Rain red as crimson, falls from your veins again
Why must you let yourself give in?
Let the voices take over,
Making you lower your head-
and raise the blade.

Then coming to me,
Wearing a fake, plastic smile.
Saying you're fine..
When I know it's a lie-

And there's nothing I can do.

Life

One man's heaven, is another man's hell
Some see a pond, others: A wishing well
One person loves to dance in the rain
Another hides inside, feeling nothing but pain
One sees food as fuel
another, a jumbled mass of harmful calories
One sees a razor as only a shaving tool
another, a way to ease the pain
One sees life as a beautiful
another, nothing but sadness
One sees the other as weak
another sees the other as someone they wish they were.

*It's all about perspective

We grew up learning that butterflies were harmless,
That we should fear the bees.
But if you look at it a different way,
We ourselves are the butterflies-
So beautiful, but unable to see.
And the bees gliding lazily through the air
Won't sting unless displeased.

like fools, we dove into the shallow end.
head first. blind to the danger.
the jump itself was bliss.

fingers interlocked, laughter pouring from our mouths,
eyes bewitched and sparkling naively.
we were childlike. godlike. untouchable.

however our euphoria ended abruptly
at the reality of the encroaching cement bottom -
awaiting our skulls

but by the time we realized what was happening
it was too late.
you cannot stop gravity.

the smiles faded from our mouths.
and we went down,
down, down.

no hope for air.
no flailing limbs.
no final breath.

not a chance at revival.

we were dead on impact.

we never got to swim.

i don't know her name..
i just see her pour water into the river..
she then stands in the shallows with her umbrella..
she looks away into a place that she knows exist..

i don't know her name..
i just hear her hum a melody sweet..
makes the river flow..
as she looks away into a place that she knows exist..

i don't know her name..
i just see her hair dance in the wind..
she spins her umbrella left to right..
as she looks away into a place that she knows exist..

i don't know her name..
i just see her stand in the shallows under a lone black cloud..
rain falls on her umbrella and into the river..
as she looks away into a place that she knows exist..

i don't know her name..
i just wrote a poem about her..
a memory a dream..
someone real, someone created, in a place i know that truly exist..

They say "actions speak louder then words" that we are defined by what we do.
I say we are defined by the fact we keep in mind each one of you.
Please stay in tune.
