Jamaica
An island; who are we?
We can see exactly what we want to be.

We work, we thrive, we sing, we dance
Though we may never get a fair a chance

Jamaica
An island; who are we?
We live on a small land in the vast blue sea
Where we catch crab and fish for you and me,
And rock happily for this is exactly what we want to be.
My third poem yay
Silas Feb 2019
We are here, we are free
Yet we can't be, a bird in a tree
Free of worries, full of Glee
At the world beneath thee
For though we are free,
We still can't be what we want to be
My very first published poem
Silas Feb 2019
An airplane and a car
That replaced horses and donkeys that didn't make it far
Like a bullet train it comes and goes
Like a scarlet knight that defeat all foes
Try to stop it if you dare
It's coming like a giant hungry bear
Technology, it's everywhere and yet so sweet
Not even humans in some ways can defeat
You name it, a computer can do it faster
Just how long do you think you're it's master.

How interesting,
A robot and a computer
That replaced workers in factories that was newer
And though they are lost and their jobs fade
New one are made of better grade.

Technology replacing us, maybe in some ways
It's here to fascinate, innovate and procreate
But it's here to stay and won't deteriorate

How interesting,
Technology, innovation an airplane and a car
Maybe they'll replace us but very very far
This is poem reflects technology and how it's revolution influence jobs.
