The world has

done it again

revolved and rotated,

As it does milenias

before,

And will do

millenias after,

Forever constant,

This cosmic reality

that don't count us,

The stars don't care

most of them long dead,

The planets are following

physics,

No grander scheme

than numbers,

Nothing really matters

that's the truth

So find your meanings

solely logical to you,

Might be senseless for others

but the world's a speck of blue

in a universe that don't bother

to look,

So rejoice, jump and shout,

fail, succeed,

The blackness of space

watches,

And it won't tell anyone

what he's seen

Dreams feel real until
your eyes open
Sunlight fills
the dark room
without hesitation your hands moved
Checking
the side of the bed, you looked
Nothing but mattress

There’s a space unfilled
that the midnight answered
A figure etched in your head
but faceless
Only a hint was left
of the joy and calmness
that the Sandman
sprinkled during the witching hour
Leaving an empty husk
in plain white shirt
clutching her chest

Energy accumulating
Point gaining heat
A period of ink, blotching
In the blank white paper universe
The painter readies for a stroke

The streets are quiet

the night is dark

but the lamps are brightest

The moon is in its highest

peak and the world

is stark naked

Exposed

As 12 strikes the clock

You walk alone

Cold

Never minding the

dangers told

Bared senses

Mind calm

after days of storm

Smile forming on your lips

Be careful still

And come home

Slip beneath the sheets

Eyes shut and sleep deep

Outside, moonshine glows

If this mattress on the floor

becomes my deathbed

I hope my eyes are closed

yet not asleep

Like an owl in the night

Death, hunt me in

silence

For the bodies are tumbling

from the mountains made

out of them

And the General don't care

along with his Army, sightseeing

Temperature is rising

Eyes red and stings

Father came home from work

his body aches

and coughing

All mouths are shut

denying

the heat and the sweat

I must confess

fever's high today

Her ignorance and

fear

begs me not to say

Hear me out

cold seeping in

it's hurting now

Still drinking water

hoping it'll

stop

But how?

The night is silent

I am screaming

I can't write the words

good enough

to apologize

To the people I affected

I have no tears left to cry

for your lives,

wasted it in bawling for mine

Hear this final piece

Goodbye
My best poems sprout
on the edge of sleep
but
every morning
I awaken

to find the verses
lost to my dreams

Void,
Endless abyssal plains,
Drowned in sea of nothingness,
Pure, absolute, static—
—blank,
Eternal quiet of nothing—
—no, rather it was,
Unbegun
