Mark Levitt Nov 2019
Made by the faeries of Sligo,
Is she stealing me for her kind?
If she is I'd have no choice but to go,
I really wouldn't mind

My hand she takes, my heart awakes
Her aura and aurora -
unexplored they are

What parties are there?
Will she dance with me -
in the faerie way
And kiss in the ferns
In the moonlight
Till day.

To understand each other is key
but I’ve realised not everything
Two people who also complement each other is a strange,
and magical thing when it happens

Write to tried I
But poem a
Light no was there
Got I mixed up

The gentle space,
Fertile air,
Dappled light,
Some here,
Some there

Textured trunks,
Shiny leaves,
Hiding moths,
That soon
May be

Quiet sounds,
All around,
Pierced by calls,
Snapped twigs
And more

The scents, the smells,
The sweet bluebells,
That time is bliss,
You must not miss,
A wander in a wood
