I was waltzing to the jazz
Done everything, leaving no dash
Could see the diamonds
Glistening in my gaze
In bel air,
I was paralyzed with happiness
But the barque of past
Borne back to me
Ceaselessly carrying the mess
With desire that never rest
Thought I was living my best
With the old money vibe
As my facade fave
Then I heard thou name again
My heart bestrew asunder apace
And that moment I knew
I was melancholy stuck
In my old same dreary age.
So actually this one was inspired by The Great Gatsby. It wasn't my best poem but yeah just wanted to share it and yep still learning.

I wore fine dress
for our wedding fest
with bright diamond
on top of my chest
soft plumps red trace
curled hair mouches no less
looked at the mirror
praying for the best
in lieu I saw a lady
covered in desired mess
with tears glistening on her face
and letter on her left
written by a man
who stole her grace
thought could be his daisy finest
in his mysterious maze
but he ran leaving no pace
torturing me with undying test
sure they said love was boundless
like the 20's enjoy their jazz
but not for me
the queen of unfinished lace.

Home,
What do they know about home?
Some say it is where family begin,
Some say it is where life gets in,
It is a place to stay,
To live, to feel loved.

But some say it is where darkness crawls in,
Creeps out the wood into the living soul,
Creates a monster living as a whole,
Ain't it scary how home can change
the way you grow?

But for me home is different,
It is not a house with wood or wall,
Nor window, nor door,
It is a heart belongs to my loving soul,
Nor family, nor friends, nor the world.

He is just the man who makes me feel
I'm strong,
No matter where I go, with his soul,
I'm no longer scared, nor I will fall,
Cause he makes me feels like I'm home,
Because he is my home.
