A soft pallet to put you at ease
Peaceful auras radiate with a glance
So light, almost gone
A rain shower washed away the brightness
With only faded splotches left
To gain relaxing soft shades
Someone has to wash away the bold pallet

The houses we once called home
Now solitary confindment
The faces we used to see in the sun
Can only be seen on a screen
Places where we had fun
Are now locked up and barren
All because we never know who could be contagious
A new pleague has taken over
Threatening and taking lives day by day
A little light has made its way
But its not enough
Trapped in our homes and countries
With limitations on our travels

My *****-ups are on repeat
I'm a ****** for wrongdoings
No matter how many counselors
No  matter how much treatment
I'm addicted to a substance
For brief time, I'm clean
Then I'm back on
I need the high
I can't kick the habit
I'm doomed to relapse
Because I want to overdose

I snuggle into my bed
I close my eyes
And I go on a journey
To where?
I don't know yet
Maybe a beautiful beach
Or a furturistic space station
Who will I be?
I don't know that either
I could be a rockstar on stage
Or a figure skater on ice
Who knows what I'll be
For dreams are infinate choices
And an adventure to have

I drift away from the real world
And enter a new one
A world where I can be someone else
Where anyone I've seen
On TV or in video games
I can join on their adventures
I can act a certain way
I can be sassy
I can be brave
I can be smart
I can be whatever
But I have to leave that world
The real world is cruel
The illusions in my head
Are things people want to make me get rid of
But I don't want to leave
Sometimes I wish reality was an illusion

The night is not being comfroting
Fog swirls and dances around the lake
The moon and stars are the only light
They all watch quietly
A pale glow emerges
Hidden in the fog
I stand frozen
The mysterious light stands there
It's glow like an eye staring
It doesn't move
It doesn't speak
What is it?
Is it a boat's lamp
Is it a stary flashlight?
Is it a wandering spirit?
Slowly the light fades away
Disappering into the fog
And it's idenity unknown

Lily is a robot
An emotionless, cold, metal robot
That's why I don't like her
Lily has a nice smile
I see her smiling with other people
Everytime she smiles, the sunlight shines into the room
But she is a robot
That's why I don't like her
One time, I was really sad
Lily sat beside me and comfort me
I didn't want her near me]
She is a robot, so she won't be warm and nice
That's why I don't like her
Lily has friends
She doesn't talk to a lot of people
She probably talks about robot stuff
What if her friends pretend to like her
That's why I don't like her
It doesn't matter if she looks human
It doesn't matter if she acts human
It dosen't matter if she is one of us
It's weird
She's weird
The world is better off without robots
And I will tell everyone
