She
Wasn't the prettiest
bright and maybe even intelligent
Was a loner because fitting in never happened
She didn't have what they had and even if she did
They made it clear she wasn't wanted
Sometimes the creative and different kids are never given a chance
She became a butterfly of her own choosing
Watch her soar, she doesn't need their approval or yours anymore

For 1,75$ a fast line
For 1,25$ lots of stops
so - why not converse.

How come you're so tall?
Why you're on a bus?

He is my friend, you know.

It is a warm day today.
You want a soda?
Or some salami?

I love your coat-your bag-
your smile. I'm from México.

We had free Christmas dinner
in a church with Golden arches
coupons as a bonus.

Completely unruly,
high on cake and life is good
this time.

The funny girl of the group is
copying accents as if it were
a performance.

Full of joy, merry,
come and listen to her act
some time.

Never lose your height, you hear.

This state gives you space to think
and opportunities to dream.
This state shows palm trees up the sky
and harvests most golden apples of all.

Yet
some travellers live in a car
on a fixed salary.
Yet
some travellers have no sugar
or fast line fares.

When you're poor,
you start hoarding stuff.

The ocean crashes
The desert colours
The gates are closing

Murals on walls

Kind words can warm
the winter months
Unspoken rules can stay
unquestioned fragments

In buses a world unfolds
so why not converse.

Stay

Mel
You were the shelter to my storm.

You saved me from the outside threat,

and inside you kept me warm.

Together, we watched the sun set.

In your arms I felt safe from,

the raging storm outside.

Wondering  what we will become,

of me if you left my side.

But for now, can we stay like this?

Until the storm outside goes away,

let's continue this everlasting bliss.

Please. Could you stay?
Short, sweet and for some reason took forever to write...?
Overpower me.
Make me scream.
I want pain.

This body is yours.
Do what you wish.

No,
I promise.
I didn't mean to.
You're in charge,
I just,
.
.
.
I think I'm gonna go a little darker here and there hehe..

Our angels are around us
Human and canine
Some days are simply glorious while others are just harder than others
Imagine if we didn't remember and just said goodbye
When you least expect it they appear in unexpected and magical ways
Keep them alive in your hearts and members

Miss you Daddy!
I played with your great grandson yesterday.
Watch over him, your granddaughters and their husbands,as well as Mom.

It didn't snow this year
I'm not sad
Just a little numb
And a trifle stunned
The hours pass too swiftly
Pounding past me
On elephant's feet
And it's a shame
That he's spending this evening alone
It's a shame that she
Still thinks we're in love
It's a shame that they
Are drinking with friends
Instead of going to bed
Like they should be
Broken inside, nowhere to hide. Anyone else sad tonight? :')

I don't know how to be
Anything but broken anymore
Left crushed and lifeless
I built myself back up
Into another fragile shell
Anything could tear me apart
I'm barely living
On the fringes of existence
Never truly taking part
Maybe I can't fall in love
But I can always count on
Falling apart
I can't love.
As we walk over the lawn
Facing the wrath of the crashing waves
Feeling the dew beneath the sole of our foot
As the grass tickles on every footstep

As the sun rises up with all of it's technicolour glory
Bathing the sky with golden glitter
Burning the water in it's yellow liquid rage.

As the wind chilled our bones
But the beauty keep us warm
As the birds take flight
To keep the young one fed
As the smell of the ocean
       Nurture wounds as a balm
As Foam form ashore
        Wet sand on our toes
As the day embrace the light
The promise kept by the night
As a new hope emerges
Just this day we'll keep up the fight.
