I'm strangled by chains
from ties that were never severed
To breaketh thy grasp
and allow for these lungs to gasp
one last harrowing breath
would be simple bliss

'Tis purely imaginative
The thought of which
is my holy grail
and shall never be attained
For you
these ties shan't break
to allow the inhalation
of the salubrious air
and keep all
to thy heedless self

You were my greatest gift
I could not hesitate to open
For many years
Your name, I praised
If only the feeling would last

Time passed by
You have lost your bow
Now there is feelings of contempt
You are an empty box
All your contents fade away
As if a mere facade

I am left alone
With this empty gift
The first of which you gave
My life itself
You left in ruin

All for meaningless gain

My mind's itching and crawling
All my sanity,
Lost and forgotten
I have the pistol aimed at myself and

This game of Life is cruel anyways
It's probably best I flip the page
Becoming the scribe of my new way
Dedicated in a lost chapter,
one never to be forgotten
Afterlife of a man lying six beneath in his
coffin

My body is the perfect canvas
With the blade, I become an artist
One stroke at a time
Swiftly
But carefully
The canvas lined with
Thick red ink
My picturesque masterpiece
Finished with a sharp edge
And a deep breath
One step back
To admire my work
One more breath
For all the pain I must subdue
And all that is left

A Tiger Striped Tattoo

I would love to see her rise
The early morning sun
Waiting wishfully for hope
To burn the darkness from my eyes
Certainly true
But just as an interim
It is a shame to watch the colors
Twist to dim
I pledged to preserve the brilliance
Perpetually
Unfulfilled and I am contrite
It is truly unimaginable
But still I seek to accomplish
To bring everlasting glow
Despite the cyclic nature
And the other sides of day
I pursued
I declined
Even so
I would love to see her rise
My early morning sun
