Anybody hurting or abusing them is the worst act
The consequences are dealt with by the charities that we support
So when paws pass you by or if you are lucky enough to call them family
Remember how dear they are

An old friend said writing it down won't do
He was unclear that writing is my art and my lifelong friend
Every essence,nuance,color  travel is captured in my mind
Then it is crafted and when I feel it works then it becones a poem
So Dear Danny ,who left us long ago
I do write.it down because I am a writer

All the colors and reigns

So grand in the eyes of a child
The adult still loves carousel horses
The Nunley's Carousel resides in a museum on Long Island
The anazing Billy Joel saved it and had  it restored so adults that were children and remember can ride it again as he did

A bee stung him while watching a race outside
The tote board holds amazing moments and memories
He was a Harness owner and spectator
Four Starz Lights won the Jersey Sire Stakes
He won third leg and tne final race
Freehold Raceway has History and Soul
Sad to see that Nostalgic look on so many faces
So many enjoyed being part of the Afternoon Delight
Saying Goodbye to an old friend is not easy
