What other kind              of creature could divide
Each different thing             into its different sides
With chaos versus             order, dark and light
The stark duality of         wrong and right
We even split the very        world in two
With human versus human,       we and you
But still no matter how much      we divide
Each thing has infinitely many      sides

zackery jennings
a lost soul going thru the motions
on and on work and work
time to move on

who is that
a stranger yet so familiar
memories of a love forever lost

took the bait
hooked thru
blinded by a ghost of the past

darkness surrounds the oblivious soul
encroaching maddening little by little
darkness goes deeper and dark

twas but a demon in sheep's clothing
all feeling gone
the soul wanders lost
i found i got with a girl because she reminded me of someone i love who is now gone but her actions and treatment showed me who she really was

So let us speak plainly now…together
Just this one forever, again
Abound is a metaphor long forgotten
Momentarily mystifying enchantments
Interlocking bittersweet ballet
Held merely with theories of strings
Spinning within missing seconds
Enveloped by contemplation chaos
Into webs of impossible daydreams
Tasteless are such words delivered
Lost on ears deaf to comprehension
Catapult genuineness until hubris fades
Holdfast to chivalry unto death of self
Carry the wisdom of those older
With the fear of those younger
Be true to more than anyone expects
No story is written, but continually forged

I could kiss you through the words of a rhyme,
letters delivered with tender exquisite affection,
each syllable a moisture drop on delicate lips,
velvet verse licking porcelain, tasting perfection.

Stanzas saturated with the metaphors of love,
dripping salaciously upon your excited sighs,
I kiss your lips through the words of a rhyme
as they glisten like a jewel between your thighs.
