I wonder why
We humans have the habit
Of playing hide and  seek
From our own guilt

Even if they have wings,
birds can never fly without the sky.

So many poems
and stories
have gone unwritten
due to fear of not being good enough

There were days
I remembered
To put my heart on my sleeve.

The other days
I hid it
So deep inside my body
I couldn’t find it for myself.

The terror of anyone finding
Me judging me
Seemed to linger in the air
I inhaled.

I’m not sad but I'm not happy either.
I can smile and joke and laugh around during the day.

But sometimes when I'm home and alone
At midnight my feelings round up
Hope this feeling would not reach the morning light.

Seems like everything must come to an end.

You're my favorite pain
That I keep on repeating again and again
You're my sadness and happiness that I want to feel
Sadness that makes me feel blue
Happiness that makes me so unreal

You make me sad,
But I still want you
You broke my heart.
But I still love you

I became a mess tryin' to empress you
But you're the best mistake that I ever do
