I just want you to know, you're one lucky person to catch my admiration for over 4 years.

Anyway, I like you still. You're human, after all. I like you more after I realized this. You're perfectly imperfect and that's what I like most.

Do we need to lose something just to see its worth?

Do we need to get sick just to realize how blessed we are of having a healthy body?

Maybe, yes. Because losing or lacking of something may mean realizing one thing we should be grateful of.

Dear Science

Thank you for waking me up to the real world. Memorizing some terms and concepts for the sake of exams sometimes make me feel disappointed (and sleepy) but then I remember, there is essence in what you teach. Life can be hard at times, but you make me appreciate it more. Technical terms I might forget in the future doesn't matter but what I've learned from you.

Money, in reality, is useless.
It can't comfort me when I'm sick.
It can't talk with me when I need someone to talk to.
It can't congratulate me when I achieve something.

But,
It can be used to buy me medicine when I'm sick.
It can be used to  pay a phone call to my friend or it can be used to pay a visit to my parents' house when I need someone to talk to.

I realize that money is, in fact, useless but becomes useful only when it serves a purpose.

Often we ask, 'what it takes to be successful?' but few ask, 'what it takes to face failure?'. This is what I've learned from what I read in a book--failure is not the actual opposite of success--it's 'quitting'. Once we quit, it's the end of the possible success awaiting us. Failures allow us to see where we've gone wrong and allow us to think how we can avoid them. So, I've realized failures aren't really bad at all. They're just lessons I need to learn. So if ever I commit the same mistake again, I know it's a lesson I only failed to learn.

I can never draw a picture as perfect as I have drawn it perfectly before. I tried but failed. Now, I realize we can't always make things the same way as before.

Time runs endless like a river
Time can blow away my mind to different places and memories
