are able to give and receive criticism, to help each other to succeed,
How can we ever hope to get better?

As a society, we priorotize those who fail in an attempt to demoralize,
And the more we idiolize these actions, we find ourselves drifting apart.

All I am trying to say is that we should be able to criticize, and receive such openly,
So that as a group and individuals, we may learn and grow healthilly.
I saw a comment on someone’s poem the other day that didn’t try to help the writer, but instead attempted to make them feel stupid for their mistakes.
Just thought I’d write something to shed some light in the subject.
It’s been a long, long time since I’ve seen your face.

It’s been a long, long time from when you last held me close.

It’s been a long, long time
Since I last heard your voice.

I miss you, and I feel it will be a long, long time until I’m able to forget you.
The boiling water
Sloshes around
In the mug,

Dissolving the coffee
grains into a
Pool of liquid luxury.

As the mug touches my lips,
Letting the bitter sweet
Coffee trickle into my mouth,

I remember how good,
Despite my problems,
I really have it in life.
It’s important to remember the little things in life.
The rain taps on my window,
As the light from the tablet shines on my face, I stare into the dark recesses of my room.

The rain taps on my window,
My mind drifts off, and in that time, I wish that you were here with me.

The only company I have with me tonight, to remind that I am not alone,
Is the rain that’s tapping on my window.
How is it the world can carry on its day, despite not knowing what’s coming it’s way?
I sit at the edge of my bed, with my arms wrapped around my head, wondering how others seem to live so care-free.
My anxiety eats away at me, but I’ll just have to wait and see, one day maybe I will live free.
