Melody out to
Tug at my heartstrings
My lady’s voice.
A honeyed polished version
of Mariah Carey's.
breathtakingly sensuous with
a hint of naughty**

Unraveled my Heart
Encircled my soul
Pulled in so deep
I could not see
How it would
End

*So pull me any
closer and I
can tell you
how it ends

I remember those days you held me
You'd lean in and tell me
"I remember when I first saw you, that's when I knew you'd be mine forever"
I remember that night we went to the park
We lay side by side gazing at the stars
I remember that same day, June 28th when
I woke up and you were gone with to explanation
I remember the text message you sent  saying "this love is a complication"
I remember those nights I cried myself to sleep
I starved myself, I couldn't eat
I remember I had the courage to go to your house
I remember when I got there, looking through your window
You was holding another girl to your mouth!
I remember I broke down crying, I should've known
You held her, just like you held me
You told her what you told me!
Now I'm all alone in my room
Remembering all the memories of you
But I'm an independent lady, I can take care of myself
I don't need you, or anybody else!
Now I'm in the arms of another man
Finally someone who gets me, who understands
This poem is an inspiration from one of my most favourite music artists. I've never experianced this and I hope I  or you never will.

Sometimes, just sometimes
I want to bash my head against the wall
To knock me out of this loop.
Where the hell did it come from and
Why is it digging itself inside.
My heart's already done for.
In my head it's all disguised.
So all that's left to seep out are these
Conflicting words of lust, like, love.
From hands that know too much but not enough.

Giving up is easier right now
Than trying to hold on.
Sad thing though I knew,
You weren't mine all along.
Maybe in time we'll be distant.
Won't think about it anymore
Sad thing though I'll wish,
My hand is what you longed for.

one slipped out
unobtrusively

now
instead of walking safely
on a globe
you're slipping
on that one marble...

so ...out of place*

keep counting them marbles ...yeah, keep counting!
love looking at the patterns in marbles :)

oft, external things have a way of letting themselves in...uninvited

nothing like retreating into one's inner space....bubble of peace...where we sometimes just get to say: leave me the hell alone!

sub-entry: Fixing a Hole - Lennon / McCartney

I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering
Where it will go

I'm filling the cracks that ran through the door
And kept my mind from wandering
Where it will go

And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong I'm right
Where I belong I'm right
Where I belong.

See the people standing there who disagree and never win
And wonder why they don't get in my door
I'm painting my room in a colourful way

And when my mind is wandering
There ....I will go
And it really doesn't matter if I'm wrong I'm right
Where I belong I'm right
Where I belong.

Silly people run around they worry me
And never ask me why they don't get past my door
I'm taking the time for a number of things
That weren't important yesterday
And I still go

I'm fixing a hole where the rain gets in
And stops my mind from wandering
Where it will go.
